Another season might have been nice...But I think it was well timed either way personally.

Personally there were so many times that ship should have been destroyed.

Well duh...I mean come on...if the ship was destroyed there wouldn't be much of a series now would there...?

I wish people would think before displaying such ignorance.

I definitly don't think they needed another season. They made it home. The end. What else is there?

i agree with founder. At least this show had an ending, and a good one.

oh, 50 more season would be nice but i'm sure the cast would be old and waiting to die by that time another season would be nice, or just one new episode

I think maybe the final episode should have kept them in the Delta Quadrant but have led up to a movie.

Ya...that actually would have been a good idea...but at the same time do you know how many fans would be so mad at Star Trek for doing that...? I mean...unless Star Trek gave us a GUARENTEED there will be a movie following this finale... everyone would be complaining...Star Trek would be up to its neck in letters and complaints...But seeing as to how we're not even close to looking at a movie for Voyager I don't think we would have gotten one if we didn't get a guarentee for a movie.

I agree, I would really have liked to see a movie at the end of things but Voyager2004 is right; the fans would have gone nuts if the series ended like that. I don't think Voyager was ever intended to have a movie... unless they had decided to make it during the series... the storyline was such that you had to get them home by the end of the series which doesn't leave that much room for a movie unless theres some sort of trouble in the DQ and they need the expert help of the Voyager crew....

I think that the timing was right...but i would have rather seen someone else than the Borg. Between TNG and Voyager I got rather sick of them. Don't get me wrong, I like the Borg, but I would have been much more interested in something else.

Ya...The storyline was such as that...but even if Voyager had a movie while in the Alpha Quadrant...it doesn't have to have anything to do with the Delta Quadrant. What says Voyager is restricted to anything but the Delta Quadrant? There's still so much more of the galaxy left...tons of Alpha Quadrant, Beta Quadrant, and Gamma Quadrant. There's tons left for Voyager to help Starfleet accomplish.

I just personally don't agree with..."Voyager's home...story's over...and leave the movie idea alone."
I think that's crap. But that's just me.

Should they have got home? Like the above posts, another episode or two (or series) would have been nice.

At first I wasn't sure about the actual ending and thought, Is that it? But after I watched it again, I really did like it. They got home and that's the whole point of the story.

I would have prefered species 8472 to the Borg at the end, but that's just personal preference.

As to a film, Hubby and I have mentioned that it would be great if they could, realistically though, they won't.

BUT... if Voyager 'thought' they had got home, and were really in another 8472s construct of Earth... only the prototype being in the Delta Quadrant, then anything is possible.

Voyager was destroyed - many times.

Year of Hell Part 2 - Janeway uses the last functional weapon she has to destroy the timeship...Voyager itself. "Times up!"

Course: Oblivion - So close and yet so far, the ejection of the warp core is too much and Voyager falls apart. "How long till we're in hailing range of that ship? 9 minutes and ... 9 minutes ... 9 ... 9 ..."

Relativity - Voyager is ripped apart by a subspace mine.

So we're allowed an impressive firework display of warp plasma and tritanium (or deterium and traces of dicromates if you wish to quibble ) without the series ending prematurely, and what endings they were.

I don't mind what ending really, I'd like to see it tried again without the Borg and an extreme violation of the Temporal Prime Directive.

How about The Wormhole, some dangerous enemies, Voyager almost torn apart, a major character dying, blasting through into the Alpha quadrant and swooping down on Starfleet Command amid cheers and a bittersweet musical score. Janeways formal exit to her crew (as depicted in Homecoming.

Yeah, that will do. :p

Never!

They should have stayed on The 37:s planet and helped the people there. They could also have created a new federation out there.

In that case we could have had more TV episodes, movies and books with our favorites.

Since someone is obviously not going to give us another 7 seasons of Voyager, we will just have to enjoy our Voyager DVDs.
Still waiting for that movie, too.

It was hard to see the show come to an end. Voyager was there for me and with me through so much, marriage, divorce, success & failure that I kinda viewed to characters as extended family. I would have liked to have seen another three years at least. After the last episode I was in a funk for about a week, a hollow feeling came over me whenever I thought about the show.

I think Endgame could at least be a little extended, when you see them all in a room celebrating and you see them with their new ranks, and i would like to see what happened to the Maquis crew members

I would really have liked to see more at the end as far as how the crew will adapt to living back on Earth. How Seven will interact, how the mobile emitter will change earth, any court marshalls for the acts on Voyager, and all the awards and promotions each indivudual received.

And of course, like many, I'm dying for a movie!

yea, i would have like at least another 15 minutes of resolution, just to see what happens to them(the reunions, the celebrating). I think a movie would be a bad idea, I mean the climax of voyager was them getting home. so a movie would just be an hour an a half of the voyager crew sitting in a circle saying "so how are you now that we're home?"

but really if you think about it the beginning of "endgame" was what happen to them, the only two people you don't know what happen to are seven and chakotay. You can assume that that was what happened to the voyager's crew, it just happened 16 years earlier. if (if that made any since)
