Quote: | "I see, Commander. Does 'Jon' have a last name, and is he injured? If not, please try and get as much information from him as possible, and try to access the station's computer if it's online. We need to find out what happened. Oh, and perhaps determine where everyone else has gone. have you detected more life signs?" |
Volch looked at the man curiously. "As the Captain asked, do you have a last name? Just as well, is there anything you can recall from recent events that might be of interest to you? Are you aware of where the other members of your crew are located, and what happened? Do you recall anything?"
Volch felt a slight amount of concern over this situation. Something wasn't right. He could feel it.

Jon looked to the Vulcan.
"I must apologize.. My last name is Vethaz, but i like it that people call me Jon. My head is very foggy, but i do remember all the names of the people who work here." Jon pointed to Brian. "That is Brian Shand, he was an Engineer on this ship. It seems like someone or something killed him."
Jon felt he could trust the Vulcan, although he didn't know why.

Eridani-43, OPS
Marisa, who, until now, had been too busy looking throughout the Operations Center of Eridani-43 to listen to the mysterious man, Jon's, speech, had heard the young man's last sentence.
Marisa, who had been looking at some blank computer screens, approached Jon and her Commander Volch. Arana, her medical assistant, was close behind.
"Ummm...did you say EMH?" Marisa asked, with a smug grin on her face. "What is an "EMH"? Why would you need this "EMH", or whatever you're talking about, to check on this poor man-" Marisa gestured to the dead Engineer, Brian Shand, before resuming her speech. "-when you have a perfectly capable Doctor standing right before you." Marisa laughed and outstretched her hand to the man, Jon. "I am truly sorry, Jon, is it?" Marisa sighed. "I am just in awe of your magnificent station that you have here. It is a shame to see something like this happen to it. I wonder what kind of things went on here, in Eridani-43's hay-day." Marisa made an embarassed laugh. "Oh! Dear me! I'm sorry...I haven't introduced myself. Lieutenant Commander Marisa Revar, Chief Medical Officer aboard the USS Serenity. How may I be of service?" Marisa ended her "rant" with a curtsie, pretending that her overcoat was a dress.

Jon looked to the woman who intruduced herself as Marisa Revar.
"Miss Revar, i am glad that the Serenity has such fine CMO, if you want you can investigate how he died." Jon pointed to Brian.

((UH, Guys? It's 2366, the EMH Programs were not even developed untill the 2370's))
Griffin continued down the hall looking around. He still felt like something was wrong. His mind was screaming at him to call his supperiors, but another part of him was telling him to continue the investication, as he IS the Chief Security/Tactical Officer...

-43-Eridani System, Asteroid Belt-
The ship's weapon had finished charging. It moved slowly now, approaching the station. Its sensors were offline, but the starship outside was still a threat. It knew that the asteroids and other debris would mean its signature would not be detected until it was practically on top of them--and then it would be too late.
Ten minutes and the only living thing in the system would be the microbes on the inner asteroids.
-Outpost 43-Eridani, Operations Centre-
Now that the station's computer was back online, the consoles in ops--those which weren't destroyed, of course--blinked to life as the system restarted. One console seemed frozen, however, and did not respond to the restart command, nor did it power off.
The console showed readouts from the internal sensors of level 21, which was where several key experiments were being carried out. There had been unusual spikes in electromagnetic radiation just prior to when the console froze.
-Outpost 43-Eridani, Wherever Griffin is-
Several metres away from Griffin, several red lights flashed intermittently, their glow spilling into the corridor that he was traversing. The dull female voice said, "Warning: biohazard containment breach. Emergency containment protocols offline. Warning: biohazard containment breach. Emergency containment protocols offline...."
-USS Serenity, Science Lab 3-
A crewman entered the lab. No one else was in it except for Tigan. She approached him with caution and said, "Sorry to disturb you, sir, but there have been unusual readouts in the spectrum we've been monitoring. Subspace fluctuations." She handed him a PADD that showed a rough map of the system and a line from the station to a spot in the asteroid belt showing elevated EM emissions.

Outpost 43-Eridani, Wherever Griffin is
Griffin peered down the corridor and looked around. He sighed and went down further. He took out his tricorder and started to scan the area. What ever was here, the computer was calling it a Bio-Hazzard. Griffin realized it was very well something medical. He stoped. He was very stupid for what he was doing. He looked at the tricorder and gasped. What ever it was, it was extreamly dangours. They would need enviromental suits if it was a bio-hazzard. And the tricorder wasn't registering what it was. "Damn...." Following protocall, Griffin tapped his combadge. "Griffin to Serinity, Lock on to the away team, emergancy beam out, Bio-hazards detected on the station..."

-USS Serenity, Bridge-
Walker got to his feet when he heard the call. "Walker to Griffin. A bio-hazard? Do you know what type?"
He stroked his chin, mulling over what this meant. It meant that some of the experiments were potentially dangerous--that somehow the contaiment had been breached. It didn't take a medical expert to realise too that the team could have already been contaminated.
"Griffin, if we beam you back, we'll have to beam you directly to sickbay and then initiate a level 1 quarantine. I can't risk having you potentially contaminating the rest of the ship. I want you to return to Commander du Sema's location. Get his opinion and the opinion of Dr. Revar on how to proceed. Walker out."

Griffin nodded and replied. "Understood Captain, any chance you could beam over enviromental suits? If we're lucky, OPS is clean, and we can avoid further contiamination, or rather, exposeure..." Griffin turned and moved rather quickly towards a turbolift awaiting the captain's response

"They're on their way," said Walker. He motioned to ops to close the comm channel and then said, "Beam over enough environmental suits to Ops, and a set to the mainframe for engineering. Inform Lt. De Rhys of the new . . . complication."

Griffin sighed in relife. "Thank you, sir. Stand by for updates." Griffin spoke to the lifts computer. "Computer, Ops" The computer chirped and the lift started on it's way towards it's destination. He sighed and spoke again. "captain, those bodies, if we can clear a bio-hazzard threat, they don't desiverve to be left here..."

Not yet aware of recent developments, Volch turned to Jon when he knew it was appropriate and pressed, "What do you recall from the period before you 'fell asleep,' as you put it? Was there anything suspicious that you encountered and are able to recall, Mr. Vethaz?"

Jon looked to the Vulcan. "My mind is comeing back now and i am starting to remember something, that may caused this. We detected strange readings with the sensors somewhere in the Asteriod belt. We didn't spend much attention to it, since it was gone when we did a full sensor swap of the area." Jon said to him, hopeing the information would be usefull.

Tigan too the padd off of the young officer and thanked her. He then began to study the data. He pushed all of the other padds out of the way and focused on just that new one. Hopefully it would provide some insight to what was going on...

"I do not know, Lieutenant," the First Officer replied, looking at Jon. He tapped his commbadge and said, "Du Sema to Griffen. Are you aware of what is currently transpiring?"

(Forgive my lack of posts....)
Griffin walked onto the ops from the turbolift. "I'm afraid I do Captain. It's some sort of biohazard. We are now under a quantine. I also ahve found several bodies. The ship will be beaming over envirommental suits to minimize the exposure."
