[Provisional RPG] Black Mesa

[Tremiles]

For the half-life fans out there this RPG takes place long before the incident in Anomalous Materials, before their was an anomalous materials department�.

You will a collection of scientists and security personnel, black mesa has attempted to create a transporter, but it keeps transporting people and things to a hostile alien planet. The teams job will be to attempt to discover why the transporter keeps transporting things their and how to get the transporter to redirect back to earth. So that things quit ending up on this planet.

Dear to whom it may concern,

You may not have heard of the job opportunities offered at the Black Mesa Facility, but we have heard of you. We thank you for your interest in joining the Black Mesa team. You have been accepted into our employ and we are preparing for your arrival. You of course will be required to live on facility and will have to sign a confidentiality paper before seeing the complex. We hope this will not be a problem. Your room will be fully furnished all you will need to bring is yourself. A train will be waiting for you at the cargo platform of the Albuquerque train station at exactly 10:00 am. Show the porter this letter and he will escort you to the security booth were you will fill out the confidentiality form before boarding the passenger car.

Age/description: 32 year old male, 5'10" with a slight belly and thick glasses, dark hair and dark eyes, electrical burn scar on the back of his right hand
Degrees/qualifications: PhD in molecular physics, Masters theoretical physics, Masters applied mathematics, Bachelors engineering, Bachelors theoretical quantum mechanics.
Bio: Tremiles loved school, maybe too much, he probably wouldn�t have left except for an intriguing letter he received from the Black Mesa Research facility, the facility had already been around for a few years when Tremiles joined the staff. It had many classified projects going on. Tremiles was put second in charge of a project to create a transporter that could transport objects and humans to anywhere on the planet, after 5 years they had seceded in creating a prototype machine only their test subjects (monkeys) would enter the machine and disappear , even with tracking devices they couldn�t find them so they decided to send a robot, then another, when they opened the portal to send the third one thru the first on came back thru with startling footage of an alien planet. More tests showed that no mater wear they aimed the device the portal would open near an aria filled with large crystalline structures. They would have to send a team to find out why, but first they had to come up with a team.
