-Guardian Squadran 10, Cockpit-

T'Sa felt the urge to ask Ian what he was doing, he was endangering him self.

"I am on the way to your position I will be flanking your position, there are fighters in the area."

-Fighter, Cockpit-

Archer spoke.

"Archer to Oath, come in."

-USS Guardian, Bridge-

"Understood," He said, "We're going for the capitol ships. Guardian out."

He nodded to the helmsman to move towards the ship.

"Prepare a spread of torpedoes," He said, "Helm, attack pattern Gamma."

The small ship swooped past the heavily damaged Achilles, leaving Ian to worry about Ziona. He shook his head, forcing his attention on the battle and the endangered colony. The USS Magellan was performing admirably though. The Sovereign class vessel was showing it's strength. Blake obviously made a good leader, but even the ship couldn't hold off so many ships. It was taken a lot of damage as well.

"Fire when we're within range." He ordered.

The ship shook from hits by incoming fighters.

"Ignore the fighters," He said, "Guardian Squadron will deal with them, keep moving towards the capitol ship!"

The USS Guardian flew at lightening speed towards the large ship, almost in range...

-Fighter, Cockpit-

"Hippocratic Oath here." Benson replied.

-DSG, Brig-

After several inqueries, Donatra was led to the other Romulan admiral's holding cell. She stopped at the edge of the force field, an angry look on her face. She was not pleased about him assisting in stealing Federation technology.

"I know about the technology," She said, "I want it returned to the Federation."

~ Bridge, USS Magellan ~

The ship rattled as they were hit by a barrage while turning around and backing off once more after their attack. Sparks flew from several of the consoles, but there was no major damage done.

"Sir, shields holding at 79%," reported the ops officer.

"Good," Blake said.

"Sir!" The ops officer yelled out, "I'm picking up another Nautolian capital ship coming in fast.

"Christ esti..." Blake cursed out. Suddenly he remember the officer standing there doing nothing, "Do whichever you're most comfortable with..."

"Lietenant Henderson to Commander Robitaille. Sir! All torpedos tubes have been fixed and armed," the lieutenant reported.

"Good work, Lieutenant," Robitaille said with a sigh of relief, "You know what they say," Blake said, looking at the tactical officer, "Brute force and ignorance. It'll go."

The officer gave Blake a puzzled look, "Sir?"

"Prepare all weapons."

-Guardian Squadran 10, Cockpit-

T'Sa flanked the Guardian as promised. She targeted any fighter that was in range. She noticed a blip on her read out and looked but before she could react the fighter fired on hers. There was an explosion next to her sending sparks and shards in every direction.

"Uhh!!"

T'Sa's hands had moved acrossed the controls causeing the fighter to move in a steep angle, she quickly fought to regain control, nearly missing the Guardian. T'Sa gasped as she suddenly felt the sharp searing pain in her right side. She looked down and groaned as she touched it and her hand was covered in a green wetness. Her blood. She was bleeding, the pain was coming from the shard in her side...

-Fighter, Cockpit-

Archer sighed when he heard Benson. So they had made it.

"We're on the way, the Nautolian vessels have been taken care of. What is the condition of the ship?"

NTran had laid down and closed his eyes. Hed heard Donatras voice and her disapproval. Without opening his eyes he spoke.

I know what youre thinking Admiral. I didnt steal the technology nor did I have anything to do with the theft. I was ordered to have it tested on my vessel. I was opposed to it from the start and again when they killed the engineers and scientists that installed it. Id be only to happy to return it and leave it all behind me. NTran opened his eyes and slowly sat up. He was still in pain and groaned slightly.

If youll assist me in repairing my ship your officers as well as anyone else deemed necessary can remove the armor and purge any data on it from our computers. NTran thought about it some more. Hed left the Tal Shiar when he left Romulus.
Im no longer a member of the Tal Shiar. Their orders no longer apply.

U.s.s. Magellan, Bridge

McKnight nodded and stood at the Ops console along side another officer there.

-Fighter, Cockpit-

"We're heavily damaged," He said, "Whats new? We're enroute to the starbase nearby."

-DSG, Brig-

"Good," She said, "I'll leave the technology's fate in the hands of the captain. I'd go see him but apparently something is happening..."

She motioned around the room towards the red alert lights and the sounds of the sirens.

-USS Guardian, Bridge-

Ian noticed one of the fighters, from DSG, swoop dangerously close to the Guardian. Either that was a reckless pilot or the person was trying to be bold. The ship shook again from another hit by Nautolian fighters.

"Damnit," He thought to himself, "T'Sa, get them off our backs."

He gripped the edge of his seat and saw the massive Nautolian ship get bigger on the view screen as they neared it. Almost...

"Ten seconds until we're in weapon's range." An officer reported.

The captain didn't even bother counting it down. He simply waited, as the ship continued to shake from hit after hit. The Nautolians were doing a number on the Guardian. He shut his eyes and waited some more...

"Captain-" An officer said, about to report they were within range. Ian didn't even let him finish.

"Fire." He ordered.

The Guardian swooped well within their shield range and fire torpedo after torpedo across the greyish white hull. Explosion after explosion ripped the hull, tearing apart the plating. The small ship zoomed by the bridge of the vessel and turned about for another run...

-Fighter, Cockpit-

Archer nodded.

"Understood, We're on our way."

-Guardian Squadran 10, Cockpit-

T'Sa winced as she tried to user her Vulcan training to cut off the pain, but the battle was distracting her from doing so. She veered towards a fighter that fired on the Guardian and had opened fired, the pulse phasers on her fighter slammed into the enemy fighter and it exploded. T'Sa sighed and set the course for the fighter to keep on the Guardian's flank. She checked her wound again, the blood was still seeping out, so far no signs of slowing, not good. she shook her head to get her mind off the wound, her hand was smeared in blood as was what ever else she was touching. She opened a channel to the Guardian.

"I have cleared--"

T'Sa gritted her teeth as the pain sharpened momentarility. She resumed speaking.

"--A Path for you, Guardian. Set course for the lead ship, I'll follow and provide cover."

T'Sa tapped on her consol and relayed some orders to the fighters that were busy with the Enemy fighters. They were to take care of what they were fighting then flank Guardian

If youd be so kind Admiral. Ask them if theyll let us out. Im hungry and so is Commander TRell.

U.s.s. Magellan, Engineering

A conduit burst and began emitting sparks. An officer shouted.
Someone get on that!!! Kiris grabbed Cory who was holding an engineering kit. Kiris spoke.
Tricorder. Cory handed it to him. Kiris spoke again.
Damn, Ill have to manually shut down the flow behind this panel, seal the breach when I do. Kiris doubted the kids ability but was willing to give him a chance. Kiris re-routed power to a backup. He looked down and saw Cory moving through the engineering kit like a rabbit on the run. He sealed the breach and even reconstructed the optical fiber. Kiris climbed down. He patted the kid on the back.
Not bad kid. Not bad at all.

~ Bridge, USS Magellan ~

Blake noticed something fly by on the viewscreen? Was it...?

"Sir! The Guardian has joined the fray, and already caused significant damage by the looks of things!" reported the Ops officer.

"Good. Now lets add a little the their damage, shall we?" Blake began, "Attack pattern beta-9. Fire everything we've got at those bastards."

The Sovereign-class USS Magellan flew in fast, dodging several shots from the Nautolian ship as well as unfortunately being hit several times.

"Shields down to 60%!"

"Maintain course!"

The ship swooped underneath the Nautolian Capital ship and let loose a fury of phaser fire to the belly of the beast. sharps of metal flew off in every direction as explosions riddled the hull. The Magellan came out from under the ship and kept flying for a time.

"Alright! Now come about! Let's hit their engines with the torpedos now that we're behind them..." Blake ordered.

With that the Sovereign class ship turned about and move in quickly on the Nautolian capital ship. The Magellan let out a barrage of quantum and photon torpedos from all of it's tubes, including the rapid fire quantum tube. They struck the engines with ferocity and force.

--Farracon, Bridge--
"Shields are down, Captain!" the tactical officer proclaimed. "We have hull breaches on decks 7, 8, and 9."
"Deflector shields up!" Tolan shouted.
"Done!" the officer proclaimed.
Suddenly a Nautolian warship, more powerful than the command ship, dropped out of warp, immediately firing weapons at the Guardian.
"Sir," another shouted, looking up. "The Thunder has entered the battle!"
"Excellent," Su said, smiling, yet still fearful that his ship would soon explode. "Commander, dispatch the Muuktos to attack the Thunder-class starship, along with the Thunder. But I first want the Thunder to release all three primary fighter wings, including the Nautolian one. Have the Koinian wings target the Prometheus-class ship. I want the Nautolian wing to take out those fighters. That'll do some damage to them."
"As you wish, my Lord," Su replied, carrying out his orders.
"If we are to die," Tolan proclaimed, loudly, "let us know that we did it in the service of the Empire, our glorious Imperator, and the one true god!"
"Yavutazed!" each bridge officer replied, in concert. He now feared that, while the other ships were alright, the Farracon might soon be destroyed, hence his previous comments.

--DSG, Ops--
Katran stood at Ops, watching the processions as an officer yelled, "A Nautolian warship has entered the battle!'
Serious-faced, Katran began to doubt the progress of their success. "Mr. Jones, warn the Captain that he cannot allow that warship to go unfeddered. I highly recommend that he do his best to lure at the very least the warship to DSG. It can't stand a chance with the three other ships out there, and too few ships combating the Nautolians. Then open up a communication with the Guardian. I have anoter suggestion that just might work..."
Their strategies may have been amended slightly, but he still recognized some of the Nautolian battle plans. Now if he could just pinpoint what exact one they might be operating, they could win the battle easily. But he was certain that that warship had to be stopped.

((Note that the Nautolian (piloted) fighters are far more difficult than the ones you've been fighting.))

Romulan Space, Unknown Tal Shiar Location, 5 years ago

A communication sounded.

Will Commander Ditex and Sub-Commander TRell report to the Command center?
TRell sighed.
Always when were playing cards. Ditex smiled and replied, Im glad they interrupted us. TRell raised an eyebrow.
Because you were losing.

They both shared a chuckle and stepped into a lift.
Command center.

They had been briefed and sent on their way. A Tal Shiar agent had been captured and apparently he had information they wanted. Ditex had been given command of the Romulan Warbird Mistal. Hed been informed that the previous commander had failed to observe proper protocol. NTran didnt ask.

When they intercepted the Federation ship theyd been refused access to the prisoner. Theyd disabled the ship, boarded, procured the prisoner and been on their way in less than 15 minutes.

Later that night when NTran and TRell were eating NTran noticed TRell wasnt his usual chipper self.

Something wrong old friend? NTran inquired. TRell waited a moment and then spoke.
While I was on the Federation ship, an old man was going to shoot the prisoner before we beamed away. I killed him. Then I noticed a child looking up at me. Then I was beamed away.
Youre feeling guilty? TRell nodded.
Ive never killed anyone before. NTran nodded in turn.
It gets easier to kill after the first time but, well, at least from my point of view, the guilt never really subsides. Best to put it out of your mind old friend.

DSG, Interrogation Room

TRell awoke with a start. Hed actually dozed off in a chair. The dream/memory scared the hell out of him.

-Guardian 2 Fighter Alongside T'Sa's-

Two fighters flew alongside T'Sa, barely able to keep up with her rather erratic flying. The chatter on the comm. line was loud and hectic. All the fighters had an open comm. line to maintain easier ways of reporting to each other. What they were all saying was not something one would want to hear.

"I can't shake him! I nee-" The sound of an explosion was heard.

"They're too fast!"

"I'm on my way Guardian 6, just hang in there."

"Got one! Woo!"

"There's one on my tail!"

"There's so many....my God..."

Guardian 2 ignored the chatter and focused on the strange flying by Guardian leader. He noticed her fighter had damage to one of the wings.

"Guardian leader," He called out to her, "You alright over there?"

-USS Guardian, Bridge-

Ian watched the USS Magellan swoop under the large Nautolian ship, finishing it off.

"One more shot should do it." He said.

He nodded to the officer at tactical and two quantum torpedoes flew across the ship and rammed right into the bridge, causing the massive Nautolian ship to slide downwards, no longer having navigational capabilities. A cheer rang out across the bridge, but it was premature. Another ship was left, including the massive new one that just appeared. It immediatly began to attack the Guardian, cutting their cheers short.

"Evasive manuevers!!!" Ian yelled.

The Thunder class vessel quickly dodged anymore incoming fire. Ian noticed dozens of fighters being dispatched, including Nautolian wings.

"Oh no..." He said.

Nautolian pilots were second to none when it came to flying. Word was that even the Hydrans exceptional pilots could not match the Nautolians, at least, not perfectly. Things just became much more tough...the station was NEEDED.

-DSG, Brig-

Donatra turned to the ensign guarding N'Tran.

"I wish for him to be released," He said, "He'll be put in my custody."

She shook her head, "That isn't my jurisdiction ma'mn. I'm sorry."

Donatra sighed and looked back at the prisoner.

"Then see to it he gets food please." She said.

The ensign nodded and motioned for another officer to replicate food for the prisonser.

"I'll return for you after the debacle ends." She said.

-DSG, OPS-

Jones nodded, but before opening a channel, he offered a suggestion to the major.

"Major," He said, "I know we're low on time, but I wish to offer one quick suggestion. We move the station."

He was sure the major was going to be surprised by that, but he was quick to explain.

"The station has thrusters," He said, "Many of them. It will take a while and will screw up our orbit with Elerra Prime, which I'll have to fix, but we'll be put into the battle!"

Jones scrambled to open a channel to the Guardian.

"Channel open to the Guardian sir!" He said.

--Farracon, Bridge--
"We can't take much more!" the ship's tactical officer said. "All our shields are down. One more hit and our navigation systems will be in operative! We'll be sitting ducks."
Captain Tolan Su shook his head. "Commander, order the Muuktos and Canundrum to stay clear of the station. Have them concentrate all their firepower on one specific target. Captain Gole is now to take command of the force." Gole was the commander of the Thunder, the large and powerful craft that had just entered the battle.
"Yes, sir," Di'sota replied, and grudglingly went about carrying out his orders.
"What is it that the Klingons say?" Tolan asked himself. "Ah, yes. 'It is a good day to die.'"
As if it were poetic justice, as he spoke one of the ships swooped underneath the Farracon, launching two quantum torpedoes across the ship. The Federation ship's torpedoes rammed into the bridge, causing massive explosions and the Captain, along with his first officer, to dive backwards, into the ditch. The pointed craft then curved downward, navigation capabilities entirely gone and all hell breaking loose.
Luckily for the Nautolians, though, the message got out.

--Thunder, Bridge--
"Sir!" the communications officer on board the larger, more powerful Nautolian warship, the Thunder, shouted, looking up at the captain from his ditch station. "We're receiving orders from the Farracon. You are hereby to assume command of the assault force."
The Captain glared at the man from the upper walkway. "Why?" he asked, but he already knew the answer when he looked outside. He glared out the massive windows, glimpsing the Farracon as it dipped down towards the planet, unhinged.
"Never mind," he said. "Alert the others that I have assumed command."
"Aye, sir," the officer replied, and did as he was told.

--DSG, Ops--
"Good suggestion, Mr. Jones," Katran said, looking at the man. He turned back towards the forward viewscreen, glimpsing the Captain's face.
"Captain. We have a plan that should help to immobilize the Nautolian task force," he introduced. "First of all, it is necessary that we eliminate that warship as quickly as possible. The other two ships shouldn't be too difficult, but the warship needs to be decimated." He then closed his eyes for a second, opened them, walked a bit to the right, and continued.
"I postulated the necessity to lure the warship to DSG, but Mr. Jones had an alternative suggestion. He suggests that we move DSG to the warship. Now, that will undoubtedly take time, but I think I know a way that just might work and make time our advantage..."

-USS Guardian, Bridge-

Ian saw the major's face on the view screen. He liked Jones' idea, but wanted to hear any other ones. They needed as many as they could. This battle was not going well at all.

"I'm open to suggestions major." He replied.

--DSG, Ops--
"Well," the major began, "my thoughts are that we do what Jones suggested and use the station's thrusters to bring it into battle, despite the negative effects that will result with regards to planet distance, etc. As we are tredding towards the battle our ships will try to divert attention from the station, putting time to our advantage, if you catch my meaning, sir. Then we'll get into a proper position and the Guardian will lure the warship to the station. The only way to eliminate the craft is to use the station, and meeting half-way is the best way to get it done, especially considering the slow speed of the station with its thrusters. What say you, Captain?"

Romulan Warbird Mistal

Engineering to bridge. Satil looked up from his sensor readings. LTarin had assumed command being he was the ranking officer.
Go ahead Engineer.
Warp power has been restored, I can give you warp 3. No weapons yet, give me a few hours.
Very good. Bridge out.

LTarin looked over at Satil.
Something wrong? Satil placed his hands behind his back and stood ridged.
Admiral Ditex and Commander TRell would offer to help the Federation. Theyre taking a beating out there sir. LTarin turned around in his seat.
Im not either of them Sub-Commander and as you yourself have stated they threatened to destroy us. Satil was straining himself to remain calm.
Their captain appeared to be under pressure. He probably didnt mean it. LTarin didnt trust the Federation but he did trust TRell and Ditex.
Hail their station. Satil opened the channel.

Federation Space station, it appears you could use some assistance. If youll agree to forgo your threat of our destruction, wed be willing to offer it.

-USS Guardian, Bridge-

Ian smiled, liking the man's idea and tactical knowledge. It was obvious now why he was part of an elite team of officers. He only wished the man was on DSG more often.

"You heard the major," Ian announced loudly, "Let's lure the ships towards the station."

He gave a curt nod to the viewscreen and watched it switch back to the battle. The Nautolian pilots were giving chase to the Guardian, complicating matters.

"Open a channel to the Magellan and Achilles!" He ordered over a loud explosion.

The officer nodded and shouted that the channel was open.

"Ziona! Blake! Try and flank the ships! Force them towards the station!" He ordered.

The small ship veered over the massive Nautolian ship, the Thunder, while fighters gave chase.

-DSG, OPS-

Jones activated the station's thrusted, not wasting any time at all. A loud roar was heard as the station gently pulled out of it's orbit and headed towards the otherside of the battle. It's movement was there, but was extremely slow. This would take a while, unless the other ships could...lure the Nautolians to meet the station halfway. A hail came through while the station moved, from the Romulan ship.

Quote:
Federation Space station, it appears you could use some assistance. If youll agree to forgo your threat of our destruction, wed be willing to offer it.

Jones looked over at Katran.

"We could use the help sir..." He said.

-USS Achilles, Bridge-

The Prometheus class vessel was not doing well at all. Not because it wasn't tough, because it most certainly was. One of the latest classes of starships for the Federation. The fact that it had lasted this long, starting off alone, was a testament to the ship's strength, but not even a Soveriegn class starship could last this long.

"Hull breaches on multiple decks!!!" An officer screamed.

"Torpedo tubes are off-line." Another yelled.

The MVAM had been off-line for some time as well, not allowing the ship to utilize it's unique tactical capability. The ship shook again from another hit, causing heavy damage. An officer literally flew across the bridge from the explosion.

"We're losing main power captain!" An officer yelled to Ziona.

Lady Luck, Bridge

Caroline Marzuk, Captain of the Ferengi vessel, the Lady Luck, marched onto the Bridge of her vessel, after being abruptly awoken from her beauty sleep by the red alert that had been triggered on the station, due to the Nautolian assault force. The El-Aurian woman, still dressed in a robe and slippers, took a seat at the only chair on the Bridge, the Captain's chair.

Moments ago, Caroline had called all of her senior staff to report to their stations on the Lady Luck. She planned on taking the Lady Luck into the fray. She was not all too happy about what was going on outside of the station, with the battle and all. She wasn't going to allow her fate to rest in the hands of the Federation. She was going to take her fate into her own hands. Some would think that the Lady Luck, a measly Ferengi vessel, would be no match for the Nautolian warships. However, that is untrue. Caroline had taken the liberty to install some much needed modifications to her weapons and defense systems. Just a couple of extra torpedo tubes, here and there. Maybe some enhanced disruptors. Stronger shields. That kind of stuff. After all, the job of a freighter captain is a dangerous one...in the line of work that Caroline was in, anyways.

After a few moments, the rest of her senior staff began to enter the Bridge, taking their appropriate stations. Sakonna, her Vulcan first officer, stood beside the El-Aurian woman, in silence. Her communications and helm officers, Harrad-Sar and Kazago, an Orion and Ferengi, respectively, also took their stations. Lastly, a middle-aged and scarred Klingon man entered the Bridge, taking tactical. Shi'Vang, Son of Kunivas, was his name. Now, the senior staff of the Lady Luck was assembled on the Bridge...for the most part. Her security officer was nowhere in sight. The doctor and engineer were probably at their respective stations somewhere else on the ship.

Caroline spun about in her seat, to face her Orion communications officer, an Orion male.

"Harrad!" Caroline barked, saliva flying from her mouth, in order to grab the attention of her comm officer. "Open a channel to the station." Caroline ordered the Orion male. The Orion male complied with his Captain's order, opening a channel with the station.

"Done." Harrad-Sar replied, simply, after opening a channel with the station. Caroline nodded to her comm officer in thanks, before looking to the viewscreen.

"This is Caroline Marzuk, Captain of the Ferengi vessel, the Lady Luck." Caroline introduced herself. "I am requesting permission to disembark." Caroline asked, politely.

U.s.s. Magellan, Bridge

Laura looked at the sensor readings.
Captain, the Achilles is losing main power. Theyve also got multiple hull breaches.

Romulan Warbird Mistal

Well be glad to assist. Mistal out.
LTarin stood up.
Sub-Commander, you have the bridge. Ill be returning to my ship. Satil looked confused.
You ship doesnt have the weaponry to have any real effectiveness sir. LTarin smiled.
But she does have maneuverability and itll be one more fly for them to swat at. Satil nodded.

Jones heard the call from Caroline and couldn't find a worse time for this...

"If you haven't noticed ma'mn," He said, "There is a battle going on. It isn't safe. Permission denied."

The Romulan ship hailed the station. Federation Space Station," the ship's commander said, "it appears you could use some assistance. If youll agree to forgo your threat of our destruction, wed be willing to offer it.
"We could use the help, sir," Jones stated.
Kyle contemplated this for a moment. They needed the help, but at the same time they couldn't let that ship escape. But the more pressing matter was at hand. "You may assist us," he said, before the transmission ended, "but if you try anything funny, we--as in the station and the ships--will be forced to fire at you. Is that understood, Commander?"

--Thunder, Bridge--
"Sir, the enemy ships have flanked our ships," an officer reported up to the Captain.
"What are you trying to do, Captain?" he asked himself, rhetorically to Xavier, and observed the situation as it unfolded.

Lady Luck, Bridge

Caroline let a heavy sigh escape her pink lips, after the cyborg denied her request. The El-Aurian woman buried her head into her hands for a moment, before replying to the man's statement.

"Excuse me...Jones, is it? Lieutenant Jones?" Caroline began, wracking her mind to remember the cyborg's name. "I know that there is a battle going on. I want to help. Your ships out there could use the extra help, no? After all, those damn Nautolians are quite a nuisance. Plus...don't take this the wrong way, however, my faith in the Federation is...shall we say...limited. I'd feel much better if I was out there, myself." Caroline interjected, with a trace of irritation in her normally sly voice.

Romluan Warbird Mistal

The officers words and clear threats reminded LTarin of why he didnt like or trust the Federation. LTarin gave a curt nod and killed the transmission.

LTarin tapped his combadge.
LTarin to Adal, prep for departure. Make ready the weapons and make sure our maneuvering thrusters are in top shape.

LTarin transported over to his ship. Then it joined the fight moments later.

Jones looked over at the major, not wanting to have to deal with this.

"Major Katran," He said, "A civilian ship is asking to join the battle."

Meanwhile, the station continued to slowly move towards the battle making little headway...

-USS Guardian, Bridge-

"Shields down to 22%!" An officer at tactical yelled.

Ian wracked his brain for an evasive manuvers pattern that could help. He snapped his fingers.

"Pattern Kirk epsilon!" He ordered.

The ship narrowly dodged more incoming fighters while firing back.

-Guardian Squadran 10, Cockpit-

T'Sa responded to the voice asking her if she was alright.

"I've been injured, the bleeding wont stop...."

T'Sa gasped as she saw the larger ship heading for the Guardian. She spoke again.

"Don't worry about me, flank the Guardian!"

T'Sa looked down to her tactical read out, the blip in the distance that was the station it was moving, but what cuaght her eye was, how fast it was moving. T'Sa opened a comline to the Guardian She spoke, not caring who could hear.

"Ian some fighters are coming in to flank you, cordnate your attacks."
