PostSun Apr 30, 2006 8:41 pm    Star Wars: The Jedi-Sith Wars

-Story-
One thousand and five hundred years before the battle of Yavin, a Jedi-Sith war is raging across the galaxy. The galaxy is filled with the hum of lightsabers as they pierce through soft flesh. Ships fill the skys and major dog fights are a casual occurance. The death toll rises steadily and ancient orders fight to the death. The war began when a rogue Jedi stole a holocron and created a new Sith order. Now five hundred years after that, the war continues...

The war has pitted brother against brother. Many Jedi have left the Order, disallusioned with the old ways and crave the newer ones. The Galactic Republic sits on it's hands as usual, weighing in decisions on what to do. The Jedi Council deliberate on ways to end this war, but to no avail. Jedi temples across hundreds of worlds are besieged by Sith advancements. Meanwhile, criminal organizations flourish as the Jedi Order can no longer watch over them. A Sith Council is formed on Korriban...

All is not good with the Sith though. The Sith eye each other carefully in paranoid suspicion. Rumors grow abound that splinter cells may break away from the Sith order. A small Jedi temple on Telos sits in the frozen north. The planet is now rebuilt and repopulated since the Jedi civil war. A group of Jedi train and are unaware of the danger that is coming to them...

-Affiliations-

Jedi Order:

There is no emotion, there is peace.
There is no ignorance, there is knowledge.
There is no passion, there is serenity.
There is no chaos, there is harmony.
There is no death, there is the Force.
The Jedi Code

A noble order of protectors unified by their belief and observance of the Force, the Jedi hearken back to a more civilized, classical time in galactic history. Their order is ancient, spanning over a thousand generations. As the Galactic Republic throve and grew over the centuries, the Jedi came to serve it as guardians of peace and justice.
Headquartered on Coruscant, the Jedi trained, studied, and planned from the impressive Jedi Temple, a towering edifice rising high above the surrounding structures on the city-planet. They are governed by a High Council of 12 Jedi -- most of them Jedi Masters -- who contemplated the very nature of the Force.
To become a Jedi requires the deepest commitment and most serious mind. It is not a venture to be undertaken lightly. As such, Jedi instruction is rigidly structured and codified to enforce discipline and hinder transgression. Only 20 Jedi have ever voluntarily renounced their commissions. It is with great regret that the Jedi order recognizes the so-called "Lost Twenty." A Jedi who fails in his training can be a very serious threat. The dark side of the Force beckons to the impatient, and students in the past have been lured to its call with devastating consequences.
Jedi candidates are detected, identified and taken into the order as infants. One method of detection is through blood sampling -- those with great Force potential often have high midi-chlorian counts in their bloodstream. A prospective Jedi begins training in infancy. All connection to previous family life is lost. In this early stage of training, a single master instructs groups, or clans, of Jedi hopefuls.
As the Jedi mature, the apprentice is paired with a master to continue the next phase of the training. According to the Jedi Code, a Jedi Master may only have one Padawan at a time. Near the end of the Padawan's training, she must undergo trials before ascending to the rank of Knight.
The next level of rank in the Jedi order is the Jedi Master, reserved for those who have shown exceptional devotion and skill in the Force. It is from the ranks of the Jedi Masters that the High Council is chosen, which is the main interface between the Jedi and the government of the Republic.
The Jedi dress in simple robes and carry specialized field gear for their missions. Their signature weapon, the lightsaber, is both elegant and deadly when in the hands of a trained master.
The sworn enemies of the Jedi are the Sith -- a cult-like order bent on domination through subservience to the Force's dark side. Founded by former Jedi, the Sith abandoned the precepts of knowledge and defense, and instead seek abandon and strength through the Force's hateful energies. Centuries ago, the Jedi destroyed the Sith order. A dangerous complacency set it, wherein the Jedi believed the Sith extinct. Little did they know the order would arise anew, to destroy their ranks.

Sith Order:

Peace is a lie, there is only passion.
Through passion, I gain strength.
Through strength, I gain power.
Through power, I gain victory.
Through victory, my chains are broken.
The Force shall free me.
The Sith Code

An ancient order of Force-practitioners devoted to the dark side and determined to destroy the Jedi, the Sith were a menace long thought extinct. The current incarnation of the Sith is the result of a rogue Jedi dissident from the order. Two thousand years ago, this Jedi had come to the understanding that the true power of the Force lay not through contemplation and passivity. Only by tapping its dark side could its true potential be gained. The Jedi Council at the time balked at this new direction. The Dark Jedi was outcast, but he eventually gained followers to his new order. Awakening beliefs from the dark past, the new Sith cult continued to grow. With the promise of new powers attainable by tapping into the hateful energies of the dark side, it was only a matter of time before the order self-destructed. Internecine struggle by power-hungry Sith practitioners dwindled their numbers.

-Planet-

Telos:

This planet was known for its technological innovations, much of which was developed in the centuries following the Great Sith War. During the Sith War, the planet was sundered by Darth Malak, and much of its surface was destroyed. Left alone, Telos regenerated itself into a beautiful world, with many natural wonders which drew a steady tourist trade, as well as a great deal of commerce. A secret Jedi academy lay in the frozen northlands. There, a small group of Jedi train and study in the ways of the Force, not bothered by anyone from the planet. The temple had been attacked by Darth Nihilus and many of it's Jedi archives, destroyed. Echani Handmaidens once frequented the halls but many died against Nihilus, while others fled. Now its large halls are quiet and empty and only about two dozen Jedi frequen it's halls.

Jedi Temple:

This Jedi temple has been on the planet since the Jedi Civil War. It was founded by a Jedi historian named Atris. It used to be filled with thousands of years of Jedi history but a lot of it was lost when the Sith attacked. The Echani handmaidens and Atris are all gone at this point. After smugglers on Telos discovered the temple, they sold the information to the Jedi for a VERY steep price. The Jedi Council on Coruscant chose two Jedi masters and sent them with various students to train there. Virtually no one knows about this temple. There is a Jedi council chambers inside, but no members. A temple hangar bay filled with Jedi starfighters are inside as well. Each Jedi have their own meditation quarters. There is a large temple archives in the rear area. As well as sparring chambers, formerly used by the Echani. It has everything a Jedi needs for study and training.

-Light Squadron-

This squadron was formed by the Jedi on Telos. It was named after the belief that the light side conquers all, including the dark side of the Force. It is made up of several Jedi starfighters and are used primarily for defense during the war. They are often kept in the hangarbay in the academy. The starfighters are the standard Jedi, Delta-7 Aethersprite-class light interceptor.

Jedi Starfighter:

Possibly, due to their visual similarities, it was an evolutionary descendant from the ancient Republic interceptor; it was a small, sleek interceptor used by the Jedi Knights for reconnaissance missions. However, the starfighter was fitted with two twin-barrel laser cannons allowing the pilot to fight when necessary. As part of the Republic's Judicial Department, the starfighters owned by the Jedi Order were colored in the red and white hues that represented the diplomatic immunity that the Jedi enjoyed.

The Aethersprite was too small for a hyperdrive, instead relying on other spacecraft or an external hyperdrive ring for faster-than-light travel. The size of the craft also would not allow for a factory model astromech droid navigator, as future starfighters such as the X-wing used. Instead, astromech droids were integrated directly into the starfighter, with only the droid's truncated heads visible. The Aethersprite had very powerful sublight engines, driving it to a maximum acceleration of 5,000g.

Stationed in the hangar bays of the Jedi Temple on Coruscant and other facilities, Aethersprites were assigned to all field Jedi. General-use starfighters were colored in turquoise, and starfighters coded for use by specific Jedi were colored red.

His parents were killed during a struggle in space with Sith. Jedi were able to stop the Sith, but it was far too late for his parents. They took Ian and brought him back to Coruscant to train. He grew up under the guidance of Jedi Master Akiim Ayloo. A Twi'lek female, green skinned tone. She was a brilliant fighter and extremly vocal in her views of the Force. Ian Core did not know about his parent's death at the hands of the Sith. He was never told in fear of growing up in anger and that he would rush off foolishly to figh the Sith out of hatred aznd revenge. Akiim became a member of a Jedi Council on a remote Jedi world at the edge of the Core worlds. With this, Ian was promoted to the rank of Knight after passing the trials. Only four years later did he recieve knighthood. Being Correlian, he was a brilliant pilot. He led a raid on a Sith ship factory with his squadron against one of the moons around Korriban. The attack was succesful and it halted ship production for the sith, for years. Ian was given the rank of master due to the shortness of Jedi and hiw bravery during the attack. He was sent to Telos alongside another Jedi master to train students there without worry of Sith attacks. He is familiar with various forms of lightsbare combat but is VERY profeciant in form III.

A year later a Jedi was flying through the system and felt a tremor in the force, he felt a strong urge to investigate. He found Ryan in the reckage of the ship, frostbitten and barely alive, he was delirious and starved, having lived off of basic rations for an entire year. The Jedi Master took Ryan aboard his ship, where another young boy, Ian Core, was being taken to the Jedi Acadamy to begin his training. The two quickly became friends and Ryan grew up to consider Ian a brother. Ian became a Padawan to a Twi'Lek named Akiim Ayloo while Ryan was a Padawan to another Twi'Lek named Hajar Nimmal. Neb's parents agree, but on one condition: that Neb be able to take an astro droid, R8-P3, or "Rate", which, after many years of avoiding memory wipes, had taken a strange liking to Neb. The Knight agreed to take the droid along, but made no promises of Neb being able to keep it. After hard work and diligence in the temple, Neb was accepted as a Padawan learner by a Human Knight, Jho Kasch. As a reward for completing the trials, along with Knighthood, he was awarded his astro droid, Rate. She was rebellious, but the dark jedi liked the quality in her, so he began to teach her. When she was 10 she formally took up bounty hunting, which she did whenever she could get away from the jedi who raised her. Ordel was killed when she was 13 by Kai, as a lesson to keep her word. Kai fled, but she wasn't able to catch him in time to kill him. She went full-time bounty hunting, until she again got tangled up with the jedi order. Dajai, a lone jedi master, discovered her while on a mission to review the Melida/Daan case. He could sense that she was adept, and even though she was wild, he believed he could tame her. Her training had already been initiated, so despite her misgivings, he convinced her to become his padawan, and give up her life of criminality. Played By: La Forge
Name: Real Name Unknown; known simply as X
Rank: N/A; Bounty Hunter
Lightsaber Color: N/A
Lightsaber Type: N/A
Lightsaber Combat Form: N/A
Gender: Unknown
Age: Unknown
Species: Unknown
Homeworld: Unknown
BIO: Unknown
It is unknown who the bounty hunter known as X truly is. X was born on the planet of Mygeeto about 30 years ago. The exact date is unknown. X was born into poverty. He/She lived in the slums of Mygeeto. However, one day, when X was about ten years old, the leader of a local guild of Bounty Hunters found X, near-death, on the streets. This Bounty Hunter raised X in the ways of the Bounty Hunter. By the time X was sixteen years old, he/she was a full-fledged Bounty Hunter. In fact, he/she usurped the Bounty Hunter who had raised him/her as the Leader of the Guild. X took this Bounty Hunter's place as Leader. Since he/she was sixteen, X has been taking contracts. When the Jedi-Sith Wars began, the need of Bounty Hunters rose. In turn, business rose. Sadly, because of this, X lost many good Bounty Hunters. In fact, X lost three-quarters of his/her Guild. Because of this, X disbanded the Guild and has since became a free-lance Bounty Hunter. Currently, X has been spotted near the planet of Dantooine. X's purpose is unknown. What is known is that X is a ruthless cold-blooded killer, who has taken the lives of over 50 men and women. One more wouldn't hurt.

Rules:

1) You MUST be a Jedi or Sith. Sorry. There is more unity this way. If everyone is off on different roles, the RPG will fail. Maybe when the RPG expands more and takes off, I will allow additional, non-Jedi/Sith roles.
2) No cursing that isn't in SW at least.
3) Must be willing to keep up. It maybe fast paced...
4) NO GOD MODDING. This is going ot be tempting since people are going to be Force users. It won't be tolerated. Be realistic. If you're a Jedi PADAWAN fighting a Sith MASTER, chances are, without back up, you won't win. So don't try to go all super saiyan on anyone.
5) Not everyone can be a master.
6) Can not be a major SW character or related to them in anyway.

-Unknown Location, Meditation Chambers-

A figured, clad in black robes, walked into a large meditation chamber. With the robes draped all the way to the floor, it almost looked as if the person had floated into the room. This was only an illusion though, because the sounds of each step hitting the floor echoed inside of the massive room. The enigmatic figured stopped in front of what appeared to be a kneeling stand. His or her knee dropp touched the floor and the figured closed their eyes. Their eyes....could not be seen, because of a white skeletal mask covering their face. The room was freezing to any Force sensitive person that entered. Not because of the physical temperature, but because of the Dark side energies that crowded the room. The figure, Darth Evinco, felt at peace inside of it. The energy was limitless as long as he/she tapped into it through...darker means. Evinco would meditate several times a day, to ensure the strong connection of the Force. He/She relished in the feeling of being surrounded by it. Evinco stretched his aura out into the Force and felt out for others. Mainly, for any Jedi. None were nearby, as usual. They wouldn't be unless they had brought a large Republic fleet. The Jedi were a petty nuisance in Evinco's side. He/She would deal with them soon enough, but now was not the time. No, the bigger threat was his masters on the Sith council. Always demanding an update on the war. They had gone from masters of their destinies to politicians. It was sickening to any true Sith. Evinco could not wait for the day when he would murder every single one of them. Then he would make the NEW golden age of the Sith happen once more. It never would if the war kept going this way. Evinco had sent out his star pupil, Kai Rwa, to dozens of worlds to recruit. While the man was young, he was charismatic and brilliant when it came to dueling with a lightsaber. He was a prodigy and fallen Jedi. Evinco had twisted his mind into the ideals of the Sith. When Evinco marched into the Sith Council chambers, Kai Rwa and Darth Shan would be at his side. Shan, his right lieutanant was a loyal Sith. While Evinco trusted no one but himself, he did respect Shan's devotion to the dark side. Evinco was pushed out of his thoughts when he felt Shan approach the meditation chambers. No doubt to give news about the war and Kai's progess on recruitment...

-Telos, Jedi Temple-

Ian Core stood inside of the empty Jedi council chambers inside of the hidden temple. Well, it wasn't empty at that moment. Every chair was filled with a hologram of the main Jedi council on Coruscant. They all eyed the middle aged Jedi master closely. Ian felt strange being in a room filled with powerful Jedi masters and not being able to literally sense their presence. A Zabrak master leaned forward and cocked his holographic head.

"We're sorry master Core, but our orders stand." He said firmly.

Ian shook his head and looked very distressed.

"Masters," He said, "With all due respect, if we know his location, we should find him! He could need our help!"

Another Jedi council member, a Human female, shook her head at his comment.

"We can not risk you going all the way to Tatooine," She ordered, "The Sith are everywhere. Especially in the Outter Rim."

Ian turned his head towards her.

"Will you have all my students cower in fear of the Sith master?" He said retorted.

The Zabrak council member quickly responded.

"Watch your tone master Core," He warned, "What we say is for the safety of your temple. It was attacked once before, we don't want it attacked again. Your temple is filled with students, not masters and knights. Besides, Ryan Aurora defied the Jedi Order and left to fulfill some vendetta or simply fled to get away from the war, we don't know."

Ian looked back at the alien.

"Exactly!" He said, "You don't know why he did what he did! It has been two years! He could be-"

The Zabrak, one of the lead council members, shook his hand.

"Enough!" He said, "Our orders stand master Core. You will not pursue the matter. Ryan Aurora will be dealt with at a later time. Is this understood?"

Ian Core bowed his head and relented.

"As you wish master." He replied in his Coruscantian accent.

The Zabrak slowly nodded his head and leaned back into the chair.

"Good," He said, "We shall contact you again soon. May the Force be with you."

The holograms faded and now Ian was TRULY left alone in the room. He was bitter that his "brother" was pushed aside for this war.

"I will find him." He whispered to no one.

Ian turned out of the room, wrapping his cloak around his body tightly. He walked out and made his way towards the Jedi hangar bay.

Telos, Jedi Temple

Xenia Verdan, a young, beautiful Human Jedi Padawan, sat on a bench, just outside the Telos Jedi Temple's Hangar Bay. In her hands, Xenia held a book; a book about the different forms of lightsaber combat techniques. Xenia, who was studying the first form, Form I: Shii-Cho; the Way of the Sarlacc, had also started to study the fourth form, Form IV Ataru.

In fact, Xenia had been studying ever since she had come to this temple on the remote edges of the planet Telos, in the cold, harsh mountains. Despite the weather and atmosphere, Xenia loved this place. It had been her home ever since she was only six months old. She had been found on the doorstep of the temple, twenty-three years ago. No one knows who dropped her off or where she came from. A Jedi Master, who had lived at the temple in that time, named Quina Verdan, was the one who found Xenia. Quina was a Twi'lek Jedi Master, and, a skilled one at that, too. Quina had raised Xenia, like her own child. She named her and took care of her. She taught Xenia in the ways of the Jedi. Sadly, when Xenia was six years old, Quina was killed by a Sith Master, known as Darth Evinco, on the planet of Mustafar. Xenia was heart-broken. It felt as if she had lost her own mother. However, eventually, she got over it and tryed to live her life, once, again. The other Masters of the Temple continued to train her in the way of the Jedi, but, none of them would ever fill Quina's place in Xenia's heart. She would never forget Quina, for all that she had done for Xenia...

It turns out that Xenia had a very high midi-chlorian count. She had picked up the ways of the Jedi quickly. By the age of 12, she had already mastered the First Form of Lightsaber Combat. However, Xenia, ever the perfectionist, wanted to make sure that she had learned everything that could possibly be known of the First Form. Thirteen laters, she still believed that there was still room for improvement. However, by this time, she had begun to branch out and study other forms.

And, now, as usual, she had a book open, lying on her lap. She was pouring over the book, like the bookworm that she was. However, despite her "nerdy" and "perfectionist" behavoirs, Xenia had a darker side, too. Any time that she heard the name; Darth Evinco, she would shudder in fear and disgust and the usually tanned skin of hers would turn pale white, like a ghost. Anger would swell within her...how she hated Evinco for what that evil Sith had done to her Master. She would never forget Evinco, despite the fact that she had never met the mysterious Sith...but...she would know if she did...

While Xenia was in the middle of reading, she could hear someone coming down the hallway, his boots stomping on the tiled floor, echoing down the long corridor. The sound had brought Xenia out of the book she was reading. She snapped the book shut and looked up, in the direction of the footsteps, with a scowl on her face and an angry twitch of the mouth.

"Hey! Could you keep it down over there? Some people are trying to read, here!" Xenia had called out, to whoever was coming down the halls. However, when she saw who it was, she quickly apologized and nodded, in the typical Jedi manner.

"Master Core!" Xenia, who was now standing, with her book lying, astray, on the wooden bench, quickly snapped, nervously. "Please, forgive me! I did not know who you were...I was reading, you see." Xenia explained to the Jedi Master, with a worried look in her eye. Suddenly, in mid-sentence, a look of curiousity spread across Xenia's face. She cocked an eyebrow. "May I ask? Where are you going at this late hour?" Xenia asked, with a puzzled look upon her fair face.

Tatooine

Kai Rwa was on Tatooine. The desert planet. He was here to find potential recruits for the Sith. The Sith were getting thier hands on anyone these days, in the continuing wars with the Jedi. Jedi, what fools... Kai kept his breathing in one easy fluid motion even though he was walking at a brisk pace. His mind went over the Sith Code...

Peace is a lie, there is only passion.
    Through passion, I gain strength.
    Through strength, I gain power.
    Through power, I gain victory.
Through victory, my chains are broken.
    The Force shall free me.

He sighed slightly as he started to reach a settlement. Here he would find the potential recruits. He would let nothing stand in his way. Whether it be Jedi, or it be family of the recruits. Soon, all will know the passion of the Dark side, the strength, the feeling it gives....

-Telos, Jedi Temple-

It had been her home.

Ian turned his head towards the young woman. He wasn't surprised when he saw her. But it did startle him when she yelled at him. A smile crossed his face. She was such a hard working student. Always studying and perfecting her technique.

"You need not ask for forgiveness child," He said, "I am not one to be easily offended."

She had made an inquiery as to where he was going. Ian stopped short suddenly. He felt horrible about lying to her. It was something that he didn't like doing to anyone, much less to a student in the temple.

"I have to help an old friend Xenia." He said mysteriously.

He walked past her towards his fighter. His dimunitve R4 unit was rolling on top of the fighter, repairing damaged.

"Prep her to go R4!" He yelled.

The tiny droid made an affirmitve toot and began to move into his slot in the fighter.

Tatooine

Kai arrived at the settlement. There was an area of bustleing activity as people went on about their daily lives. Some slowed down just enough to get a look at Kai in his dark flowing robes. The quickly returned to what they were doing as fast as they had stoped to look at him. Kai went towards a group of people, where there were younglings at their feet, playing with not a care in the world. Kai's eyes went to a girl, the Sith felt something in her, no doubt, the Jedi would do. Kai stoped in front of the group and looked to who appeared to be taking care of them...

Telos, Jedi Temple

Xenia just watched, with that same puzzled look from before, still spead across her lovely face, as Master Core brushed by, into the Main Hanger Bay of the Telos Jedi Temple. Xenia cocked both her eye and her head, as she saw the sliding doors that led into the Hanger Bay slam shut, before her, with a soft "thwoop".

She didn't believe what Master Core had said.

"Help an old friend?"

She could sense that something was wrong with him. Who could this friend be? He had just walked off, with barely a word. Something was wrong with Master Core. Xenia just couldn't place her finger on it.

Xenia was tempted to follow Master Core into the Hanger Bay and ask him, again, about where he was going and what he was going to do...the truth, this time...However, Xenia shrugged the thought off. The Master's business was the Master's business. She had no right, a Padawan, to go snooping about a Jedi Master's personal affairs. However, whatever Master Core was doing would not leave her mind and thoughts. She couldn't stop thinking and pondering at to what was going on...it was a mystery, all right.

Xenia let out a deep sigh, blowing her long brown bangs up with her breath. She briskly turned on her heel and snatched her book up from off of the bench. She hesitated before moving, again, debating within herself at whether or not to see Master Core, again, but, she eventually shrugged the thought off and walked off, down the hallway, towards the huge Library of the Telos Jedi Temple, to return the book that she had checked out.

An old Dug noticed Kai staring at the children. It jumped down and shoved Kai with his feet, knocking the man to the ground. The Dug, Yelgu, stared at Kai, now level with the tall male.

"(Stay away from my slaves Bantha poodoo!)" He threatened in Hutteese.

As Core was climbing onto his fighter, he stopped suddenly and looked towards the doors. The padawan sat outside the room, quietly reading something. She was curious, he could sense it. Ian leapt off the ship and walked towards the door.

"Keep prepping the ship R4." He demanded.

He stepped through the doors to see Xenia still in the same place. She may have been just a padawan, but she no push over. This was a relatively safe task and could be good training for her.

"Care to join me?" He asked.

Kai glared at the small, pathetic creature. He looked at the creatures neck and cocentraited. Chocking sounds started to come from him. Kai threw his feet in the air, then foward using the momentum to jump back up into standing position. He looked at the creauture and released him. "I came for her..." Kai pointed to the girl.

Yelgu scrambled on the ground, coughing and hacking for air. He rose onto his arms and darted away from the towering Sith lord. The Dug grabbed the girl that Kai motioned to and shoved her at his feet.

"(Take her!)" He yelled, "(I don't want any part in your war! Take her!)"

Yelgu was fearful of the Sith and their terrible power. Nearby people rushed away from Kai, knowing what he truly was.

Telos, Jedi Temple

Xenia, who was half-way down the hallway, when Master Core came through the doors to the Hanger Bay, again, stopped dead in her tracks and turned around to face him.

The puzzled look on her face had disappeared. Something was afoot. Why else would Master Core ask her, of all people, to accompany him on some mysterious mission...well...it could be a mission. Xenia had no idea on where she was going and what was going on, but, she did know that something was different about Master Core, lately...he seemed...darker...more tense...he was worried about something. About what, Xenia could not tell.

Xenia, who was standing next to the bench, staring, dreamily, into Master Core's face, was completely dumb-founded. What a strange day...

Seconds later, Xenia snapped out of her "trance". She realized that Master Core had asked her to accompany him. She had nothing to do that particular day, except train, but, she was in the mood for a change of pace. She hadn't left the Temple in three months, anyway. It would be good exercise, both in body and spirit.

Xenia nodded, with a grin on her beautiful face.

"Of course, Master. I need to stretch my legs, now and then." Xenia replied, cooly. She tossed the book that she held over onto the wooden bench next to her. She sighed, in relief. She didn't really want to train that particular day. She was growing bored of her studies, despite her "perfectionist" nature. She hadn't been able to test out her newfound abilities in quite some time...in the field, that is.

Xenia nodded, again, to Master Core, before standing forward, to follow him back into the Hanger Bay.

"At last...a vacation..." Xenia thought to herself, with a weak laugh, under her breath. Little did she know...this was going to be no vacation.

Kai took the girl and started at the creature and then looked at his surroundings. He then turned and started to head back the way he came, towards his ship. His masters would be pleased that he came back with someone at least. He smiled at the though of gratitude they might show him. His smiled disared when he remembered who it was he was thinking of.

Ian bowed his head as she agreed to join him. He turned around and made his way to his fighter. The tiny astromech droid had completed the preperations and the fighter was made to go. Ian climbed ont the canopy of the ship and looked back at the young padawan.

"I asked you to join me because I feel you can handle it," He said, "Of that I have no doubt. There should be no trouble, but the Force teaches us to be wary of our surroundings. We should always be prepared. The Sith are always on the move and could be anywhere. My friend may be in danger and going after him may put us in danger. Right now, the only people I think that could handle this is my fellow master here at this temple...or you. I won't risk my fellow master, someone needs to be here to train the others. I think you can handle yourself over any other padawan at this temple. But be wary, understood?"

Telos, Jedi Temple

Xenia's face blushed at Master Core's words. Xenia had never been spoken to in such a way. She never considered herself to be all that good of a Jedi Padawan. Yes, she did her work and studied the ways of the Jedi any chance she had, but...one could not explain with words. One could say that it would just be the "perfectionist" gene talking; that gene that tells you to strive to be better no matter how good something already is.

Seconds later, Xenia's bright pink cheeks and ears quickly returned to their normal, tan color. She felt embarassed for acting in such a way in the presence of a Jedi Master, but, she could not help it. She was still a young woman, with little control of her emotions. However, thankfully, she has, so far, managed to stay away from the Dark Side...for now.

Xenia, who quickly realized that Master Core had addressed her, quickly nodded, in response to his warning.

"I understand, Master. I have the only form of protection that I will ever need with me." Xenia reassured both herself and Master core, as she tapped the forked lightsaber, an oddity of a lightsaber, that hung from her belt that was loosely tied around her tight light brown Padawan's uniform. With that, Xenia let out a weak laugh. She hoped that her lightsaber would be enough to handle whatever dangers Master Core spoke of...but, if Master Core thought that she was capable enough for this mission, then, she must be capable...or she hoped...

Xenia quickly hopped into the Pilot's Seat of the Jedi Starfighter, sitting at the Helm, in front of the multiple screens, buttons, gyros, levers, and whatnot that were installed into the consoles before her. She strapped into the seat and brought the golden headset over her head, jamming it over her head of hair.

"Ready!" Xenia said, excitedly, into the headpiece.

Kai continued to walk for his ship. The youngling in his arms seemed to offer no resistance. His ship, a tiny thing, was in sight. He would call his master to alert of a new recruit. Kai's mind went over the training he'd do later, to keep in shape, both in hand to hand combat, and in the form of light saber....

-Telos, Jedi Temple-

Ian smiled and shook his head when she tapped her lightsaber.

"No my young padawan," He explained, "The Force is the only "weapon" you'll ever need."

Ian didn't like calling the Force a weapon like the Sith do, but it did get his point across. No material object could ever protect her or him like the Force could. He slid into the cockpit of the fighter and strapped himself in. The canopy slid over his head and locked into place. His hand rushed over the controls and fired up the engines. He slipped on the headpiece for the fighter. Ian closed his eyes and reached out to the nearby controls for the hangar bay doors. With the Force, he opened the doors. Ian watched the doors slide open and the bitter cold snow flew into the hangar. The Jedi starfighter lifted into the air and flew towards the opening.

-Tatooine-

The girl was crying as Kai dragged her towards his ship. She had no idea where he was taking her or who he even was. She was grateful though to be away from that aweful slave master. She wouldn't resist if it meant her freedom.

Darth Shan walked into the large meditation chamber, the quiet hum of his artificial arm was buzzing in his ear, so he covered it with his cloak, silencing it. Oh how he loved the silence, it was so calm so peacful, so much like death...

Shan walked to his masters side and went to a knee.
"Master," he said in a raspy voice "We have lost control of the Centuri Moons," Shan half expected Evinco to strike him. "But we have done considerable damage to many Jedi outposts." He finished...his master stayed quiet.

"Kai Wra, my lord, is has givin an update from Tatooine." he continued "May I suggest master, that I take these matters into my own hands?"

-Tatooine,Mos Espa Outskirts-

A Dark hooded figure sat in meditation in a small hut's floor. His face covered by his dark blue robes. A bantha's roar echoed in the distance.
The hooded mans closed eyes twitched.

"Your mother, well" The hutt laughed "She's enjoying the life of a "service" girl.

The mans breathing deepend, his eyes twitched more.

"You insolent bastard!" the hooded man yelled at the hut as he swung the yellow blade

The hooded man's eyes snapped open, as he noticed he was screaming. He rose to his feet and wiped a tear from his face and walked towards the door of his hut...

Darth Evinco remained kneeled and did not look at his right man. The only Sith he made a Master.

"Yes," He said, "I don't trust Rwa."

Evinco sensed a disturbance in the Force and realized that Kai was tring to contact them through the holograpic communicator.

"He is trying to contact me," He explained to Shan, "Go to Tatooine, but tell no one, not even Rwa. Follow him, become his shadow. If he even THINKS of betraying us, KILL him."

Evinco used the Force to activate the machine and the hologram of Kai appeared.

"What is it?" Evinco asked.

Darth Evinco turned his head and stared blankly at the kneeling hologram. Evinco immediatly rose and towered over the bluish holographic form.

"One child?" He asked dissapointed, "I want more than that. The Jedi are overflowing our defenses. We just lost a moon and many Sith. I want more...many more. Is that understood?"

The master Sith lord nodded his head.

"Good," He said, "Then contact me when you are done on Tatooine."

Evinco waved his fingers and the hologram was turned off. Kai was beginning to become to dangerous to keep around. While Evinco felt that he could beat the former Jedi into submission, he was paranoid. Anything coudl go wrong. Including Kai somehow gaining the upperhand. Perhaps, Kai would not be joining him on the attack against the Sith Council after all. He looked back at Shan.

"Why are you still here?" He said through the mask, "GO!"

Kai sighed when the holocomunicator went off. He stood and looked at the girl. "I'll be back soon, with some friends for you..." Kai led her into a room then sealed the room to prevent her escape. He thought back to his comunication to his master. He seemed...impatient with him. Recruits were not easy, not people that the Jedi hadn't gotton to first, anyways. Kai walked off the ship and started to head to a settlement...

Jedi Starfighter

Xenia sighed. Master Core was right. How could she forget the most important thing in a Jedi's life. The Force! The Force never ceased to amaze Xenia...she had no idea what it was, exactly, despite her hours of studying. She believed that no one would ever know exactly what the Force is, and, the Jedi Order would be better off that way. Sometimes, the truth must not be known.

Xenia had forgotten most of her worries about the Force and whatnot, seconds later, as the sleek and fast Jedi Starfighter darted out of the open Hanger Bay doors into the freezing cold outdoors, with snow flying and winds howling. A typical day in the mountains of Telos.

During all of this, Xenia was monitoring the controls and piloting the small vessel from the Pilot's Seat; life-support, thrusters, fuel, and whatnot. Xenia considered herself a good pilot. She had learned from the best, Master Core, who had been an excellent pilot in his day. After all, he was a Corellian. So much was to be expected of him...Xenia didn't know where she was born...she liked to consider herself a "Telosian", seeing as Telos is her home, now.

Xenia activated her headpiece, by tapping the side of the shiny gold band with one finger. The headpiece turned on, allowing Xenia to her a loud barrage of static. She quickly tuned into Master Core's frequency.

"So...Master Core...where exactly are we going?" Xenia asked the Jedi Master, over the comlink.
