-DSG,Cargo Bay two-

James knew if he said anything it would give away the sens e of stealth the starfleet officers had. It was more likely however, if there was someone else in the room, they heard the turbo lift as it arrived. James simply nodded not wanting to risk more stupidity from this person. He two a Step back so that was efectively the door out of this place. James looked up checking for naything odd. It's a little known fact people rarely ever look up. James was trying to get himself in the habit of looking up more often.

Romulan Warbird Mistal

It was time. TRell to bridge, were ready.
Understood. Ditex to all ships, proceed to the objectives.

Later, In the Romulan system

Take the probe ships and Admiral Donatras Warbirds to Remus and send the others to the fourth planet.

Aye sir.
TRell was piloting the probe ship. The 2 little fleets had begun their attack runs.

General Selas Office, Romulus

A communication notice sounded. What is it?
Im sorry to bother you General but the TPar ship yards and the Dilithium mines on Remus are under attack.
By whom?
It looks to be one of the groups that left Romulus.
Ready my ship. Well take care of them once and for all.
Yes General.

Romulan Warbird Mistal, Romulus Orbit, Cloaked

NTran saw Selas flagship and several others head away from Romulus and out to the shipyard and dilithium mines.
Like clockwork.
He went to the Transporter room.

Romulus, Selas Complex

NTran had just beamed down. It was just damned lucky the probe ships in addition to the real ships had pulled Sela away. NTran initiated a scan. A Human biosignature was detected. NTran followed the blip for several minutes. He looked inside the holding area. Only one guard. NTran pulled a stun grenade off of his belt, primed it and threw it in. The flash had dropped the guard. NTran deactivated the forcefield and went inside. Laura was laying on the floor. Shed been tortured and beaten.

Laura. Wake up, its NTran. Laura stired slightly for a moment. Then she looked up. She backed away into the corner.
Stay away.
Ive come here to save you.
No, youre just another hologram. That Romulan women is just playing tricks with me again.
Im not a hologram. She looked at NTran for a few seconds.
Prove it.
How?
Where did we meet.
At a Starfleet engineering convention. I accidentally bumped into you and knocked you over.
Not enough.
Then what else?
Who is my favorite classical Earth composer?
Beethoven, you always listened to his music when you were upset with me. NTran smiled.
Because you knew it annoyed me. Laura looked at NTran.
Is it really you?
Yes its really me. Laura jumped, put her arms around him and started to kiss him. NTran pushed her back.
Not here. We have to go. TRell is waiting for us in orbit. Laura nodded and followed NTran out of the holding area. They had just about left the area when NTran stopped. He pulled a PADD out of his suit and threw it back into the building.
What was that?
A message. Come on, were nearly out of here. They walked back to where NTran had transported in. NTran pulled out his communicator. He was about to call for transport when he heard another sound. It was the activation of an R-12 disrupter. NTran quickly grabbed Laura and pulled her close. NTran heard the disrupter firing. It was a strange feeling. The humans had claimed that their lives flashed before their eyes just prior to dying. He saw it all.
NTran hit the ground. Laura half from shock and half from instinct grabbed NTrans disrupter and fired it at the man whod shot him. The man fell in a crumpled and smoking heap.
NTran. He didnt respond. Laura grabbed him.
Wake up!! He coughed and spoke shakily.
At leastat least I got to see youone last time.
No!! Dont say that. Well find a doctor. Laura heard a transporter from behind. She turned around and leveled the disrupter at the target. It was TRell.
Hold your fire.
Im sorry. He was shot he needs a doctor. TRell pulled out his tricorder and scanned the body. The moment hed dreaded for nearly 50 years had finally come. His friend, his mentor was dead. TRell looked up. Laura saw a single tear in his right eye.
Im sorry.
He cant be dead!! We need a doctor!!!
We may be able to save him if we get him into stasis now. TRell to Mistal, 3 to transport.

Romulan Warbird Mistal

TRell carried NTrans body into the brig area. He sat the body in a cell next to the main holding area. He activated a forcefield and went to the main console.
What are you doing?
Im going to lower the temperature inside the cell to near zero. That should preserve him for awhile.
Where are we going to take him?
There is a Federation space station near Elerra Prime. Im sure they have doctors there.
You mean Deep Space Guardian.
Thats right. How did you know?
I was going to go see my son. I was just getting ready to leave when those Romulan goons kidnapped me. TRell looked at Laura. Looking back she realized what shed said.
Im sorry, I didnt mean that the way it sounded.
Its alright. We need to get going. TRell and Laura made their way to the bridge.
Open a channel to the fleet.
Aye sir. Channel open.
All ships, objective achieved withdraw I repeat, withdraw.
TRell flipped his synaptic transmitter down and sent the Self destruct code to the probe.

TRell filled Laura in on a few of the adventures that NTran and he had been up to since he left Earth.
and when we finally transported back we didnt think that there might still be leeches it our drenched clothing.
So how did you get them off of the ship? TRell was about to answer.

Bridge to Commander TRell.
Go ahead.
Were approaching the Federation space station.
Were on our way.
They went on to the bridge.
Shall I open a channel sir?
Hold on a second. TRell turned to Laura.
You hold the Starfleet rank of Commander dont you?
Yes.
Perhaps you should talk to them. They didnt respond well to us last time. Laura nodded.
Channel open. Laura stood up strait and spoke.
This is commander Laura McKnight, recognize Starfleet I.D. 85412579. Request communication.

-Nautolian Shuttle-

T'Sa leaned foward slightly and narrowed her eyes as she studdied Aia's reactions when she went to the foward compartment. Somewhere in her Vulcan sense, T'Sa knew Aia was being truthful. T'Sa quickly stood and went to the seat next to her that Ian had once occupied. T'Sa's eyes widened when she saw just how dark the consol was. Everything had shut down!. T'Sa tapped at a couple buttons fruitesly to see if anything would work. She pursed her lips and sighed lsightly.

"Ms. Shoran, is there anything you could do?"

T'Sa looked back to Engineer Grey for a moment, who was hunched over a consol trying to fix what ever was wrong.

-USS Scimitar, Bridge-

Archer sat in the command chair. "Time to Intercept?"

-Runabout-

The young Pilot that was transporting Doctor Kayal Aylin to Deep Space Guardian, was sitting in the pilots chair. He looked at the ETA on the clock. He turned to the Bajoran/Cardassian Doctor.

"We should be there less then an hour, Ma'am."

Risa, The Taylor Resort

Rick looked at the PADD again. He smiled.
Your mother and grandfather would have been proud.
Im leaving tonight. Tessa is going with me.
Do her parents know?
Shes calling them now.
So, my two best employees are leaving me eh?
Ill be back when I get shore leave and Ill make sure to recommend the Taylor Resort to all of my colleagues.
See that you do. Now come here and give your old man a hug.

Cory gave his father a quick hug. After that he went back to his room where Tessa was packing her bags. Cory had two suitcases, Tessa had several.

Are we going to need to hire a cargo shuttle?
You know I cant go anywhere without my wardrobe. I must have something for all occasions.
You know, replicators make clothing too.
I dont like replicated clothing. It makes me itch. Cory just shook his head.
How did your parents take it?
My father said that he didnt approve of me living with you but my mom talked him into it.
Howd she manage that?
She threatened to divorce him.
Thats a little harsh.
Not really. You just dont know my parents that well.
The one time I met them your dad watched me like a hawk. It was kinda spooky.
Hes just being protective of me. I am his only daughter after all.
Are we ready?
I suppose so.

They walked to the transit station and boarded the last outbound shuttle.

Nautolian Shuttle

Ziona sat back in her chair, shut her eyes and opened them slowly, looking around the shuttle. She was tired but she knew she had to stay awake. She focused her eyes on T'Sa and listened to every word she said.

Kiris heard sounds. Mechanical sounds. Another sound that sounded like an Arc welder. A buzzing sound. Then he heard voices. It was the doctor and Seven of Nine.
Doctor, Seven. Kiris could see his face in the display on the wall.
What happened to me? he saw Borg implants on his face. He could feel them elsewhere as well.

The EMH put a hand on his shoulder to try and comfort the patient.

"Calm yourself," He said, "The operation was a success. The Borg implants are a mere side effect. Do not worry about it. I'll take them off, but you need to recuperate first."

Aia growled softly, slipping back into her previous chair. She was still drained, but she'd been through worse in the past months. Her brow creased as she surveyed the computer's controls.

"This isn't normal." She said softly, biting her lower lip. "This was done remotely... sir, somebody has an idea that it's us. With all the people who must be looking for me, I'm not entirely surprised. All the people with psionic abilities, no less. It could be anyone in the empire."

Ian slowly nodded his head, accepting her explanation. If Aia had wanted them captured, she would have done it on Farius Prime.

"Mr. Grey is working on restoring the ship," He said, "If you can help..."

He looked back and spoke to Grey, "How much longer? The fleet is waiting for us..."

-DSG, Cargo Bay 2-

Pierre's tricorder immediatly spiked in energy when he detected a transport. He cursed loudly in French.

"He beamed away from here," He said to the others, "Lets go after him."

"Computer," He said, "Site to site transport to these locations."

He said the desired deck and Pierre, James, and the other security officers beamed away in pursuit of Neo.

Jones ran the I.D. through the computer was satisfied to see it checked out. He opened a channel and quickly replied.

"Deep Space Guardian here," He said, "What can we do for you commander?"

At the exact moment, the Klingon ship decloaked, but it did not fire. Reed looked over at Archer.

"Captain," He said, "They're shields are down and they are surrendering..."

Kiris calmed down, slightly. How long will it take?

TRell handed Laura a PADD. She looked at it briefly and turned to reply.

We have 36 wounded on several different ships. We request the use of your medical facilities.

Transport Shuttle En-route to DSG

Cory was sitting in his seat reading a PADD. A few minutes later Tessa came out of the Lavatory area and sat back down. She wiped her mouth with a cloth.
Still space sick? Tessa looked at him. He knew she hated flying and avoided it when she could.
Ill manage. Cory rummaged through one of his bags and pulled out a Hypo. He handed it to Tessa.
Here, I knew youd need it.

Aia nodded, nibbling on her lower lip. "I'm fairly certain I could unlock the systems if I could get the shuttle to recognize me. The only problem with that, they'll know I'm here." She smirked a little halfheartedly, "No doubt why they did it."

T'Sa nodded slowly. That would be unfourtinate if they were caught, but it could be a back up plan. She looked back carfully at Ian, then to Aia.

"Do...do what you can, Ms. Shoran."

Transport Shuttle, Just off DSG

Cory looked out the window. Instantly the anger hed felt 5 years ago returned to him. What were the Romulans doing here? There were 6 ships. 3 Warbirds and 3 craft he didnt recognize. Tessa pulled him away from the window.

Dont let it get to you.
What do you mean dont let it get to me? How would you feel if someone you were close to was killed by them?
Look, I sympathize with your situation. But look out there. That small fleet poses no threat. It would take a fleet 50 times that size to take the station.

Cory slumped back into his seat. His hatred for the Romulans wouldnt be gone until every last one of them was dead.

Shortly later they had been cleared to dock. Cory looked at the PADD with his orders on it. As luck would have it the lab hed be working in and his quarters were just a level apart. As an added bonus, there was an entertainment facility that Tessa noticed on the way in.
Looks kinda dead. Maybe Ill get a job there, liven things up a little.
Dead? Looks empty to me.
Maybe Ill get a lease on the space then. I could open a gaming association like we had on the resort.

Cory and Tessa entered their quarters.

The first thing Tessa did was check the closet. She smiled almost immediately.
Its certainly bigger than my last closet.
Leave some space in there for me.
You can use the dresserif you decide to put your clothes in there.

Ordinarily Cory just recycled his clothing. They began to unpack.

Grey looked up from where his head had been stuck inside the console as he attempted to override the computer's command protocols using his tricorder and a bent metal rod. Taking the rod out of his mouth, he said, "I've bypassed their command centre, sir. Warp drive should be online in about half an hour, followed by navigation. Unfortunately . . . tactical systems are another story. It'll take longer for those."

He slid back into the console.

The hologram thought about it for a quick moment, "Several hours. Now please, lay back and rest or I'll sedate you."

Seven arched her eyebrow at the doctor.

"You should listen to him," She said in a monotonic voice, "He has been known to do such things..."

The two former crewmates shared a smile and looked back at Kiris.

After some time, the engines had come back online. Ian immediatly set a course to the ship yards, but he had a bad feeling doing so. Someone knew about their mission. Little did Ian know, MU Merik was on DSG...causing trouble...

DSG, Sickbay

Kiris laid back.
What ever you say.

Romluan Warbird Mistal

Understood. The channel closed. TRell pulled aside one of the other Romulan officers.
Subcommander, I want you to take the wounded that can walk and report directly to the Sickbay on the station. Ill be along shortly.
The officer nodded and exited the bridge. TRell turned back to Laura.
Come with me. Laura followed TRell off the bridge and into a corridor. They stopped in front of a door with Romulan letters on the door. Laura couldnt read it. TRell punched in a code and the door opened. They went inside. Laura was surprised by what she saw. Starfleet cargo containers. She looked at the labels on the containers. Compression Phaser Rifles, Tetryon Pulse Launchers, Concussive charges, Regenerative Phasers and several other unlabeled containers. In the back were stasis units. TRell put one on a cart and pushed it back toward the front of the room. He noticed Laura looking at the containers.

Where did you get all of this stuff?
Im afraid Im not at liberty to discuss that. Laura looked strangely at him for a moment and dismissed it. The returned to the brig area and put NTran into the stasis tube. Then they went to the transporter room and beamed over to DSG. TRell pushed the cart into a nearby lift.

DSG

Do you think well be able to save him? TRell noticed Laura looking into the tube at the body of NTran. He thought about it for a moment.
I believe that a human expression would best describe what I think. Hes tough as nails, Hell make it.
They stepped off the lift and walked a ways down the corridor, then into the sickbay. They saw that the other Romulans were already being treated. TRell also noticed the contingent of security officers, hands on their rifles as well. TRell not knowing who to speak to just spoke slightly louder than normal.
We need an emergency level white resuscitation.

DSG, Cory Taylors quarters

They had just finished unpacking. Cory was about to leave when Tessa pulled him back and handed him a PADD.
What is it?
Take a look.

To Whom it may concern, I would like permission to open a gaming association on Lvl 357 section 9. The Space appears to be empty. I Would like to start an after hours sort of club where the officers and crew could come to wind down after the day. My thoughts are good clean fun. No gambling involved. Games involved would be a wide variety from across the quadrants.

Feel free to contact me anytime,
Tessa Plymouth

Well, what do you think?
It certainly looks good.
So youll deliver it for me?
I can deliver it, its up to them to decide if its something worth doing.
Something worth doing? Didnt you look around on the way in here? These people need a social place to gather and tell stories.
They could do that on the holodeck or In their quarters. Tessa only glared at him.
Alright, Ill deliver it.

Cory left his quarters and entered the nearest lift.
OPS.

DSG, OPS

Several minutes later the lift stopped. Cory got out and looked around. It looked just like the bridge of a Starship, Only bigger. Cory approached a man sitting next to a console. He cleared his throat and spoke.

Ensign Taylor, Chief Astrometrics officer, Reporting onboard.

The area around Grey looked like a battle zone. Conduit piping, data chips, and other assorted materials were pulled from bulkheads, consoles, the floor, etc. He had essentially dissected the ship in order to get control of her again.

"Captain," Grey said, "I'll point out that we're pretty vulnerable here. We should do what we came to do before anything else goes wrong."

General Selas office, Romulus

Ditex had taken her by surprise for the last time. She wanted him stopped. That database hed taken was worth thousands of bars of latinum. If he planned to sell it her plans would be ruined. Although, if hed showed it to anyone she most likely wouldnt be here now. There was a beep at the door.

Enter. Her assistant entered carrying a PADD. He handed it to her.
What is it?
I cant decrypt it.
Dismissed. The assistant bowed slightly and left the office. Sela ran the PADD through a decryption algorithm. It contained an active data file. A message. She downloaded it into her computer and played it back.

Ditex appeared on the screen.

Youve made a terrible mistake. For that I Have this to say. For every pain you visited on my wife it shall be dealt back to you tenfold. Your days on Romulus are numbered.

The message ended.

((And so return Robitaille and Dagenais with my reluctant return from tropical paradise. According to Founder, Dagenais and Stone followed the coordinates of the site-to site transport and Blake's in his office, so I'll pick up from there))

~ Hallway, Deep Space Guardian ~

Their pursuit had been tedious. This man was obviously a trained individual to be able to evade them for such a long distance, along with knowing how to use a dampening field. However Dagenais was quick enough to catch the coordinates from the reminence of the transport and was able to follow the transport, only, placing himself outside the room for safety precautions. The room was a private quarters according to schimatics, the man was probably prepared for the two officers so Pierre did what he thought was best and called for a little help.

"Dagenais to Robitaille, would you pleace come to my location along with two other officers," Dagenais asked his superior, "Myself and Lieutenant Stone are outside some private quarters where we have trapped an invidual wanted for assaulting both a citizen of the station, Lt. Stone, and evading arrest."

~ Robitaille's Office, Deep Space Guardian ~

Blake was sitting in his office both relaxing physically and stressing mentally. He was in a fairly comfortable position, leaning back on his chair with his feet on the desk while reading over the profile of a certain half Romulan crewmember who's father is a known Tal Shiar. Surprising he hadn't been purged yet being that Starfleet found out. That was never good. Who knew what kind of connections this Kiris Ditex could possess. A close eye would have to be kept on him at all times...

Blake thoughts were interupted by the call of his right hand man and friend, Lieutenant Dagenais.

"I'm on my way," Blake said after tapping his badge and responding.

As Blake left his own personal office and entered the larger security office he pointed to the first two officers he saw to follow him as they made their way out of the Security HQ and down the turbolift to the coordinates of Dagenais. They arrived several moments later, hand phasers ready. Blake looked at the door...

"Security override, Robitaille Beta-9-Delta..."

And the doors opened...

Alicia rose her phaser rifle to the ready position. She had an urge to run in, but that would be stupid, aside from the fact that her superior officers would be the one to make the entery. She narrowed her eyes, and readied her self for anything.

~ Hallway, Deep Space Guardian ~

James was out of the way of the 5 starfleet officers. However, He didn't feel like being the odd one out his time. He Drew one of his Pulse Pistols,Which was simply a much smaller version of the pulse phaser mounted on Defiant class ships. He waited behind the group of officers, They would etner first, then again, they wouldn't have it any other way. James would Ethier stay out here out of sight form whoever was inside, Or become a human wall in place of the door, whichever he choose depende don what happend next.. "Think he'll come out peacefully?" James asked Blake sarcasticly.

Shuttle, Approaching DSG

Kayal Aylin looked out the window at the large federation space station. Her journies had been long and unpredictable, her life changed course with little warning, and it all brought her back here. She'd visited the station months ago when things were only just starting to really get serious in the war. Now the war was on, and women like her were needed at their best. Her best, however, could only be shown when she had access to a decent laboratory and a space craft. That's why they sent her away from earth.

The pilot was a polite man, but he didn't say much and neither did Aylin. Aylin was an oddity, half-Bajoran and half-Cardassian, obviously alien. She never felt torn, though, and she could thank her parents for that. "This is Lieutenant Farrus," the man began as they drifted closer to the station, "Requesting docking at Deep Space Guardian."

Nautolian Shuttle

Aia glanced over at Grey, huddled up under a mess of... stuff. Aia didn't find any use in identifying the stuff, only to recognize that it was somehow important. She'd never talked to Grey much in the past, but he seemed a curious man indeed. You'd have to be fairly curious to spend your days with mahines. Machines don't squirm when you prod them, after all.

Aia sighed, exercizing the well-earned ability of pilotting the shuttle. "I certainly wouldn't mind getting this over with." She murmured almost to herself, "Give me a trilithium-free boat any day."

General Selas Office, Romulus

Sela pressed a button on her desk. She began to go over what Ditex had said. Her assistant came in and stood at attention.
My days on Romulus are numbered.
I do not understand General. Sela looked at the assistant in dismay.
Fool! Ditex knows about the weapon. He wouldnt have left this message if he didnt.
How could he possibly know?
He copied the entire database and destroyed the backups.
If he knows about the weapon why didnt he take the ship too?
He wouldnt have been able to get the ship out undetected. All he needed was the schematics for the weapon. Hes probably already told the Federation or the Rebels. Then we must act fast.
How long until the ship is complete?
Ten days at the very least and thats working around the clock.
Ten Days? I thought that it was supposed to be done by now?
That was before the attack on the TPar ship yard. The Ship suffered some damage.
The Disruptor array?
Still functional. Itll be able to cut through shields and Transport inhibitors.
Inform me of when the ship is fully repaired.
The assistant nodded and exited the room.

-DSG, OPS-

Several minutes later the lift stopped. Cory got out and looked around. It looked just like the bridge of a Starship, Only bigger. Cory approached a man sitting next to a console. He cleared his throat and spoke.

Ensign Taylor, Chief Astrometrics officer, Reporting onboard.

Jones looked over at the new officer. He was replacing their old chief astrometrics officer, an oddball at that.

"Welcome to DSG," He said, "You can report to astrometrics if you're ready."

He turned back to his console and saw a message coming through.

"Lieutenant Farrus," He said, "You're free to dock at landing pad T."

-DSG, Sickbay-

The Doctor noticed the large influx of patients rushing in. Sickbay was about to be packed with people.

"Mr. Ditex," He said to Kiris, "If you would like, we will move you to another ward in the medical deck. We're about to be bombarded in here."

-Nautolian Shuttle-

With minimal power restored, Ian continued their course. Thankfully, they had not been far away. The ship yards was within eyesight. Nautolian ships were all over the area, crawling around the space like insects.

"Its time to end this..." He said.
