Well this isn't really because of a lack of posts, but of a lack of membership. We're obviously doing ok with posting. RPGs are on a decline on this site, yet but not everywhere else.
As for everything else you said, I can understand that. Which is why I'm not making any moves now, I assure you.
As for what Ziona and Lord Borg said, that is another thing. The site's "child friendly" rules can get in the way. Although, I'd like to clarify that I'm not saying in the other site, there were would be vulgar language or adult nature stuff. I still want it to be Trek. Just darker like DS9, not so fluffy like VOY.

I do agree that the child-friendly rules can get in the way, here on STV. And, it would be nice to go in a more adult-direction (but, not TOO adult, like Founder stated), like DS9, instead of the kiddy VOY...
Although...I'd still like to remain here. Unless, if the site doesn't work out, we can return here...Then, I'd be fine with it...

Well, sadly, if DSG moved it wouldn't be able to be moved back. I dont see it dying honestly. It has the potential to expand. (On its own site)

I think it would attract more people on a new site. Alot of people are hesitant to join this site, I think, because it's so spread out over so many sections. I, personally, could recruit a few to join DSg if it moved off of STV.

Yeah, I probably could recruit to, if DSG had it's own site.

As could I.
I do agree that if DSG left, it wouldn't be allowed back. It is a lot of work to set a front page RPG up. I wouldn't make anyone do it all over again.
As Ziona pointed out, DSG's membership suffers because when people come to this site, most of them at least, they come to join a forum, not an RPG, about USS Voyager.

I didn't join because of Voyager...I joined because of the RPG forums...
Still...Is DSG gonna remain in "episodic" format? 'Cause, I heard LB talking about breaking it down into sections and I was like; "hell no"...So...what's the good word?

I joined because of Trek and World News (primarily world news). I just found my way to the RPGs and started RP'ing, for the first time, at STV. When I found DSG here I loved it. I, personally, think DSG defines RPGs at STV, and to that definitive RPG lost to STV...I don't like that thought, either.

Reason other then not wanting to go to antoher site? because...honestly thats not a real argument to make us stay...not when three people just said they could recruit with DSG having its own site.

Well as I said, MOST people, not ALL, join for Voyager. The fact is, not many people join this site looking for RPGs. Not that I blame them, this site wasn't made to be an RPG site. Its just a nice addition.

I don't agree with the sentiment that most join for Voyager. If you look around the forums you'd find that most people don't rank Voyager as their favorite. At least, I haven't seen most state Voyager as their favorite. Sure, they're drawn to the site looking for primarily Voyager stuff, but I don't think that that's why they join.

Yes, but most certainly don't join for RPGs. If you've noticed, the RPG area is pretty much dead.

Hold on a second. You have two DSG members who joined for RPGs, though. You've got La Forge and Hitchhiker. I recruited Tach for RP'ing, and that's why he joined. You've just read La Forge's testimony that he joined due to RPGs as well. If you have two members that joined for RPGs, and they're members of DSG, that says something.
Besides, it's more often DSG members that you see on STV anyways. There's hardly any activity at all, not just with RPGs. It's a site thing, not an RPG thing.

I've seen a lot of non-STV names on as well, but not often. And they're not usually accompanied with too many posts. Look, right now we have DSG members only on. Exalya, La Forge, Lord Borg, Republican_Man. All four of us are members of this RPG.
Look, you guys are hell-bent on moving to another site anyways, so any discourse is pointless.
Founder, it's your RPG. Move it to another site if you want. I hate going to other sites for things, with the comfort level at STV and all, but I'll do it for DSG. You pretty much have your mind made on doing it, so just start working towards it. How you're going to transfer all the episodes to me, though, when I, for instance, go back to them for reference all the time, is beyond me. That's one thing you have to consider before moving. I continually look at past episodes for resources, etc. and I don't think I could get along without it, unless you chronicle every detail

We're "hell-bent"? What is with some members of the RPG always being so over dramatic?
Hell-bent would have been me, turning off your ability to post within the RPG until it was moved to the other site. Hell-bent is not posting a topic to get other people's much appreciated opinion...
As I already said, I will not be moving DSG. However, I will be creating this other site and it will be presented, but not before it is completed and perfected. Even then, I will still not move anything until I have the complete agreement of everyone in the RPG. I won't alienate this crew in an attempt to get strangers.

Oh, okay. My bad, as they say I didn't notice you said you won't be moving the RPG. My apologies, then.
And okay, setting up another site is cool. What kind of site would you make, and what would it include? I should be able to create another Wiki site (the last one being hacked) if you wanted such a thing. I think a Wiki site for DSG is the coolest thing

Why a wiki? We would use a forum with a front page type of thing.

But I thought Founder said he wasn't moving DSG? Why get a forum if you're not moving the RPG itself?

Uh... He said we'd set it up and SHOW everyone what it'd look liked. No, we dont need a Datbase on a second site, and sorry RM? but andy runs the rpg, he should control all aspects, datbase or no.

Okay, fine, whatever. There'd be ways to give us both the same exact admi powers and account, though, for administrative-only duties, but meh. I'll just say this now: I don't give a rat's behind about how the site looks. It's not going to change my mind about whether or not we should RP at another site.

Hhmm...
I'm beginning to believe it was not the best of ideas to present this so early. It seems some of the crew on DSG have already made up their minds about this. Seems rather close minded if you ask me.
You are of course free to not want to join. Won't stop me from making the site, nonetheless.
As this topic no longer serves a purpose and seems to be getting some people rather angry, I will be locking it. It will return in the future, when I present the idea with a forum to back it up. For now. DSG stays on STV. If membership suffers, then so be it.
