Shuttle

Relieved the admiral had left things to Ian, Aia sagged a little and looked over at T'Sa. "This means I don't get to see my quarters for a little while longer, doesn't it?"

-USS Scimitar, Bridge-

Archer sighed and sat back. All they could do now, is wait. He nodded.

"Continue with repairs and construction..."

Archer looked over to Tolox.

"how are you doing with the com line?"

-DSG, Corridor-

Jones nodded and turned to head back to Ops

-Shuttle-

T'Sa nodded. "I'm afraid not..." She squinted as she studied Aia.

"It seems...we have time to got to sickbay at least...." T'Sa looked down for a moment. She just wanted this suliban disguse gone.

"That is, captain Xavier mentioned it on his way off the shuttle...."

Kiris took the PADD and looked at it. The specs were very nice. With a few modifications it would be even better. Thank you ensign. Ill study these schematics in more detail at a later time. Thank you. Saber Class, a lot of fire power under the hood for her size.

Shuttle

Aia brightened, her fingers fiddling at her sides. She could barely contatin herself. "Does that mean... I mean..." She bit her lip, "I can wear a uniform again? I can collect a proper medkit?"

-DSG, Engineering-

The Zakdorn engineer nodded his head.

"The project is rather large," He said, "We've had so many setbacks with the war..."

-USS Scimitar, Bridge-

Tolox stared at her console, shaking her head.

"The communications takes a lot of power," She said, "We can either put power to the weapons and shields or communications."

-Shuttle-

T'Sa nodded, Aia was clearly, happy by this thought.

"Yes, Ms. Shoran." T'Sa's lips curled slightly, one would have to be paying attention, T'Sa was ever so slightly, smiling. "It means you can wear a uniform again..."

T'Sa got her cloak and put it on. She looked to Aia.

"Shall we?.."

-USS Scimitar, Bridge-

Archer sighed. Figures, it was important to talk to Ian.

"What will the effects be if we diverted power for a few minutes? not long... ten maybe?"

Shuttle

Aia nodded, smoothing the creases in her plain black uniform and beating T'Sa to the exit. She closed her eyes, taking a long breath. It felt so clean to be home again... to be safe. It had been so long since she felt safe she could scarcely believe it was true. "We shall."

-DSG, Sickbayt-

Several minutes after leaving the shuttle, the doors to sickbay opened, and Aia Shoran and T'Sa walked in. The EMH who was sorting vials looked to see who walked in and almost dropped what he was holding. He walked over.

"Doctor Shoran? is that you?"

-DSG, Corridor-

As Ian turned the corner, he noticed T'Sa and Aia walk out of the shuttle. He wanted to talk to Aia, about...everything. His eyes shut and he reached out, hoping her evolved abilities would sense his thoughts.

"I know everything," He thought to her, "Please...wait for me in my office."

His...message was interruped by Blake.

"Captain?" He asked.

Ian's eyes shot open in surprise.

"Yes commander?" He asked.

"I'm going to sickbay, then my office if you no longer need me. I'd like to be able to keep an eye on the criminal." He said, refering to Neo.

Ian nodded his head and continued to walk.

"Understood." He said.

I know we have. I served on the Advent. It was destroyed at Utopia Planitia. We lost a lot of good people. Kiris wanted to see this new ship. Ill be back shortly. Im going to look at the new ship. Kiris checked the PADD. I hope the captain doesnt get upset with me for doing this. Computer, site to site transport, Level 57 docking port 8. The transporter shimmered and whisked Kiris away.

Docking Port 8, U.s.s. Guardian-Under Construction

Kiris reappeared in an observation room overlooking Dock 8. The shell of the ship was finished but there was still so much left to do. Kiris was about to transport back when he felt a sharp pain in his head. It was head splitting. Ditex to medical bay, emergency. Kiris collapsed to the deck.

-DSG, Docking Port-

A medical team beamed to Kiris' location, ready to assist. A nurse immediatly rushed to the fallen man, scanning him with a medical tricorder. She injected him with a hypospray after closing the medical tricorder.

"This will stabilize him," She said, "But I want to get him back to sickbay."

She shut her medical case.

"Computer," She said, "Site to site transport, sickbay."

Both of them dematerialized...

U.s.s. Advent 2379

Kiris was about to go off duty for the night. The XO approached him. Joining the weekly card game kid? No thank you sir. The last time I played cards against you I ended up with double duty shifts for a week. Ill pass. Have it your way. The XO smiled and left the engine room. Kiris left the engine room and went to sickbay. Make it quick doc. Ive got holodeck time reserved.
You know if you dont have your monthly injections that nerve cluster will tear itself apart. Isnt there a way to permanately regenerate it? Unless youre planning on being assimilated, no. Something about you is unique. Human/Romulan Hybrids usually have no problems. I still cant figure out why some of the nerves in your brain seem to come uncoupled occasionally. The doctor injected Kiris with a hypo. Thanks doc. Kiris replied. Anytime. Kiris left sickbay.

-DSG hallway-

Merik was rapidly pressing buttons the wall mounted console trying to rewire it to serve his purpose. When he just about had the desired when he heard a noise behind him

He quickly shut down the station loosing all his progress and spun around he could feel his heart beating and was trying to fight a worried look from his face. He saw Captain Xavier walking towards him.

"Umm hello, sir." he said, almost grunting.

-DSG, Corridor-

Ian was surprised that Merik was able to recognize him through the Andorian disguise. Ian remembered that Merik was offered a chance to attend the mission, but he declined. He noticed the man looking slightly jumpy.

"Commander Neruul," He said to the Human/Romulan hybrid, "What are you doing?"

-DSG, Sickbay-

Nurse Frella, a Bolian, was working on Kiris, running hundreds of neural scans.

"His nerves in his brains are literally detaching themselves," She said to another medical officer, "I can't figure out why. I managed to stablize him, but he needs something more permanent..."

One of the officers brought her a PADD.

"This is his medical history," He said, "The chief medical officer of the USS Advent documented this actually."

She took the PADD and began to read the man's research.

U.s.s. Advent 2379-Sickbay

The CMO sat at the computer once again going over Kiris brain scans. Why did they continue to deteriorate? He could tell that the young man hated having to report to sickbay monthly for injections. It was only going to get worse with time. My wisecrack about assimilation seemed almost a necessity.
Doctor Strem to ensign Ditex. Go ahead doc. Please turn to the medical channel." A few seconds later Kiris appeared on a small screen in the CMOs office. Problem doc? Im afraid so. I finished my latest scans. and? Its getting worse ensign. I would like permission to put a special treatment into your medical files. What do you mean? Remember when you asked if there was a permanent way to fix the problem and I told you no, short of being assimilated? Your not suggesting I get assimilated? No, but it may become necessary to use Borg nanoprobes to repair the damage. Do I have to do it now? No, but the longer you wait the less chance itll work.
Who keeps nanoprobes around anyway? Starfleet medical and Starfleet security. Very well, put it in my medical file but only if it is absolutely necessary. The CMO nodded. Im sorry ensign. Its ok doc. The channel closed.

-DSG Corridor-

"Oh, I was," he stopped talking realizing he had no excuse. "I was just, checking to see if I could find someone.."

After he said he realized how stupid it must have sounded.

"I have to go, sir..." Merik said rushing off before the captain could realy say much more than goodbye.

Merik stepped into the turbo-lift and leaned against the wall.

"That was too close..." he muttered to himself...

-DSG, Corridor-

Ian watched as the Hazard Team leader left in a turbolift. He looked over at the console to see nothing wrong.

"You're getting paranoid in your old age." He told himself.

He kept walking, wondering if Aia had heard him...

-DSG, Sickbay-

Nurse Frella continued reading until she read something rather disturbing. The so called "cure" the chief medical officer of the Advent was pushing for.

"Borg nanonprobes?" She said.

One of the medical officers, while monitering Kiris, looked at her in shock.

"What?" He asked.

Frella held up the PADD.

"Borg nanonprobes maybe his only hope," She said, "Starfleet rejected the idea back then since not enough information was present, but since the return of Voyager, the ship's doctor has made leaps and bounds with the idea of using Borg nanoprobes to heal people. There are only three people I can to with this information..."

"Who?"

"Doctor Roberts, the Emergency medical hologram of Voyager, and Seven of Nine." She said.

Home of Kiris Ditex-2356

Laura McKnight had been looking forward to a day off for once. She was just getting ready to leave when there was a knock at the door. She opened the door to see Kiris and the principal of the school. Is there a problem? Im sorry to bother you Mrs. McKnight but your son here was caught tampering with playground equipment. Laura looked at Kiris. Go to your room. But mother Not another word, your room, now. Kiris went to his room. He heard the voices talking back and forth. Finally the principal left and Laura came to Kiris room.
Do you want to tell me why you disabled the stabilizers on the playground equipment and caused a classmate to break his arm? Kiris only looked into the floor. Well? He called father a Romulan spy. So you endangered the entire playground to get even? Kiris proceeded to explain. Hes been saying other things too. Such as? Him and some of the other students say he only married you so he wouldnt look suspicious. They say hes only using you. and you believe them? I dont know.
Well, Ill admit that your father isnt around much but that doesnt mean hes a spy. Hes always been there when I called him and hes involved in vessel maintenance. If he was a spy, there isnt a maintaining technique we know that the Romulan Empire doesnt. I guess so. Laura stood up. Youve been restricted from using the playground equipment and youll no longer be permitted to use the classroom tools unsupervised. I understand. Come on, I was going to see your father before I went out today anyway. Well see him and then well go Skydiving. Kiris smiled and stood up and they both left to see NTran.

James Ate his fill then got up and headed to his quarters. He Took the long way around to the docking port to see if any ships met his eye, He thought he saw one, but with all the stations tech crawling over it he couldn't make out what kinf of ship it was. this annoyed him somewhat and he moved on past what looked to him like a blue bipeadal bug. He didn't pay much attention to that part of his classes. mainly becuase he was slepeing at the time. He finally made his way to hi quarters and decided to go to sleep, Takeing one of his pistols and placeing it under his pillow. He then placed the remain weapon and the belt on which it made it home, on the chair. James then laid back on the bed an tried his best to sleep.

DSG, Sickbay

Aia raised an eyebrow. There was an EMH taking care of her patients, now? She shook her head. "Doctor Aiasjia Shoran, at your service. It's good to be home," she admonished to the hologram's benefit. She slowly began inspecting the room, her frown growing as she went. There was a nurse in the corner, organizing the hypos. She turned the corner and stood beside her. "O'Harrah!"

The short, red-haired nurse dropped what she was doing and turned around. She gasped. "Doctor Shoran!"

"What's happened to my sickbay? It's a mess." Aia said, ignoring all niceties. "I suppose you remember how I like it kept?"

"We didn't... Aiasjia, we didn't think you'd be coming home. Not to here. You're still-"

"Yes, I'm your CMO again. Now, get Captain T'Sa back to however she would normally look. And after that I want you to pull Harvey in here, and by the time I get back from my mission I want this sickbay looking like mine again." She nodded over to T'Sa, "Get started."

She turned, smiling to herself, and returned to her office, murmuring over her shoulder. "I missed you."

O'Harrah hid her own smile, fetching a dermal regenerator as fast as she could. "I'm glad you're home, ma'am."

Once inside her office, Aia began downloading the medical records since her absence onto a PADD. She looked at her desk in spite. Julianna had no doubt taken it over after she left. She sighed deeply, squatting down under the desk and removing from a compartment a spare uniform she had kept there, for the long nights she often worked in sickbay. She changed under the desk quick as she could, curling up around her shins and sitting a moment. She would have to do a lot of rearranging to make it home again, and Julianna would have to get used to it. She was home again.

T'Sa went to a bio-bed and sat on it. She looked over to the person on one of the other beds. He had some romulan features it seemed. T'Sa found that facinating, as many Romulans, or half Romulans were not always the best recived people, due to paranoria. She sighed quietly, waiting for the procedure to begin.

Unknown Romulan Ship-Unknown Territory

TRell was grateful to be back in a familiar place. He hadnt liked the idea of toting about cloaked so near Federation territory. He stopped at the briefing room and saluted the guards outside. I will see Admiral NTran. Of course sir. The Guards stood aside. You returned, alive, see TRell, I told you there was nothing to worry about. If you say so sir. Did you speak with my son? Yes. You delivered the message? Yes sir. Tell me, how did he seem? Hes grown since the picture you gave me. Id like to see him, I dont suppose you got a picture? As a matter of fact I did. TRell handed NTran a PADD. NTran looked through photos.
I apologize for the poor resolution, but they were taken through his Runabouts cockpit window and its not easy taking good photos at warp speed. Theyre fine old friend. Do you know where hes been stationed? A Federation Space Station called Deep Space Guardian. I want you to take another message to him. Sir, It was difficult enough to avoid detection the first time. That station has state of the art sensors, they probably have tachyon sensors oh, and lets not forget the weapons of a station that size. NTran smiled weakly. Commander TRell was a good officer but often to reserved.
NTran got up and pulled something from a drawer in another desk. Take this. TRell took the device. What is it? Plug it into your communication array, it should allow for a 5 light year boost in the signal of the Synaptic Transceiver. If you are detected at least youll have a chance to run. NTran also handed TRell another PADD containing the message

DSG, Sickbay

When Aia stood, she could catch from the adjacent window a man laying on a biobed next to T'Sa, who was looking more and more like a Vulcan again. Intrigued, she looked down on her uniform triumphantly and proceeded to the nurse, a Bolian who must've transferred over since she'd left. She leaned against the biobed, a fleeting glance at the Romulan. She was tempted to probe his mind, but she let it go for the moment.

"I'm Doctor Shoran," she introduced herself briefly. O'Harrah looked up at the sound of the name, still shocked to see her superior return. "What have we here?"

(OOC: A little harsh, eh? I didn't know that Juliana was that untidy. BTW? Juliana is still the CMO at the moment.)

DSG, Sickbay

Juliana had immediately headed for Sickbay after exiting the shuttle. To her suprise, Juliana found Captain T'Sa and Doctor Shoran already in the room. And, what suprised Juliana even more, was that Doctor Shoran was wearing a uniform and...attending to her patients. What the hell did she think she was doing?

Juliana marched forward, still in the Farian disguise. When she approached the Captain and the other doctor, Juliana cleared her throat, to announce her arrival. Hoping to have their attention, Juliana looked over to Doctor Shoran.

"Excuse me, Doctor." Juliana said, politely, not wishing to make a big deal out of the situation. "But...What do you think you're doing?" Juliana asked, with a fake smile. "As I recall...I'm still the Chief Medical Officer around here. Not you." Juliana sighed, after speaking her mind.

(Exalya, you missed my post. Ian called telepathically called out to Aia. )

-DSG, Sickbay-

Ian walked off of a biobed just as he heard Julianna correct Aia's error. He noticed the woman sitting, already in a Starfleet uniform.

"Doctor Roberts is correct," He said, "You are not the chief medical officer. Lets take a walk, shall we?"

The EMH had already restored him to his Human form, but he was still dressed in the thug clothing.
