Manowar - I believe they are from Portugal.
Therion - Sweden I think
Amon Amarth - Sweden (They have some badass music without that beauty look they prefer looking like Rob Zombie.)

Def Leppard is one of the most influential metal band.
Musicians, Music Historians, and Metal Guys do consider them to be metal. That is just a fact.

Its not about what metal fans or Music historians think they are, its about what the musicians see themselves as. Its Hard Rock.
I'm sure they have made a few Metal songs, but its still a Hard Rock band.
Wiki says it too, Wiki is right.
Another example: Did you know the guys of Erth, Wind and fire don't call their music Disco? They said that their music came just around the time of disco so it was conssidderd disco, but they never meant for it to be disco.
Does this really mean it is a disco band?

Anything cosidered hard rock will sound like AC/DC or Led Zepplin.
Def Leppard is pop-metal just like Warrant, White Snake, and Winger. Its pop-metal.

The term pop-metal comes from the 80s it is the description of the big hair bands of the 80s.
Now would you please stop trying to beat my metal knowledge? I know too much about metal you do not.
Any bands with big hair & playing metal riffs & singing songs that are not about the devil are considered as Pop-Metal.
I know too much metal music because I have played it, I have studied it, and I can name hundreds of bands that are metal.
Now please stop trying to desicrate metal with your inaccurate facts.
