-Middle Ages, Stairwell-

Jones nodded his head and rushed up the steps.

"Aye sir." He said.

Suddenly he felt an arrow ram into his chest. The artificial side of his chest. It didn't hurt him and was not strong enough to penetrate the metal.

"Hmm," He said, "What most curious feeling..."

-Middle Ages, North Tower-

Ian looked at her in shock.

"What are you saing?" He asked, "Hes a monster!"

He kept his phaser aimed at Bach. The old "God" did not make any move and remained slient.

Middle Ages, North Tower

Ziona reached out and touched Ian's hand holding the phaser, pushing his hand down and aiming the weapon towards the ground.

"I don't think he's... he's a monster." Ziona finally spoke. "He's just... he's just trying to make things better for us. He... he lost his wife, Ian... to a disease. He's just trying to make the world better for all of us."

(lol nice one Founder)

-Middle Ages-

Merik slammed his own body against the wall in case any more arrows were launched. Malcom may not be vulnerable to arrows, but Merik was. But Merik couldnt help but let out a laugh at Jone's comment.

"You okay?" Merik asked knowing the answer

He raised his phaser rifle as they continued up the stairs to see a group of guards with swords and bows.

Middle Ages, Stairwell

As Juliana ran up the staircase to the North Tower, where Captain Xavier was, Orb in hand, she had ran into two familiar faces; Jones, the cyborg and Merik, the Hazard Team leader.

"What the...?" Juliana thought to herself, obviously perplexed, as she stopped before them. "How did they get here?!?"

"Jones? Merik? What on Earth...?" Juliana asked, bewildered by the days events. She shrugged, not waiting for an answer. "Forget it!" Juliana snapped, pointing up, towards the North Tower. "Captain Xavier and Ziona are up in the North Tower, right now, with that mad archaelogist, Bach! We need to help them!" Juliana explained.

With that, she brushed past them and ran up the stairs, towards the top of the staircase, after Captain Xavier.

She needed to show him the Orb.

However, when she reached the top landing, with Merik and Jones on her heels, she was greeted by a group of Bach's men...armed with swords and bows.

"Not good..." Juliana muttered, under her breath, nervously.

-Middle Ages, Stairwell-

Jones nodded to Merik.

"I'm fine sir." He reported.

Julianna had rushed past them, carrying a strange device. Jones looked at Merik.

"What a messed up time period..." He muttered.

He followed after the young doctor.

-Middle Ages, North Tower-

Ian lowered the phaser at her behest. He looked at Bach, completely confused.

"Wha-?" He asked, not understanding the change in heart.

Bach knew he was defeated. This was the problem with the Starfleet officers. They were no longer on the space time continuum, so he couldn't stop them. They were his biggest threat. Bach took a step forward.

"If you'll drop your weapon," He said, "I'll expl-"

Suddenly an arrow flew through the window and lanced itself into his beck. Bach cried out and fell to the ground, clutching his neck. It appeared he could not forsee anything in their presence...

Ziona bit back a yell as Bach fell, the arrow digging into his back. She rushed over to Bach, dropping to her knees next to him. She looked up at Ian.

"You have to believe me, Ian. He's not... he's not as evil as he seems." She turned her eyes back to Bach, grabbing the arrow in his back before snapping it as close to his back as she could. She dared not remove it from where it was sitting close to his spine.

-Middle Ages Stairwell-

Merik Shot one of the men trying to attack him and he fell back he put his shoulder into an armored man knockin him over and he continued to run. He heard the captains voice, and evidently so had Jones and Julianna because they sped up as well.

An arrow flew past Meriks head imbeding in the wall next to him. The stairs ended and their was a large door, Jones pushed it open....

Middle Ages, North Tower

With assistance from Merik and Jones, Juliana had made her way past the guards that blocked her path. She jumped over the limp body of one of Bach's guards, the one that Merik had shot with the phaser rifle, and, across the landing, to stand before the old wooden door that led into the North Tower.

Just as she was about to enter the room, she heard the sound of glass breaking and the sound of someone, a man, cry out in pain. Was it Captain Xavier?!?

Juliana rushed into the room, with a worried look on her face.

When she entered the room, she found Captain Xavier, standing in front of the dying Bach, who had an arrow protruding from his back, dangerously close to his spine. Ziona was holding Bach's limp body. Behind the group, glass was scattered across the floor, below a gaping hole in the colored glass window behind them.

"What the...?" Juliana began, but, decided against pursuing the matter of what had happened. All that mattered was helping Bach. A wounded person was a wounded person and she had said an oath when she got her Doctor's License.

She handed the Orb to Ziona, as she knelt before Bach, examining his wound...

Ian rushed over to Bach and knelt next to him. He was all too familiar with the pain of an arrow ramming into the soft flesh. Ian wasn't sure about helping him though, even though Ziona said it was alright. The doors behind them burst open and Jones and Merik walked in.

"Captain!" Jones said.

Ian was baffeled at the appearance of those two.

"What are you doing here?" He asked, "How?"

"Captain, we've...come to rescue you?" Merik said.

He looked around the room.

"When I found out that you were missing, Jones and I tried to figure out what happend. We found cronoton radiation and knew it was a temporal error. We assumed you would have no way to get back so we duplicated the conditions of your beam down, and arrived here."

Middle Ages, North Tower

Juliana looked over the wound. The wooden arrow that protruded from Bach's back was embedded deep into his skin...and, to Juliana's horror, the arrow had penetrated his spine. Removing the arrow would be...dangerous, to say the least.

With a mournful look on her face, she had looked up to the Captain and the others.

"I'm sorry. I don't know what happened here, but, I can say for sure that, even if I can remove this arrow-" Juliana pointed to the arrow that stuck out of the former archaeologist's back. "-Bach would never be able to walk, again." Juliana reported to the others, with a hint of sadness in her voice.

She might not have liked Bach, but, she knew that deep down, Bach was only trying to help the galaxy...even, though, he was hurting the galaxy in the process...plus, she never liked to have to report things such as this...no matter who the patient was.

Ziona stood and took a few steps back, taking a seat in the chair nearby, holding the orb in her hands. She seemed in shock. Her eyes were down and she didn't look up for anything. She simply watched Bach on the floor, her eyes focused and yet unfocused at the same time.

Ian nodded to both Julianna and Merik. He looked back at Bach, who was holding Ziona's hand.

"I'm going to join you now," He said, "....Brianna...."

His eyes shut and he died quietly, no anger or depression. Ian stared at his body and couldn't help shake the feeling that maybe he was wrong about the man. He looked at Julianna and saw she had the orb.

"Ensign?" He said, "When we get back to the station, I'm gonna make sure you're promoted."

He leapt up and gently took the orb from her arms.

"Its time to fix this..." He said.

Ziona felt Bach's hand go limp as he died and she pulled away rather violently from him, withdrawing to a corner and glancing out the window again, lost in her own thoughts.

(Mistakes happen! )

-Middle Ages, North Tower-

Ian clutched the orb in his hands and closed his eyes. The temporal energies were flowing through him. He felt the calm familiar presence of the space/time contiuum. His mind and soul were pulled away from that time, leaving the others behind....

Middle Ages, North Tower

Juliana watched, in sorrow, as she watched Bach die. The wound must have been worse than she thought. It must have hit a nerve. She would had to had a medical tricorder to detect something such as a punctured nerve. Juliana could only imagine the pain that Bach was going through in his last few moments of life. At least it seemed as if he died in peace. Juliana wondered who "Brianna" was, as Bach said in his last word. His wife? Juliana simply shrugged. It didn't matter. Bach was dead...let the dead be dead.

After Bach was dead, Juliana looked over to the Captain, who had commented on her actions of the day. He had offered her a promotion!

Juliana's cheeks turned a bright red, as did her ears, at Captain Xavier's compliment. A promotion? So soon? What did she do to garner a promotion?

"Thank you, Captain." Juliana stammered, visibly embarassed. "But...I must ask...what did I do to garner a promotion? I couldn't save Bach, here..." Juliana asked, nervously.

However, the Captain couldn't answer her question. He disappeared, with the Orb in hand. He must have gone back into the Space/Time Continuum...Seconds later, Juliana, too returned back into the Space/Time Continuum...Soon afterward, Juliana found herself standing back in the temple, back on Elerra Prime...

It was over...

-Space/Time Continuum-

Ian was in the familiar place, beyond the cosmological horizon. He stared at the lines and saw everything was in chaos. Time was an utter mess because of Bach. Ian reached his hand out almost as if it was the hand of God. He saw Bach with his family. All of them were alive, probably for the last time. Bach in no way deserved this and Ian was violating temporal law. Then again, he had a unique persepctive. He saw that if he had let them all live, severe changes would happen. His sons were meant to die in the Dominion war at a pivotal battle. In fact, one of them was a Chief engineer, and manage to keep the ship together long enough for the completion of the mission. His wife though, did not affect the time line. He prevented her from going to Bajor, where she would have contracted the disease. She would now live and Bach would not continue his search of the device. The time line began to reform and change. It was restored, but a single line existed for the alternate time line. Once an alternate time line was made, it alwayas existed in some shadow form. But Ian's time line was back to normal. He focused on Elerra Prime and the present timeline. He reappeared on Elerra Prime. Julianna, Archer, Grey, Ziona, Merik, and Jones all stood there.

"It is finished..." He declared.

-Elerra Prime-

Ian looked over at Archer and then down at the globe in his hand.

"Its going to be ok Jon..." He said.

His eyes never left the powerful device. It was pretty much the most powerful device in all of the Alpha quadrant, nay, the galaxy. Ian shuddered at the idea of Fito taking this. His eyes shot up to the others.

"Listen to me," He said, "And listen to me closely. I order all of you to never speak of this orb, EVER. We will not inform Starfleet about what we just went through and we will never tell Starfleet about this orb. EVER. I'm not making this order as your captain, but as your fellow man. If the wrong hands obtained the device, then things would be bad. Are we all in agreement?"

-USS Hawk, Cockpit-

Siradore looked at Katran. They had been hidden for hours, doing nothing but scans.

"Major?" He said, "We've scanned every inch of the array, each ship, and this nebula. We've been pushing our luck. We should leave sir!"

(Ow! This hurts...)

Elerra Prime, Temple

Juliana bowed her head, in consent.

"Yes, sir. I understand." Juliana replied, solemnly.

"Well?" He asked.

Elerra Prime

Ziona opened her eyes and she was back on Elerra Prime. She glanced down and she was back in her uniform. She sighed heavily, shutting her eyes for a moment and steadying herself before she opened them again.

She saw Ian, she saw Julianna, she saw Archer, she saw Grey, she saw Merik, she saw Jones...

Everyone was there and a wave of relief washed over her. A simple nod was all she gave to Ian in response to his request. With that, she turned on her heel and walked off a bit from the rest of the crew to think.

--Starcraft Hawk, Cockpit--
Katran turned to Siradore, nodded in agreement, and arched his head in the direction of the helmsman. "Helm, take us back to the station," he ordered.
He then turned his attention to Tantor. "What do our final scans say, Lieutenant?"
Tantor turned from his console and glanced at the Major. "As reported earlier, Major, the outpost has two disruptor turrets on either side for defense, with a large, powerful sensor and communications satellite at the top. At different areas surrounding the station, however, there are unmanned disruptor and torpedo weapons platforms stationed about, forming a solid defense net."
Kyle then turned to Siradore again, inquiring, "What else have you got?"
