Romulans

The Romulans are supposed to be breakaways who couldn't followw the Vulcan ways of logic. OK, so they're pretty evil and power-grabbing, but they strike me as very pragmatic and logical. Any further thoughts?

They're very smart, but this doesn't mean that they have the same logic as the Vulcans. They're just a War-like species who are sneaky, strategic and dangerous. They are related to Vulcans, but if we didn't know that, i should've thought it's just a dangerous species.

They are related to the Vulcan's yeah, they still have some logic, yes, the simply didn't devote their lives to it like thier Vulcan Cousins did. They are a paranoid milteristic race, who prefer to mind their own affairs, and for other races to mind theirs. This is why so many of Romulan ships can cloak

Gotta love the Romulans.

You are right that they seem logical when it comes to decissions like going to war, but I think that sometimes being calculating is mistaken as being logical.

The Romulans are in no way as cold and logical as the Vulcans. They are aggresive and ruled by their emotions.
