PostWed Jun 14, 2006 9:43 pm    which borg queen do you like more

hey whats up guys, i was watching voyager, one of the two parters with seven going back to the borg, and i just thought that this borg queen is no where near as good as the one in first contact. i dont know for sure why i like the first one more, maybe because she was first, or maybe i just liked the sultry accent but i'm just curious, which borg queen do you like more, and tell me why

Doesn't matter. I like Alice Krige better (The first), but Susanna Thompson did quite well as a replacement. But at least they were able to get the first Queen for the finale...Endgame.

First: You're welcome, I do my best to be the best that I can in knowledge and reference to Trek...

Second: How did I make you look like an amature?

Alice Krige, all the way ! Oh, I love Susanna Thompson, but I like sticking with the same actress all the way through.....unfortunately, Alice couldn't be talked into doing the eps that Thompson ended up in on Voyager, but she did Endgame...and I'm glad for that. Nevertheless, I love Susanna Thompson, excellent actress !

It's not that she couldn't be talked into doing more episodes as the Queen, but it's that she was busy with other projects every time they needed her. But as I said, I'm glad she wasn't busy for "Endgame."

I think Sussanna did a much better job than Alice Krige

I think the crew of STVOY did a much better job killing Alice rather if they would have had Sussanna

The best explanation is in Christi Golden's "Homecoming" and "The Farther Shore." Although it's NOT canon, it's the best explanation that makes sense. And if you want to get technical, the Borg Queen first died on the Cube in "Best of Both Worlds pt II." So she died for the 2nd time in First Contact... She did after all tell Picard in "First Contact" that "You think in such 3 dimensional terms." Meaning there is obviously something that we don't know about the "creation" of the Queen(s).

Good explanation, I'm glad you beat me to it !

I would agree with Miss Golden's interpretation of the Multiple Borg Queen Syndrome...lol.
