Fri Jul 07, 2006 4:42 pm DS9 episode "Children of Time" |
|
So I was watching a DS9 episode today on Spiketv called "Children of Time" and it was an episode that I had never seen and it was very good. Did anyone see the episode? It was about a temporal anomaly that causes the crew to meet their own descendants who have been stranded on a plantet for 200 years, etc. It was an interesting episode.

Speak of the Devil. I watched that one today too. It's in my top 20 faves of DS9.

Yeah, I watched like half of this today on TV, but I'd seen it before. Anywho, I think it's an okay ep. I hate episodes like this though, because you know that they're obviously going to end up back at DS9, or safe, or whatever because... it's a TV show and it has to keep going. They don't do surprise series finales,

Meh, not really. At least DS9 did surprise us with wiping out the colony. On TOS, TNG, ENT, and VOY they would have made it so the colony would survive AND the ship.

I just saw it it's been sitting on my TiVo for a while now and I just got around to watching it last night. Pretty interesting. I kinda figured it was Odo who reset the flight plan.
Did this episode ever effect the relationship between Kira and Odo?

Yes, it did. Watch "Call to Arms". They act all nervous around each other, however, they confront each other about it and forget about it until "His Way", I believe.

- how stupid I hate it when shows do that. Particulally Dramas and Procedural Dramas.

They don't really "forget about it". They resolve the issue...in Jadzia Dax's closet if I recall correctly.
