DSG, Deck ?, Cabin 313

T'Sa sighed as she went in. She took all the bags and set them as far away from the door as she could. She then removed her jacket and set it on the bed, and took the romulan jacket, and tossed it aside. She then removed the rest of her clothing and went into the bathroom and steped into the shower. She activated the water mode and set it to the right temperature. She gasped as the hot water hit her body. Finaly...after a day, more like two before bathing. She closed her eyes and enjoyed the heat of the water. It was...decent. Several minutes later, she exited and dried off. Going to a bag, she took out some clothing she used for sleep wear. Sleep...not long, just a few minutes. She laied down on the bed, and closed her eyes.

DSG, Marine Deck

Melina exited the Turbolift, out into the Marine Deck.

After a moment of searching, Melina spotted the two Captains; Captain Xavier and Captain Archer, in conversation, a few feet in front of her.

Melina hesitated before approaching the two.

"Ah!" Melina announced herself, after a moment of deliberation. "I've found you, at last."

Melina looked to Captain Xavier.

"It is good to see you, again, Captain." Melina said, happily.

Melina then looked to Captain Archer.

"Oh...Captain Archer." Melina began, not as happy as before. "It is...good...to see you, again, too." Melina said, at length, wanting to kick herself for her words.

DSG, Taylor's Quarters

Shanna walked into her quarters and put Shoni to bed. SHe didn't hear her quarters doors open and close. Shanna sat on Shoni's bed and sang her a Cheyenne lullaby. When Shoni was asleep, Shanna got and turned around to be face to face with a person from the USS. Enterprize. "OMG! Dee Dee." Shanna jumped into her best friend from the Uss Enterprize's arms, Cousuller Deanna Troi.

-DSG, Marine HQ-

The marine deck was packed with marines and security officers. Ian had to push his way through to see what was going on. The marines, every single one of them, were being arrested. For once, they were not resisting, fighting tooth and nail. They accepted their fate and simply left with dignity. Ian wondered just why they were being arrested and with Archer and Alexander being so damn cryptic, he would never know until he saw it himself. Before he could enter the corridor he was sure was not there before, Melina approached him. Ian looked over at her, visibly tired.

"Colonel," He said, "I left you in charge and...I return to find all my marines under arrest. What is going on?"

DSG, Marine Deck

Melina hung her head, almost in shame, to the Captain, shaking her head, in dismay. This had happened under her watch...This was all...her...fault...Not to mention the memories...This day couldn't get worse.

"Maybe you shouldn't have left me in charge, Captain..." Melina whispered, grimly.

A moment later, she rose her head and looked at Captain Xavier, in the eye.

"Well...I suppose I had better tell you what has happened in your absence..."

Melina cracked the best smile that she could, for the time being. It happened to only be a obviously fake, faint smile. The most she could muster.

"It is quite a tale, if I do say so, myself..." Melina said, in a jokingly manner, to try and change the mood of the room, although, it didn't quite sound that way. Melina was too down for that...

Melina sighed and placed her hands on her hips, preparing to tell the long and ghastly story that she had been charged with telling.

"I don't know where to begin..." Melina muttered, trying to find the right words to say. "Well..."

Melina sighed, again, running her hands through her hair in frustration. She was flustered. The day had been quite straining.

"Here...I'll just get right to it, Captain." Melina said, at length. "Your Colonel Harfin Dicot has been torturing enemy prisoners behind closed doors without the proper permission." Melina explained, in one breath.

Silence. Complete silence. The only sound that Melina could hear was the sound of her own heartbeat. Being back down in this...hell-hole...was...painful, to say the least...melina didn't know how long she could stand the constant pain that she felt in her heart. Not just because of what had happened here...but...because of what had happened seventeen years ago...on that horrible, horrible day...the torture...Melina could never...NEVER forget...that day...And, being here...in this place...this evil place...just enforced that fact.

"Captain..." Melina said, after a long pause, to allow the words to sink in. "Maybe you should just see it for yourself..."

Melina rose a shaky hand and pointed down the hallway.

"Captain Archer can show you the way..." Melina added, softly.

Had he heard right? Dicot was torturing prisoners? Archer had accused him of that in the past, but no evidence had turned up. Apparently, he was right. Ian cast a sad look in Melina's direction and began to walk off. He didn't blame her or anything. This wasn't her fault. In fact, he should be grateful he didn't come back to a half destroyed station. The marines had rebelled a long time ago and the death toll was horribly high. He walked past the security officers and defeated marines. Ian noticed Blake standing at the doorway, standing guard over something. He walked past him, not saying anything but judging by the disturbed look on his face, it was bad in there. He saw medical officers huddled over dying prisoners. Cardassian and Nautolian a like. They were completely mutilated. The smell in the room was just...horrible. Ian covered his mouth to prevent him from throwing up. He took a step backwards, nearly stumbling into Archer. Dicot was a sick, sick individual. Ian couldn't even stand to be in that room, not just because of what was in there, but the smell. The bottom of his shoes squished the bloodied carpet. Ian turned and walked out into the corridor, gasping for normal air. He didn't even say anything to Archer, Blake, or Melina. Ian wanted to go back to his office and lock the door. No...not his office. His quarters. It would be safe in there, quiet too. Ian still had to deal with Ziona's father, but he knew if he saw Dicot, he would find it hard to restrain himself. Thanks to T'Sa though, restraint was the one thing he knew well. Ian rushed past the security officers and the marines, pushing them aside if need be. He entered the turbolift and called for the docking port...

Archer sliped in as the doors were closing to the turbolift. He stood in slence for a moment. He sighed. "I'm...sorry Ian..."

DSG, T'Sa's Cabin

T'Sa's head jerked slightly as she awoke. It had been a few minutes, all she really needed for now. She sat up and looked around, regaining her bearings. She finaly stood and went to the pile of bags and started at them a moment. She looked over to the computer screen as she started to reflect on the recent months, but more so, the recent days and the recent hours. She sat down at the desk, and prepared to open a channel to SI and Starfleet Command...

-DSG, Turbolift-

The lift ascended towards the docking port, its destination. Ian folded his arms and leaned against the wall. His uniform still had the large, blood soaked statin on the stomach. At this point, Ian did not care about such trivial matters. He looked up at Archer and shook his head.

"What are you sorry about?" He said, "I should be the one that is sorry. I didn't believe you about him."

He kicked himself for being so stupid about it. The signs were there, but Ian was so focused on getting Fito, that there were no other bad guys. He had forgotten his good judgement and that is something a captain can NEVER forget. It was the one thing they needed, the thing that seperated them from the other crew. The doors to the lift opened and he saw field marshal Andreas leading Dicot, the latter in restraints, towards the Akira class starship. Ian quickly approached them, careful to avoid eye contact with Dicot. The Pendari, crass as always, smiled and looked at Ian.

"Captain Xavier," He said, "Glad your here to witness this."

He looked over at Archer, his smile never fading.

"You can kiss your commission goodbye Jonny." He said.

Ian ignored the remarks and spoke to the head of the marines.

"Sir," He said, "Will I be needed for his trial?"

DSG, Turbolift

Alexander Andreas sneered at Ian and gave him a rather cold look.

"I'll have someone inform you if you're needed for his trial." Andreas put a steady hand on Dicot's shoulder, almost a fatherly, comforting hand. He leveled a steely gaze at Archer as well. "I suggest, Captain Xavier that you keep your little... friends," at this he looked at Archer again with a cold, glacier look, "in check and not have them attacking my marines."

Andreas turned his eyes again on Ian and then back at Archer, drew himself up to his full height and gently guided Dicot towards the Akira class starship. Andreas made sure Dicot was inside the ship before he turned and looked at Ian again.

"I suggest Starfleet officers like yourself keep your business out of my marine's affairs. Heed that as a warning Mr. Xavier." Andreas spat, not even using the formalities of Captain for Ian's name. With that, Andreas climbed into the Akira class starship and disappeared.

-DSG, Docking Port-

Ian stared at the cold back of the field marshal with completely blankness. The man had pretty much threatened him if he ever tried to deal with the marines again. Ian felt it would be in his best interest and the station's interest, temporariliy, if he got rid of the marines. He watched the marines being led into the Akira class starship. All the marines on the station wouldn't fit on it. Transports would be needed to get the rest that remained here. Thankfully, that ordeal was finally over with. He hoped that Dicot got what he deserved but after witnessing the judicial system with Fito, he doubted it. Ian turned back and looked at Archer.

"I'll be in my ready room," He said, "ALONE."

With that, he turned and made his way back to the relative saftey of his office.

-DSG, T'Sa's Cabin-

T'Sa had sent a message to S:I on a secure channel. The link was established and a response was made. An old woman, African and a high ranking admiral, looked at the Vulcan.

"T'Sa," She said, "I must say, I didn't expect to hear from you this early."

Archer sighed as Ian walked off. He turned and went off in a differnt direction to find Reed.

-DSG, T'Sa's Cabin-

T'Sa hesiated a moment. She opened her mouth to reply but closed it. She looked down. "The mission...was compromised...." T'Sa puased again and looked at her supperior. "I was unable to maintain my cover..."

-DSG, T'Sa's Cabin-

The African woman looked sorely dissapointed with the news. She had come to respect T'Sa and expected much more than failure.

"I'm dissapointed," She replied, "We still needed an agent on Romulus. You're the only one who knows them so well. Although, this maybe a blessing in disguise. We don't have any concrete evidence or proof, but a contact on Cardassia tells us that plans for invading Romulus have been drawn up. If that is the case, the balance of power is going to shift considerably if Fito does this and wins. Perhaps it was good you got out of there, before this happened. We still need to ascertain if this is fact or fiction. We won't warn Romulus until then. Because if it turns out to be false, they will see it as a Federation scare tactic to force them into the war. Then we will alienate them. We don't want that."

The woman leaned forward into the screen.

"Did you get any information at all?" She asked.

T'Sa stayed silent as she was scolded. There was no logic in sitting there reminding her about her failures. T'Sa looked up when she was asked about the information. "I have a great deal of information on the Romulan Deployments, and what they do know of Fito..." T'Sa looked down. "I attempted to keep my cover...the ship I was on Captured Captain Xaiver..."

The admiral slowly nodded, surprised by the turn of events.

"I see," She said, "You look like you've been through a lot. We'll take the information you have and see about putting you backn in the field, under a different alias."

T'Sa's eyes widened for a moment, but went back to normal. She composed her self. "Respectfully, at this time...I feel a leave of absance from the agency and starfleet would be the best course of action..." T'Sa hated asking for anything, from anyone. She found it very uncomfortible, making request. "If you feel otherwise, I will of course, comply..."

-DSG, T'Sa's Cabin-

The admiral didn't speak for a few moments, letting the decision drift through her mind. A quiet sigh escaped her throat and she finally nodded.

"You've been on Romulus for months," She said, "You escaped the Tal Shiar, not an easy thing to do. I grant you leave. Take it as long as you want, unless we really need you of course. Nicely done captain. Please send the information you have through a secure channel to S:I. We'll contact you again. Admiral Bode out."

The screen changed to an image of the UFP symbol.

T'Sa nodded after the screen went blank, and as if she could still hear her speak. "Of course..." T'Sa stood and went to the bags and looked though some clothing. She picked out a typical Vulcan outfit, that had a red command division strip on it. After dressing, and placing on rank pips and her Com badge, she exited her Cabin and went to the turbo lift. "Ops" She said flatly. She stood with her hands behind her back as she waited for the lift to arrive. After several moments, the turbo car stoped, and the doors opend, T'Sa steped out and looked around.

T'Sa saw where Xaivers office was located, and she went to the doors, and gently tapped the announcement chime.

-DSG, Captain's Office-

Ian sat at his desk, drinking Romulan ale, something he had to get from a friend of a friend. It was one of the vices that Ian had. The chime on the door prompted him to quickly hide the ale and wipe his mouth of any residual moisture from the illegal drink.

"Enter." He called out.

Ian looked up at T'Sa, a tired look on his face. He motioned for her to take a seat.

"Not at all," He said, "Your always welcome here."

He had a glazed look in his eyes. Mainly from the intoxication of the ale.

"Want something to drink?" He asked.

~ Marine Deck, Deep Space Guardian ~

Blake had been talking to various security officers and answering the questions of different people such as doctors, marines, security, etc. Melina had been taken away for several hours but he noticed she had managed to find her way back. He didn't think that was overly intelligent on her part but oh well.

Blake watched as the Captain came in, looked at the room and rushed away. Obviously his stomach or mind couldn't handle it. He noticed the bloodied uniform and cocked an eyebrow. He shouldn't have looked like that from a routine gas extraction. He would talk to the captain about it later.

A man walked up to Blake, he was a man from the Marine Colonol's Akira class ship; a doctor. The man whispered something in Blake's ear. He was Section 31. They had worked together once before. Blake pulled him off to the side for a moment.

"At this point I cannot get to Harfin Dicot without compremising myself," Blake started, "The man knows my identity and threatens to reveal it upon his trial. I believe you understand the circumstances of such an occurance?"

"I do..." the doctor replied.

"I expect that this man is to be treated properly under your care, Doctor?"

"Oh, yes. He will receive nothing but the best treatment," the doctor replied.

"Make it look good," Blake said as he nodded to the man and sent him off.

T'Sa nodded and sat down and folded her hands in her lap. She looked to Ian, his eyes seemed glazed. "Anything but the Romulan Ale you have under your desk" T'Sa rose an eyebrow, in an almost scolding manner, but said nothing further.

Ian felt sheepish for trying to lie to T'Sa, his mentor. He had never gotten away with it as a child, a teenager, or adult. Trying to do that now was just foolish on his part. He sighed and closed his eyes, rubbing the inner bridges of his nose.

"T'Sa," He said, "I feel like garbage. I'm exuasted."

He leaned back in his seat and looked at her.

"I take it you've come here to tell me you're leaving." He guessed.

T'Sa looked down. "Actually I just got a leave from Starfleet..." T'Sa hesitated. The request moment again. She hated making request, she hated asking for things. It's Ian... She hesitated shyly as she opened her mouth to speak. "I...would like to..." She paused a moment. "Stay here for a while...."

Ian leaned forward, pleasently surprised by the turn of events. T'Sa? Living on the station with an Xavier? It would be a lot like old times. He nodded his head in affirmation to the answer.

"Of course," He said, "I'll set up quarters for you immediatly."
