What for you was the most cleverly written Voyager ep. I thought Cathexis, or maybe Caretaker. We want ones with plots you can't get your head round at first, or ones where characters go through an interesting experience- Sacred Ground?

Quote: | Distant Origin:
The scientist Forra Gegen finds the remains of a human Voyager crewman with a genetic pattern related to his own race, the saurian-like Voth. He knows this is the keystone to his theory that the Voth actually evolved on a planet far away from the Delta Quadrant, on Earth. He heads for Voyager and abducts Chakotay who understands Gegen's motivation and helps him prove his theory. However, the Voth government, due to their strict doctrine that they are the "First Race" and superior to warm-blooded animals like humans, prohibit any further research in this field. Gegen refuses, but when the court threatens to destroy Voyager he eventually complies and retracts his Distant Origin Theory. |
Great ep

Distant Origin made me laugh because the thought of dinosaurs in flying saucers just cracked me up.

I actually thought Coda was pretty thought provoking.

Definatly "The Thaw". Very existential perspective on Fear, I found it fascinating.

There were a few that I thought were pretty well done, but the one that sticks in memory for me was Latent image....where the Doctor starts suffering a breakdown because he has "memory lapses" due to an incident where he had to choose between saving wither Kim or another Ensign who were both badly injured and had equal chances of survival, but only enough time to perfom the procedure on one of them
Everything started going downhill from there for him to the point where he became usless until the crew had to wipe his memory of the event but he slowly started piecing it back together
