Doing some pieces with Nebulas at the moment, you might prefer this one to "Into the Abyss".

That Intrepid Class looks a little like Voyager from 'The Year of hell' episodes.

Great Job.

Impressive! I'm trying to decide if it's more effective from this angle, or if it would be more effective if you rotated it 180 degrees. More of a close up on the damaged ship, and it could look more like a retreat.

Either way, you nailed the atmosphere of the shot

I always love Intrepid featured pics...lol...

But I agree with TM on this. Maybe focusing more on the damaged ship. Not just because it's an intrepid, but it would be the same if it were any other class of ship...lol. But ya, those are my nitpicks...

I had intended to reverse the composition so the Intrepid would take the leading role in the image, but I'm not quite at the stage yet where I can simulate large close up damage effects. I'm still experimenting and seeing what I can do, but for now it's the reason why it's in the background rather then the foreground.
But I'm just as eager to see it from the other angle as you are hehe.

Makes sense You could always look at the screenshots of Voyager during Year of Hell for reference. Don't know if that's where you're running into trouble or not.
