So...How did she and Picard meet? 500 years in the past? And also...how old is her species?

They met on Earth. She happened ot be there, hiding from her father or something. Picard went back to solve a temporal mystery with Data.

Yeah, she was a woman who got around, she was visiting earth at the time. It's weird, but that's how they meet, seeting up for the Future...

woopy was great she is one of my all time fav characters,
I liked her when she first met Q, it stands to reason that if her species and the Q's know each other that much her species most be very very old.

expecialy cas of what she said to Q/Picard on the epy they met.

We see how she meets picard in "Times Arrow". She is an elurian, her species is extremly old and all but extinct now. They along with their homeworld were destroyed by the borg. There are just a few hundred of them left now.

Woopys child hood hero was Uhura from TOS. She was the first black woman to have a role other than a slave or a cleaner on TV. When woopy saw her she knew that she could be what ever she wanted and decided to become a movie star. she ows her carrier to star trek and loves it so much that she requested to be on the show. She was a close friend to LeVar burton and that how she got on the show. TNG actually turned down her request the first few times because they didnt believe that she had actually requested to be on it.
