well, if yr talkin abt BTP then it is warp 9.9999 whereas SLIPSTREAM is at WARP 9.99999 i got this from a star trek guide book
The term used by the borg 'transwarp' in my view is just used as warp 9.9999 is very fast and in dark frontier janeway had to spend a few minutes in a transwarp conduit b4 gettin back 2 voyager.......but in hope & fear tuvok and tom travels 15LY in a matter of secs..........so which one are u talkin about |
I dont know, but its a matter of distance, and I really doubt they got there (15LY) in a matter of seconds... if they did, VOY screwed up again...

It was probably along the lines of around or just under 60 seconds that they were in Slipstream...

if i am correct borg transwarp is almost like slipstream, slip stream is a different form os transwarp, but i think its faster?
Warp 10 is beyond fast, its travellin the universe in the matter of wat, minutes, wat Tom Paris did, in Warp 10 Episode, which i liked very much, its jsut hard to go that fast, cuz we all kno wat happened to Tom Paris.
didnt Voyager also have a Qauntium slip stream , in a diff epidose, that didnt work or some thing, cause of displacement of space.
Humanity will blow them selfs up trying to reach warp speed now.

I don't think the writers and producers were expecting you to sit there and ask which was faster or not. Great discussion though. Next best thing to a manual sometimes.
