My bed is currently lofted a la College room style. But I want a Japanese style bed, just on the floor, nothing fancy. I sleep best that way.

It's just a matress basically on the ground. Sometimes made of certain material.

The only problem I had with Ikea is their children's beds are ugly

We have a picture from Ikea in the living room.

i gots a top bunk, trundle style bed with the bottom mattress removed and the frame being used for storage of laundry we are too lazy to put up... i share my room with 3 ppl ...... and it is decorated with pink and purple carebear bed set plus a skwish pillow and 3 or 4 other extra comforters plus a blue cloud throw blanket just incase i get too hot or cold at night i can choose to use nothing, a sheet or any number or thickness of blankets
