Has anyone watched What's New, Scooby-Doo?

I think it's great. I caught some episodes recently, and I think it's very true to the spirit of the old Scooby cartoons, but at the same time, it's a little more sophisticated and modern. It's not always a good thing when they make a new cartoon of a classic favourite, but I think the new Scooby-Doo cartoons are very well-written.

Okay, 95% of Scooby-Doo plots are about the gang investigating a monster/ghost/zombie/werewolf/alien, etc. However, it's the destination that's important, not the journey. Some of the new episodes are very well-written, the plots can be sophisticated at times (but still accessible to young viewers), and they're just good fun from beginning to end.

I like the way they've made the show contemporary, what will the gang using cell phones, and with them accessing the internet when they need to. They're all nice touches, and if any episodes happen to be on when I'm at home, I shall enjoy them. Sadly, there's no Scrappy (I liked Scrappy), but you can't have everything, I guess.

Well, I like Scooby Doo, including the Scrappy character, but I don't like What's New, Scooby do? I can't quite point out anything specific right now, but I can't say that I enjoy watching it in the least.

Okay. If you think of any specific reasons why you don't like it, I'd be interested in hearing them, RM.
