What its pretty much saying is U.S. soldiers murdered civilians. There is proof of it. An investigation is either going on in secret or not at all. Apparently, the civilians did not attack at all and there might be a cover up going on. This will REALLY hurt the Iraq war effort.

Ah...I see. There's always going to be SOMETHING to say our Soldiers did wrong. I really can't stand people that look for something everywheres to say they did something wrong.

So, why is this loser opening his mouth before the investigation is complete? Maybe he just wants to see us fail in Iraq. Maybe his political motivation takes a front seat to the wellbeing of our troops and our mission.
This is becoming borderline treason.

I am, to say the least, not happy with what Congressman Murtha did here.
First, he should know better, being a former Marine, than to go out there and accuse these soldiers--as he did--of not only committing this crime before the investigation was completed, but of killing innocent civilians in cold blood (his own words), basically accusing soldiers of blatantly murdering innocents before an investigation was undergone. Not good.
Secondly, if this is true, alright, fine. Prosecute the soldiers to the fullest, and punish these Marines appropriately, as occurred with Abu Graihb. But consider what broadcasting this story in the way Murtha did will do. It will only help to increase the amounts of terrorism and aide the terrorists in their propaganda campaign. A wise course of action by Mr. Murtha? I think not.
And finally, consider the fact that most wars have a lot more atrocities than this one. Iraq has brought very few instances of misconduct when compared to other wars. And yet the way the left in this country would like to make you think, it happens all the time, and this is one of the worst wars, in terms of misconduct and abuse, in American history, which, factually, isnt so.
If this is true, fine, okay, it should be out there for the American people to hear. But for a US Congressman to get out there, before the investigation is completed, and, for political reasons, broadcast this story is inappropriate and harmful to the American cause.
