I've just been re-watching First Contact- I loved it!! Second-best Trek movie ever.Picard was more of a captain not mooning over family or talking morally to Soran. The Undiscovered Country's still a fave- and I'm not really a TOS fan

Yeah also my favourite only after watching it a few times, the scenes with the rocket scientist get really boring IMO.

Well the thing with the Generations was to bridge this huge gap between the series and the movie. So much time went by, there's some cool parts in it, could've been better, but the dialogue between Soran and Picard was a bit too much. However the whole family talk, set the moment when Picard was in the ribbon. He wanted his family that was no more, and he got it!

However he could've just used the time ribbon to go back when he first met soran and just shut down the probe and arrest Soran. But that would be too easy!

Oh ya:

1st Fav: Wrath of Con
2nd: Undiscovered Country
3rd: First Contact
4th: Nemesis

Ah, this topic is for discussions for First Contact, please stick to that. Also, The movie came out not long after the series ended (1994) In fact, a few days after filming ended for the Series finale, Filming started for the movie.

BOT from now on folks! (Even though I just did an off topic)

First contact is def a good trek movie, one of the best (Right along with TWoK) I saw it at least twice when it was in theaters, and about a million times when it was released on VHS
