Doc and 7 of 9?

"Someone to Watch Over Me" was definately a high point for the doctor's development, he really had fallen in love with Seven. I think that they would have made a great couple, but she had to end up with Chakotay for some reason.

It kinda freaked me out when the Doc said he had to 'evert his eyes' during her usual maintanance examination. A bit weird if you ask me, i always thought of them as just friends

Agreed...^^^. Very bad decison. They were forced together in less than a year. And it was all based off of her stupid holo-fantasy with the first officer. That was a retarded decision on the producers part.

Yeah and it was a slap in the face to J/C fans too!!!! But seriously, why did they keep writing all these 'moments' for Kathryn and Chakotay throughout all 7 seasons, just to chuck him together with Seven in a couple of episodes? I mean, had it been well written I would have accepted it, but putting those two together would have had to be very, very gradual... Seven and the Doctor had a heapload of stuff going on too but the writers chucked that aswell... I mean I'm all for plot twists but write them well people!!!!!

Ya...I think they just wanted to put them together b/c of 7's fantasy holo-novel...then they were on the planet together and then decided to just stick them together...how dumb...

I agree on the other hand...would it have been well written and throughout the entire (at the least) 7th season worked up their relationship instead of just a holo-program and stranded on a planet, then I would have accepted it more graciously...but the entire point of the whole J/C being together and stuff that Trek led up to for 7 years was JUST IN CASE they wanted to put them together...

But in my opinion they went too far with those two to just put C/7 together. That's just me.

Well, even if they hadn't put them together at the end it was just insulting to randomly pair him off with someone that he had never looked at that way in his life before... it would have been even worse if they had done that with Janeway though so we can be thankful for small mercies and tell ourselves that no man is good enough for her!

I was watching the episode where Seven joins the crew yesterday and now I really think that she and Harry should have been put together. He liked her even when she was still all borgified...

Harry (breathlessly):"How could I forget?"

Not word perfect but thats pretty much how it went!

freaky, cuz 7 of 9 is so...emotionless. while the doctor seems to be like DATA striving to be more human. he's full of emotion, while 7 of 9 is devoid of it.
