... Yes...Enterprise is the least popular series...I personally believe it is because of the fact that it did not continue the story of ST it showed the past...which caused many screwups with the Time-Line...and caused many fans to not like it...
For example...WHERE THE HELL ARE THE XINDI IN THE DS9,TNG,VOY ERA HUH?
or...
Didnt they say on first contact that they took care of all the Borg remains, and that NONE were left behind?
or...
How come the NX-01 is the apparent first Enterprise when the same was said about the USS Enterprise 1701?
Etc...there were to many bugs in the story for the series to be a hit with the fans...so most people after a while grew tired of it...and the Writers ROYALY SCREWED UP!!!

I am not one to say which ST shows were good and bad. I haven't even seen all of them!
However, I would say that Enterprise is the least popular. Fans just didn't like the continuity problems, like Omet'Ikilan pointed out. I, myself, have only seen a few episodes and I can say that I just didn't like the way the show was filmed...it just didn't look like the Star Trek I know and love. It reminds me of something you would see on the Sci-Fi channel, like Battlestar Galactica (which isn't a half-bad show, from what I've seen and heard). Star Trek isn't like those, though. It is its own breed...that was my major problem with the show and I never dug the characters.
However, it was still better than Voyager, my least favorite ST. DS9 all the way!!!

Yes,...it was filmed almost like a Soap Opera, not a ST show

*sigh*
I wish people would actually pay attention to what i say on this forum. It really is getting tiresome. Voyager WAS the least popular Star Trek series. NOT Enterprise. That is a fact. Enterprise is the least loved Star Trek show among the hard core trekkers/trekkies. But that still doesnt mean it was the least popular.

I felt enterprise was not the worst of the shows, the CGI was the best out of all but that's inevitable. I am sorry, but I really do not like the original series its too... camp and the graphics and costumes are appaling! From best to worst...
Voyager
TNG
Enterprise
DS9
Original
the films are good, well the ones with picard

One word: BORG. Most overused foe in all of trek that should not have been in ENT.
From that point ENT fell downhill but not that badly. It just wasn't great trek. But it was trek and I watched every episode when it came out and some moments were worth watching.
But Borg should not have been in ENT. IT JUST SHOULDN'T. BORG should have been a big NO for ENT, but we had bizarre producers.
The last episode of ENT was an insult to ENT fans and trek fans.

I agree that the borg were way to overdone across trek - however, at least it was done in its most simplistic form on the ENT episode where the message had a 200 year hike back to Borg space which put it right in line with their appearance on TNG.
They were unknown, not overly powerful, we didnt have a lot of technobabble miracle scientific method for dealing with it, it just came and went in as a mystery.
while one would think that SOME sort of record of the encounter would have been made and that it would have been referenced when TNG first encountered them, its something that could have been left to clerical error
no need to rattle the sabre on this borg particular borg incursion, IMO

I like it better being on SCI-FI than UPN, at least you get to see the entire episode instead of 30 minutes of commercials and have to edit out parts to make the 1 hour deadline like UPN did, made me so po'ed.
Seeing it on DVD made me like enterprise more, i think the favorite areas of enterprise i like more, were daniels and the temporal cold war and the xindi conflict. If enterprise would have continued on for 7 seasons, i think there would be more hostilities between the klingons and the romulans which i would have loved to see, and the birth of the federation and the establishment of the neutral zone. I know archer was old but i wish they would have put in a part of him attending the launch of the USS ENTERPRISE NCC-1701, i think that would have fit in nicely in a ending to enteprise instead of-riker and troi running the enteprise series crew from a holodeck, now i didnt like that to much- nor when they killed off trip.

Yeah but common, to say their overdone is an understatement to say the least.
The only reason they were added is because the producers saw a *slightest* chance of pulling it off 'sort of'. They really should have not been there. How did wreckage and an army of drones survive the explosion? In the first contact video it looks totally obliverated from the quantum torpedoes. How did all this wreckage make it through re entry and crash landing. They were not over antartica at the time of the explosion. They were over the missle site. How did the borg advance themselves so quick in the ep. How did they build a transmitter powerful enough to send a transmission to the delta quandrant with 22nd cent tech. Too many hows and whys. Biggest being that there was the major notion in TNG of the borg encounter being their first, and this should have not been disrupted by ENT.

I think that ENT was least popular due to the overwhelming cheesy-ness of some of the plotlines and characters.
One thing to consider too, the network it was on.
An unpopular network, will inherently have unpopular shows.

Bet it would be more popular now being on the sci-fi channel and having 4 episodes playing all in 1 night.
I think with the timeline being changed and messed up so much, it was to confusing for people to figure out "what and why" it was happening and didnt make sense, so it was a turn off to alot of people.
I think if enterprise was given a introduction from the borg/picard first contact saga, i think people would have gotten the idea "how and why" the timeline and the storyline turned out so different in the beginning for that part.As for daniels, he had some knowledge of future events that would be benificial to correct in the past w/ archers help, but other events daniels didnt have no clue on, and he made the mistake of interacting with events that altered the timeline and messed things up, but he got them straightened out eventually. But it really ended up with the timeline resetting itself, which made me believe that history was changed by those events, and why it turned out all different in the star trek history database and what we know.I can see why people were dissatisfied with the outcome and declined to watch enterprise.
But in all, i liked enterprise, i just had to watch it over and over again make sense of it, and to get the full understanding to why the events took place.

I still say enterprise is kick ass. As for the borg thing i do slightly agree with everyone but at the end of the day it is just 1 episode. i dont think anyone should judge a tv show on just 1 episode. As for the borg surviving the torpedoes and re-entry, it was rather far-fethced yes. However they did explain it would take a few hundred years for the message to reach the delta quadrant. Pretty much the same as the probes starfleet send out around that time (mentioned in TOS TNG & DS9) so that part is very plausable.
Enterprise was just like any other star trek series. And it was also completely different to any other star trek series. Thats what makes is so amazing!

enterprise was ok but overall sucked b/c it was too similar to our era of tech, deviating from the norm of star trek

In addition to everything that has already been said. One of the problems that I saw with ENT is that they were very lazy when coming up with the characters. Star Trek has always been very static with their character's story lines. IE you have a head strong Captain, one member has no idea who they are, one is a militant, so on and so forth, and I think a lot of the fans were tired of this, I for one was. If you look at the top three characters in all the ST series you will see that they are all very similar. ENT tried to pull away from it in part with T'Pol, but then they had her take the place of the little lost one.
Do not get me wrong, I love watching every type of ST series, but it got pretty repetitive.
ALSO, the producers were pretty lazy with the ships and what not. Yeah the CGI was great but they did not even bother to design a different hull design for the NX-01 (insert Akira-Class here).

I read somewhere that Braga admitted he screwed up Star Trek but I got to find the link again. I hope I can find it again.
I liked Enterprise. It wasn't the best but it was okay.
