Everyone I know who has seen it has loved (except for one person who apparently found it "not funny") it. The problem seems to be getting people to see it in the first place.

If it's still showing near you, go see it. If you havn't already, what are you still doing here? Go! Now! (OK, maybe not now since it's late but I want you up at the crack of Dawn tomorrow, on your way to the cinema!).

A few sci-fi people seem to be holding off on seeing Serenity because they hear so much praise about it and feel they have to stay loyal to their particular franchise. Obviously I, myself, am biased towards Firefly but I've heard people say along the lines of "It's not gonna be as good as Star Wars so why should I bother".

Just go see it people, give it a try - you don't have to throw away your love for other sci-fi things. Just go see it, enjoy it and have fun.

Is that the real thing?

It doesn't fit the poster theme if you ask me (either poster) - usually these things keep the same style throughout.

If I'm honest it looks like a computer wallpaper someone has put together on Photoshop...

God could River look any less like herself in that picture? Well, that's what you get for Photoshopping a photo like that... I agree, the cover is a bit too busy...

Do we think the Region 2 art will be the same?

Do we even know when Region 2 is out?

I have no idea. Perhaps you could google Serenity and see if you can find anything

I've gotten and watched the DVD. Very funny outtakes, and some really good deleted scenes as well. In addition to the good movie, of course.

I just got introduced to Firefly a few weeks ago and just Serenity last night. It was so good! I don't often get that intensified by a movie, I'm bummed I missed it on the big screen. It was so cool.

I keep watching it, it was just so good.

I wish it had been in the theaters for longer though.

Sam just turned me onto this show. It breaks my heart that it was so short-lived. The movie was good too... although it kinda pissed me off. But any form of art that can invoke strong emotions is good art in my opinion.

BTW did anyone else notice the cameo of a former Voyager on Serennity? I did. The girl who played Muzatti (I don't know how to spell it but the little borg girl,) played one of River's classmates.

Oh hey, I never noticed that Badger was Icheb's father! Fun.
