I was just curious about how often you all visited the official Star Trek site at http://www.startrek.com/startrek/view/index.html
When there was a lot happening in the world of Trek, like Enterprise and movie developments, I checked it every day, but with no Trek show currently in production, and a movie that hasn't even begun filming yet, I check only about once a week now. What about the rest of you?

I visit it everyday to see what the next episode of TNG, TOS and VOY is going to be. I also just like to browse around on there and read stuff

I rarely go there anymore cause STV is way better. But if I want to go just for information then I would go to startrek.com

Well, you can't really compare the two. STV is a forum, and a very good one, whilst Star Trek.com is the site for news and information.

I go on there usually once or twice a month to look at actor or episode information. I used to look on the site a lot more but now I don't really that much anymore. Since there isn't anything really new with Star Trek.

I don't like the setup of that site much... the navigation bugs me for some reason. I might visit 4 times in a year.

Not really... I just... don't get a welcoming sort of feeling going there. Go figure. The only reason I check it at all is for info on the upcoming Online game. I'm sooooooooo going to play that.

Interesting viewpoint. I wonder if anyone else thinks that. Or maybe you're just strange, Syd.

Well, I wasn't even on the internet back when Enterprise made it's debut. I only used the 'net for the first time in 2002, believe it or not. Yes, I'm getting old.

Ya, I hate the set up too!
I was going through Web Design my senior year when they changed it and when they changed it, we had JUST gone through "what makes a website a very well layed out and very poor layed out website."
Then I saw the new startrek.com and was like "This is a NOW poorly laid out website!"
Haha...

I think that it was due for an update then anyway. The navigation bugged me to start with, but I go like everday (It's one of my homepages) so I've gotten used to it.
I like it cause they have special reports and stuff and news and The Trek Life.
They're doing it up again anyway, in August I think.
One thing I didn't like when they did it up, was they took all these video interviews off. Like each person had like 5 interviews, and I lvoed them, but now they're nowhere to be found.

I miss the Klingon langauge section I was learning to speak it though that. I had a couple sentence narrowed down thanks to the format they were doing it in. They had the word, how to pronounce it, and then had an audio clip of the word
