--Reagan, Cockpit--
Revan took a seat next to the Second Officer. "I'm sure you'll want to be briefed on what happened there," Revan said, smiling slightly at his Andorian friend.
"Well," he began, letting out a deep breath. "We found the structure and, upon entering it, communicated with an ancient holoprojector of some sort. The hologram was representative of an alien race I've never seen before--an ancient alien race which the hologram called the 'Architects.' These 'Architects" were, I gathered, a dominant force in the galaxy milenia ago, as much as 50,000 years ago, to be more precise. What the hologram said isn't important for you--at least not right now--but what happened after that encounter was the following: To our left and our right were doors that entered into ancient chambers, each with a single console. Taylor inserted the tricorder into each of the computers, prompting a question. In each case we failed to answer the question correctly the first time, and were forced to fend off against two ancient yet powerful machines, one in each room; we successfully answered each question correctly the second time."
He paused for a brief moment, and then continued. "After answering each question correctly we entered a room--the room with the anomoly--and found an ancient crystal, and realized that the room was distorted out of space-time. All that was in this room was a console with a single button, and upon pushing it arose a crystal of some sorts. I suddenly had an incredible urge to touch the crystal with each hand, and this prompted a sudden yet vivid flash--only seconds in length--of images of what appeared to be the past and the present. I couldn't make any of it out, but I can still see some of the images. Yet none of them make sense in any way.
"Then, all of the sudden I felt a surge through my body and flew back, the crystal shooting back down into the console. We escaped just in time as the doors to the chamber began to close, and ended up here." He let out a deep breath, smiling jokingly. "Not a very elegant tale, but in short, that's what happened."

Shorn nodded his head to the story by Revan.
"Sounds like a crazy time." He remarked.
He fired up the engines and lifted the shuttle into the air.
"I'll be glad to leave this place..." He muttered.

Revan, sitting next to the officer in the cockpit, heard the Andorian speak, saying, "You and me both."
The shuttle sped off into space. One of the security officers sat at a tactical station and said, "Captain. I'm reading the Eagle Star in this system."
"Looks like someone got impatient," James remarked. "Mr. Shorn, can you contact the ship?"

Shorn sent a hail to the ship and waited for a response. It came rather quickly. The commander's voice could be heard.
"A quick scan of the planet eh?" He said sarcastically.

Revan chuckled slightly. "There was a lot more there than we thought, Commander. Open the shuttle bay doors for docking. Have the Doctor prepare for mildly injured as well. I'll tell you everything when we get back."

"Understood," The first officer replied, "Welcome back."
Shorn flew the ship towards the shuttlebay. He was happy to finally be home to the familiar ship. The small shuttle flew inside and landed. Shorn looked at Revan.
"We're back sir..." He reported unneccesarily.

Revan looked at his Chief Operations/Helm officer and said, smiling jokingly as he rose from his seat, "Now ask yourself: was that really necessary?"
He tapped the Andorian on the shoulder twice with his hand and headed for the back of the shuttle, where the ramp had been opened.
Upon exiting the craft, leading the away team out of it, the Captain headed straight for the turbolift, so that they may all arrive in Sickbay.

The group entered the turbolift in two separate groups, each group speeding up it at the appropriate time.
Once together again Revan led the officers to Sickbay, where he entered and looked around for the Doctor.
"Doctor Robinson," he said as he glanced around the room for her.

Vivian, who had been busy typing up a medical report on Ensign Marone's latest "accident", was suprised by the Captain and the others. While she had been informed of their arrival, earlier, Vivian was still unprepared for their arrival. She was a perfectionist. She was too busy filing her medical report to prepare for their arrival. Everything had to be perfect, to the slightest detail.
When she heard the Captain say her name, she swiveled around in her chair, turning away from her medical console. When she saw the Captain and the others, she cracked a smile. Besides her "busybody" behavoir, Vivian definitely had a lighter side. She liked Captain Revan and the rest of the crew. After serving with a crew for over three years, you learn to like them. Vivian always respected the Captain. He had been around for quite some time. He certainly had had some experiences in his life. He had probably seen things that Vivian would had never dreamed of seeing. Sometimes, Vivian envied him. She hoped, that someday, she could be the Captain of her own vessel...
"Ah!" Vivian exclaimed, jumping out of her seat and clapping her hands together, with that big smile still spread across her face. "Good to see you! I haven't seen you all in a while? How did the mission go?" Vivian asked, oblivious to her rambling. "Oh! Sorry! I doubt you came here for a social visit. What do you need, Captain?" Vivian asked, still displaying her quirky smile.

((Yes, please, from now on, label your current location, thank you ))
--USS Eagle Star, Sickbay--
The Captain smiled at the CMO. A diligent officer, the ever-perfectionist, Revan was always glad to have Lieutenant Robinson as his Chief Medical Officer. He could conjure up no equivalent to her.
Revan was definitely glad to be back aboard his ship now, even if he was in the location that every crewman feared most, save for the medical staff. Sickbay.
This only because of the variety of memories it conjured up--and everything else associated with the location.
Revan began to respond as Vivian completed her greeting, stating, "The mission went well. We found some interesting things on the planet, but at a price. Each and every one of us is injured, especially Commander Shorn, and secondly Commander Marley. We need, obviously, some treatment." His smile broadened into a brighter, more friendly smile, yet slightly jokingly. "What's your prognosis?"

Vivian was sitting before the Captain and the others, listening to his review of the recent mission. She had decided to sit back down at her computer console during the Captain's explanation. As she listened to the Captain's speech, Vivian sat, with her legs crossed, nodding every few seconds or so, after the Captain would say something important.
Vivian smiled, after listening to Captain Revan's explanation of the past mission.
"Sounds like you had quite an adventure, Captain." Vivian said, still smiling. Seconds later, Captain Revan explained their "conditions", to her. Vivian stood up and flattened the sides of her uniform, smoothing the creases with her tan hands.
"My prognosis, eh, Captain?" Vivian repeated, with a fake serious look on her face. "Well...I can't say anything until I've examined my patients, now can I?" Vivian laughed and pointed to the empty Bio Beds in the corner. "Just have a seat at those Bio Beds. I'll go grab my tricorder and I'll fix you all up, all right?" Vivian laughed. "Well? Chop, chop! I'm a very busy woman!"
Vivian briskly walked across the room and picked up a spare medical tricorder off of the main desk. She activated the tricorder as she walked back towards the others.
"Well, not really..." Vivian joked. "I've actually been quite bored the last few hours." Vivian sighed. "Am I rambling, again? Sorry, Captain." Vivian's cheeks turned a bright pink. Vivian had picked up most of her "traits" and "habits", aboard Deep Space Nine, where she served as the Head Nurse with Doctor Julian Bashir. In many ways, Vivian and Julian were quite alike. "I have a habit. Sorry, I've been working on it. You know how it is...us girls love to talk." Vivian sighed, placing her spare hand on her hip. "Alright...let's begin the examination, shall we?"

"Of course, Doctor," Revan said, leading the others to the biobed. He made it clear through his body positioning and gestures that he would go last, stating, "I'd suggest that you examine Commander Shorn first. He is by far the most needy of it."
One of the security officers, the most heavily injured one, layed down on another biobed, and the Captain motioned for Taylor to take the seat bed. After all, the alien machines hit him just the same.

Taylor shook his head. "I'm fine," he said. "Really, I--oww!" He doubled over in excruciating pain from his shoulder. The engineer stumbled over to the biobed. "Maybe I should take a seat."

Vivian raised her eyebrows, in a worried manner, at Taylor. She watched the man, suspiciously, as he sat down at a Bio-Bed. He looked like he was in bad shape. She couldn't help but wonder at what had happened to the poor man.
Vivian turned on her heel, to face the Captain. She looked at him with a funny look in her eye.
"Maybe I should look at Taylor, here-" she motioned to the injured man sitting on the Bio-Bed behind her. "-first. He looks pretty bad." Vivian shrugged and turned back, to face Shorn on another Bio-Bed. "Then, again...Commander Shorn doesn't look too good, either. What happened to you, Commander?" Vivian looked down at her tricorder. "I can't make any
sense out of these readings..."

Shorn looked at the doctor and stared down at his wounds.
"Some type of...animal attacked me," He explained, "The tricorder reading back on the shuttle implied that it had poison tipped claws..."

Vivian nodded, in agreement.
"I see the poison now. It shouldn't be too hard to heal." Vivian explained, with a cheery smile.
Vivian turned and rummanged around, in a drawer, for a certain hypospray. After several seconds of searching, she found the hypospray she was looking for. The hypospray was filled with a certain kind of anti-biotic that worked on almost any kind of poison known to man.
Brandishing the hypospray, Vivian turned to face the wounded Andorian. She pulled the Andorian man's sleeve up and injected the hypospray into his vein.
Afterwards, she pulled out her tricorder to see if the hypospray had done its job. It had. There was no trace of the poison any longer. She sighed in relief, as she snapped the tricorder shut.
"Well...the poison is gone." Vivian said, happily. "Now...I have to close up those wounds..." Vivian turned and plucked out another hypospray, used to sterilize wounds. Using it, she sterilize and seal the wound. Afterwards, she put the hypospray back and pulled out a dermal regenerator, to eliminate any tissue scarring. She used the regenerator and the nasty wounds that were once marked onto his body had disappeared, almost instantly. Vivian let out a nother sigh. "That should do it, Commander." Vivian said, with a smile. "Next?"

Revan looked at Marley and then back at the doctor. "I think it'd better be me next, Doc," the Captain said. "I'm needed on the bridge. I have a report to file and a first officer to chat with."
He smiled his friendly smile as he began to take Shorn's place on the biobed.
He sat down and looked at the doctor, stating, "I'm just a bit bruised up is all, Doctor. My back and head are in pain, and I have a couple cuts. Nothing major. I wasn't directly attacked by one of those wolves like Shorn, or shot at like Marley, so it's not that bad."

Vivian nodded to the Captain as he sat down at the Bio-Bed before her, taking Commander Shorn's place.
With the dermal regenerator still in hand, Vivian sealed up and healed his multiple cuts and bruises. As the Captain had said...Nothing major. Captain Revan should be fine. His wounds were not nearly as bad as Commander Shorn's wounds were.
When she had finished, she sat the dermal regenerator back into the tray to the side of her. She clapped her hands together, with a gleeful look on her face, the one you would have after accomplishing a task, and sighed, happily, blowing up her long brown bangs as she did so.
"Well...that should do it, Captain. You can go off and do your work now. I know how busy you are..." Vivian ended that last bit with a wink, before she turned back to the others, the smile still displayed on her face. "Okay...Marley, you're up."

Revan nodded and smiled at the good doctor. He was, yet again, glad to have her on board. She was definitely an intrical part of the crew, and he couldn't imagine life on the Eagle Star without her.
The Captain hopped off the bed and headed for the exit. Upon entering the corridor he headed for the turbolift.
Once inside James ordered to the computer, "Bridge," and the device sped up, taking him to the bridge.
A moment later the doors slid open, revealing the sleek, familiar, pleasant sight of the bridge of his starship.
Sitting in the Captain's chair was his XO, and as Revan stepped out of the turbolift the officer at the tactical station stood tall, at attention, and proclaimed, "Captain on the bridge!"
"At east, Lieutenant," the Captain replied with a smile, and said, as he looked up at him, "Commander Souray, please join me in my ready room."
The Captain then led himself to the office.

((And so with the end of school, Commander Souray returns!))
USS Eagle Star, Bridge
Sheldon Souray turned his head around as he heard the Lieutenant declare the Captain's presence. According to what the Ops officer had told him there were mild injuries. Seemed rather awkward for a simple scan of the planet...
Nothing eventful had happened to the Eagle Star on it's short trip away from the away team. Medical supplies were delivered to a much appreciative Geneva Colony, and after that the ship returned to its present location.
Souray got out of the Captain's chair and made his way to the ready room as commanded, he entered and sat down in the chair opposite the Captain.
"Yes, sir?" Souray asked. He wanted to know what happened, he was curious. He was also quite sure that's why he was called into the room.

-Taylor's Quarters-
Taking that he had a clean bill of health, Taylor stopped by his quarters. He was anxious to see his family again, and they welcomed him when he returned.
"Michael is doing so well in his studies," said Megan. "And all he talks about is joining Starfleet."
"Well, there will be plenty of time for that in a few years," Taylor replied. "And how's Anna?"
"Also well, although I think she is taking the loss of her goldfish rather hard. Maybe you could talk to her. . . ."

((We shall hereby operate under the assumption that it took me 10 minutes to arrive at the Bridge, that I stopped along the way, and that Marley got that clean bill of health.))
--USS Eagle Star, Ready Room--
Revan smiled at his first officer, and friend. He had known the man for some time now, had worked with him through a number of different incidents in the past. Sheldon was a solid officer with a good record, and a phenominal first officer.
"You wanted me to tell you what happened, Souray," he said, calling the man by his usual knickname for him, his last name, "and I'm giving it to you." The Captain motioned for the first officer to take a seat, and began his report.
"Well, when we arrived to the planet, Dantooine, we began our scans and found something of greater interest to us than simply the radiation emitted by the planet. The planet had a settlement consisting of a decent amount of formerly Federation citizens who had migrated there years ago. It also contained several aliens of different species, including a rather arrogant race that is terrorizing the populace." He paused briefly.
At any rate, James continued, we began to search the area, ran into a few poisonous wolves and raider aliens, all that good stuff, he smiled jokingly, and, at last, arrived at the source of the radiation. Namely, an ancient structure within a hill. This structure, mind you, was incredibly ancient, yet intriguing, as well as large. Upon entering it there was a large chamber, and we followed through to another one. This chamber, however, had two doors on either side--to the east and the west--which led to two smaller chambers, as well as another entrance ahead, to the north.
This chamber, however, contained, unlike the first, an ancient holoprojector which projected an interactive hologram of unknown origin, emanating the appearance of a seemingly extinct race called the Architects.

-USS Eagle Star, Corridor-
Shorn was walking down the long winded corridors of the Federation starship. He was grateful to be onboard once more. It was touch and go for a while on that planet. He hoped that he would never have to see it again. The Andorian wondered what had happened in that temple or cave the others went into. Revan did not go into full detail about it. He trusted the captain and knew the man would tell him when he could. Shorn walked into the turbolift and called for the bridge...

Captain Revan paused for a second, and then began to elaborate. These Architects apparently ran a massive expansionist empire millennia ago--an empire which seems to have included Bajor, among others--perhaps even Earth, or at least, from their perspective, itself.
The Captain rose and began to walk towards a display case on the side of his wall, displaying several starships of different eras and classes, as well as the several awards he had obtained.
A fascinating thing that the hologram discussed was of something he titled the Star Gate. My guess is it leads to some other region of space, a great distance away. His face turned not quite grave, but rather more serious than before as he eyed his First Officer closely. I fear that there may be something great to do with this Star Gate that we should be concerned about. The hologram spoke of it being a powerful force of sorts. It told us that it was programmed to answer any questions prompted to him by an Architect, should one return in the future, and that his job was to act as a guide, if you will, for one who might return in a quest to find information about the Star Gate.
Apparently the machine was wrong, as, after answering questions and fending off two deadly machines in both the room to the right and the room to the left, when we entered the chamber in the back, after successfully opening it, there was almost nothing to be found. All that was there was a small console-panel device that, when a button on it was pushed, brought out a powerful crystal of sorts, the source of the radiation--radiation which is not like any kind Ive ever seen. He took his seat once again. Taylor noticed that the crystal was out of phase with the space-time continuum, as was the room. There was some sort of temporal disruption present--a disruption that seemingly caused the radiation to be as harmful as a tickle of a childs belly.
For some reason I had the overwhelming urge to touch it, and I did. This caused me to view numerous vivid, albeit vague and odd, images of the past, present, and future--images which I, for the most part, did not recall. I suddenly flew back and nailed against the wall, unconscious and damaged for a moment. The door to the chamber began to close, and we rushed out of the room, Taylor, Rox, and I all safe. Everyone else was back at the ship, though one security officer did die earlier on in the mission. His face was vividly sad as he discussed this part, shaking his head. Unfortunately. Shorn had been greatly injured but returned to the runabout with the other security guys; there were no other casualties.
His head was down, saddened, for a moment, but then he looked up and removed the upset expression, attempting to stay mellow. I have no idea what happened, exactly. What happened on that planet is still a mystery to me, Souray. It was thestrangest experience of my life.
He thought for a second, and then inquired, Any questions? How did your assignment go? Were the medical supplies delivered on time to the colony?

-- USS Eagle Star, Ready Room --
Souray raised an eyebrow at the story, but when all was said by the Captain he let out a mournful sigh. A crewmember had been killed on an exploration mission on a planet thought to possess no inhabitants.
"I'll have funeral arrangements made for the officer," Souray started, "Along side the tragic death it still seems as if you all had quite an eventful away mission. It's unfortunate I couldn't help. This makes me curious... The cystal, the Ancients, this so called 'Star Gate'. You're right, all potential threats, though, on the other hand there could be great scientific gains or a vast new area to explore through all of this... We'll definately have to delve deeper into the matter..."
Souray paused for a moment, recollecting the rendez-vous at Geneva Colony.
"The supplies arrived on time and were much appreciated. There were no difficulties or delays what-so-ever," Souray reported happily, yet at the same time one could pick up in his tone that he wanted something eventful to take place; he was bored.
