6.3 Magnitude Earth Quake in Indonesia [ARTICLE]
A 6.3 magnitude earthquake has so far killed 3800 people and displaced over 200,000. The earthquake occured Saturday, UNICEF and the Red Cross are among the organizations that have mobilized their resources to aid the victims of this quake.

Yeah, I saw it on the news! Unbelievable.
I hope the Merapi doesn't erupt, that'll only make things worse...
And old friend of mine lives on Java, I hope he's ok.

I heard the death toll is already up to 3700. It's really shocking to wake up on sunday morning 11am and turn on the alarm clock radio to hear this on the news. Not as shocking as the families effected though i'm sure.

It now in the high 4000's. Indonesia never gets a break, distaster after distaster.
As my Geography teacher would put it "Thats the death zone"

Awful. Sometimes I'm glad I live in this country, we don't get natural disasters of any kind, except for minor floods.
