DSG, Docking Bay
Nicodemus Errol Thiandrus stepped back onto Deep Space Guardian, after having been back to his home planet of Terra Nova for his parent's anniversary party. Nicodemus stretched his hands over his head and yawned slightly, sighing a sigh of relief. After a moment, Nicodemus finished his walk down the ramp and onto Deep Space Guardian's deck.
There was activity buzzing throughout the docking bay and Nicodemus wrinkled his nose slightly at the sight of all the marines. There was too much activity for his liking on this deck. Nicodemus shifted his shoulder bag and headed towards a nearby turbolift.
Once inside the turbolift, Nicodemus asked for sickbay. Everytime he returned home from one trip or another, he always checked into sickbay, just to make sure he hadn't picked up some virus along the way. It was a personal quirk of his and he did it like a ritual. The turbolift hummed on it's way up and Nicodemus stood, his hands clasped behind his back, humming lightly to himself and watching as the lights flashed in the turbolift. The turblolift began to slow and then stopped, the doors opening onto the corridor of DSG, right outside of sickbay.
DSG, Corridor
Nicodemus made his way towards sickbay and stepped in, smiling widely at the EMH who had been activated.
"Good afternoon, Doctor." Nicodemus smiled and saluted the EMH playfully. "Just got back from Terra Nova. You know the drill." He began rummaging through his pack and pulled out a couple of disks. "Thought you might enjoy these, Doc. A few books I don't think you have on file here... and a few interesting documents on a few species of aliens you haven't encountered quite yet in person." Nicodemus held out the disks to the EMH.

The EMH was surprised at the gesture. No one had...given him a gift before. "Thank you..." The EMH took the disk and set them on the trey. He took the tricorder and scanned the man. Nicodemus visited often for the check ups. If only the starfleet officers were this easy... The EMH sighed as a holographic breath was made. "You seem to be fine Mr. Thiandrus" The EMH smiled as the doors to sickbay opened. a feminine voice sounded, almost void of emotion. the EMH's program told him it was Vulcan. "Forgive me, you are busy, I'll come back. The EMH turned and looked, a Vulcan female was turning to leave. At least, looked vulcan, the pants she had on, and the jacket in her hands was Romulan. "None sense," the EMH started. "I'm just about finished, have a seat."
T'Sa turned and faced the EMH and nodded. The Doctor was scanning a male with dark skin. He looked Human, but one could never tell these days. T'Sa went to a bio bed and set her things down and sat down while she waited for the EMH.

Nicodemus turned and looked at the woman as she entered and smiled gently to her. He nodded in respect to her.
"(Greetings.)" He spoke quietly in Vulcan to her. "(I see you are a very respectable Vulan and yet you're attired in Romulan garb.)" He smiled again at her and watched as the EMH came back over to him to finish his scan. "Take care of the lady first." Nicodemus said. "I'm fine... however, I do expect to hear about those books I just brought you next time I come in."
Nicodemus laughed a carefree, youthful laugh and nodded to the EMH.
"Thank you again, Doctor. I'm sure I will be seeing you again soon." He turned to look at the Vulcan woman on the bio bed. "(I truly hope everything is alright... you seem a little bit pale.)"

T'Sa looked in surprise. He was...speaking Vulcan? That is an extreamly difficult Language to learn. "(Greetings..)" She seemed unsure. The EMH Nodded. "OF course, I will tell you of the books." The EMH shruged and went to T'Sa to start scanning, T'Sa explained to the EMH. "I just came from the starship, I had some...surgery.." The EMH nodded understanding what she was saying. The tricorder told him that cosmetic alteration was reversed recently T'Sa turned and answered the stranger. "(I am fine...I...was injured...)" The EMH nodded. "Everything seems in order, let me go get you a hypo to ease some of the discomfort." The EMH walked off for a moment, leaving the two people alone.

Nicodemus smiled and nodded understandingly.
"(The life of a Starfleet officer is a dangerous one, I can assure you I understand as much.)" He watched T'Sa for a moment. "(My name is Nicodemus Errol Thiandrus. I'm a civilian here on Deep Space Guardian and own a small restaurant called Star's End on the promenade. You don't need to give me your name if you wish to withhold that.)"
Nicodemus shifted his pack on his shoulder and smiled warmly.
"(I must be on my way, however. It was a pleasure to meet you.)" He bowed slightly to her before raising his hand in farwell. "(Live long and prosper.)"
With that Nicodemus turned and headed towards the exit.

T'Sa was caught by surprise again, as she was Saluted. It wasn't rare per se, but it wasn't often seen. She was told his name, and hesitated as he turned to walk off. "T'Sa..." She said in english. "My...name is T'Sa..." She returned the gesture. Star's End.... She said to her self memorizing the name. Perhaps it could be worth checking out, if they had good food that is. T'Sa lowered her hand as the EMH came back muttering. "Almost didn't find this, I really wish the nursing staff would return things to the proper position." He injected T'Sa then shruged. "That's it, your free to go." The EMH nodded to Nicodemus. "You to, have a pleasent day!" The EMH turned and went to his office. T'Sa narrowed her eyes for a moment then stood to gather her bags.

Nicodemus nodded to the Doctor and then turned to T'Sa.
"Well, T'Sa." He spoke quietly in English again. "You seem to have a lot of luggage. Is there anything I can do to help you?" He watched her carefully. "You seem in no condition to carry all those bags by yourself."

T'Sa hesitated. She really couldn't let anything happen to the items in the bag. Then again, Loggicly, he was right. She was in no condition to carry everything her self. She pointed to a couple of them. "You...could carry those..." T'Sa picked up the ones closest to her. Now it was time to find a place to store these, bags and a place to shower. She had to See Ian later on. He was busy at the moment though, she assumed. "I...have to rent a cabin..where is the rental office?"

Nicodemus picked up the bags easily and shouldered them without a problem.
"Rental office is down on the Promenade I do believe." He smiled at her quickly. "I'll show you." With that he motioned for her to follow him out the door and to the turbolift.

T'Sa puased for a moment then followed. Why was he being so nice? Not that it wasn't appreciated, it was, T'Sa decided she wasn't used to it. T'Sa spoke quietly. "Thank you for you;re assistance.." T'Sa stood for a moment while waiting for the lift to arrive.

Nicodemus smiled back at her over his shoulder.
"It's not a problem. Always here to help." He waited patiently for the life to arrive and then motioned her in before him. "I figure, I'm just a civilian on this station... the least I can do is help the officers who keep this station running and safe."
He paused a moment before speaking "Promenade" clearly.

T'Sa steped into the turbolift and waited as it moved towards it's destination. She nodded towards his comment. "It is...nice of you to do so, I am sure Captain Xaiver appricates your efforts." T'Sa looked strait ahead lost in thoughts. Suddenly she spoke. "Star's End...do you serve Vulcan dishes there?"

Nicodemus smiled and nodded.
"I serve everything there... and if I don't have it on the menu, I'll figure out a way to get it on the menu." He laughed another light hearted laugh and turned to look at T'Sa. "I haven't actually ever met Captain Xavier. I've seen him walking through the Promenade before, but I've never met him in person. He seems like a pretty nice guy though."

T'Sa nodded. "He's extordanary." She sighed quietly. She realized that the events of the day along with being on the Romulan ship had caused her to...smell. A Nice shower should do the trick. "I've known Captain Xaiver sense he was a child..." She fell silent. She was...making small talk? She never did this, or if she did it was rare, and only with people like Ian. "Perhaps I can come to Star's End later... if you serve Plomeek soup...." T'Sa wanted that, it was her favorit dish. Not much chance to enjoy it on a Romulan vessel, and the Replicators certainly did not do it any justice.

Nicodemus nodded quickly.
"I'll have it waiting for you." He watched T'Sa a few moments. "Well, I would definately like to get to know Captain Xavier... as he does keep my home safe and he does seem liek a rather extrodinary man." He sighed heavily. "I wanted to do Starfleet, you know." He looked out into the distance. "Couldn't do it though." He looked down at the floor and then at T'Sa. "Oh well, I still managed to be able to live on a station like this."

T'Sa nodded in response as the lift doors opend. She steped out first as she was near the door. She looked back to Nicodemus. "You don't have to wear a uniform in order to serve starfleet.." T'Sa was insinuating what he did, was in fact a service to starfleet, whether he noticed it or not.

Nicodemus laughed at this.
"Well, I never went through training and just being helpful to people on a station shouldn't constitute serving Starfleet. It's something everyone should do." He looked over at T'Sa and continued to walk deeper into the Promenade, stopping infront of a small alcove. "You can get quarters here."

T'Sa nodded and steped up to the Alcove. An andorian came up. "Help you?" T'Sa stated her needs. "I need a cabin for temporay lodgings...." The Andorian nodded. "Name?" T'Sa replied. "Captain T'Sa, starfleet." The Andorian looked up, his antennea bent in confusion. "You're here about a Cabin? You could get quarters..." T'Sa responded with out missing a beat. "I do not plan on being here more then a couple days if that long." The Andorian nodded. He entered information on a computer. "Two decks down, room 313." T'Sa nodded. "Thank you..." T'Sa turned to Nicodemus.

Nicodemus shifted his packs slightly and smiled.
"Let's get going. You look like you need some rest." He headed towards the turbolift and motioned for her to get in when it arrived. There was a few moments silence. "Captai T'Sa. Huh." He smiled to himself. "Well, ma'am, I didn't know I was in the presence of such a high ranking official."

Nicodemus laughed lightly.
"It's still ranks above me, ma'am. Ranks above half the people I run into on this station." He looked at T'Sa for a few moments before turning his eyes forward again. The turbolift stopped and Nicodemus waited for T'Sa to get out. "Seems like this is your level, ma'am."

"Indeed...." T'Sa noticed that Nicodemus was looking at her as they stood in silence. She blushed slightly. She steped out and looked back. "If you could...take them to my Cabin..." She gestured to the bags he was carrying.

((Oh, La Forge? They had already went to a turbolift.))
Archer continued as the two men, Jon and Ian exited the turbo car. "What is in there..." Archer stoped Ian and looked at him. "It's not pleasent on the eyes, or the nose..."

Nicodemus nodded.
"Of course." He headed down the hall with T'Sa and stopped in front of her cabin. He shifted the weight of the bags on his shoulders. "Well, here you are." He smiled quickly and helped T'Sa with putting the bags in her cabin. Afterwards, he exited and smiled back at her from the corridor. "Have a good day, Captain." He bowed slightly to her and turned on his heel, heading down the hall.
