Aw, thanks ^.^

I do have a bunch more stuff, I just need to spend the time to scan them in

And I'd love to see the staircase! Or at least concept sketches if there are any

Looking forward to seeing them.

Regarding the staircase, she still in the talking stage of it and collecting pictures from books at the moment, but I will let you know what she's up to once she gets started on it.

I finally got my pics scanned in! It took me about an hour or more to get them all scanned, cropped, etc. o.O I'm probably going to break them into a few different posts, just so that they don't get too long.

Oh, and don't mind the lines of the bodies, I left them in for referance so that when I go back in on the computer I can make bases

This one is based off of the character Death in the graphic novel series 'The Sandman' ^.^

I wanted to do a cute one ^.^

I love this one! It's just outside of my norm, so I was really happy that it came out the way it did.

Last one...

So proud of the feathers...

This is based of of Tatania in the series 'The Sandman'. I am so proud of the shading!

This one is my favorite of the bunch by far. It is loosely based off of the style fo Mucha, but not any particular piece. *clings to sketch*

Those are just awesome, Trekkiemage

You definitely have a natural talant that I admire.

I like looking at art from the early stages of its design, so I, for one don't mind seeing the sketch lines.

*ego inflates*

I like seeing unfinished art as well, it helps me see how the artist works on things. Some people start from one spot or place (like the face) and finish it, then move on. Other people work all over and finish things at about the same pace so that it looks finished/semi-finished at almost any point. It really is facinating

Oh wow! these are so very pretty! I couldn't even imagine, wow!
You've out done yourself four times over

Are you going to colour any of these in? They would make pretty backgrounds

Art Nouveau fan, then Trekkiemage?

I was sat looking at them and wondering what style they reminded me of, then as soon as I noticed that you had mentioned Mucha... the penny dropped.

A lovely sensual art style. Good choice.

Mrs. Vulcan: Yes I am an Art Nouveau fan I love the very organic, neo-classical style, it's really inspiring to me.

z-i-p-p-y: Thankies ^.^ I was really proud of this batch, I've been pushing myself to go just outside of my comfort zone (new poses, etc.) so yeah, I'm liking this stuff

Mkay, I just found out that I'm actually getting my new computer next week! Yay! I was thinking it would be the end of the summer...

Anyways, I've been spending the past few weeks working on coloring in one of my sketches on the computer. When I got my scanner I got a slightly better cheap rip-off image editing program. So here's what I did:

The lines are still scratchy around the edges and something is off with the legs/feet (but it's the same way in the sketch), but I think that'll get better with practice

Well, what can I say... it's come on really well.

Like you said, the edges are a bit scratchy but the shading and perspective are looking good. She's cute!!

Well done!

Are you going to do any of your other art work?

Thank you ^.^

Hopefully I'm going to do this to some of my other sketches. But I think I'm going to make them a LOT smaller. The size on this one made it tough (I shrunk it a lot before I put it up, it was a lot bigger before).

I'm probably going to hold off until I get my new computer, that way I have more space/better programs and schtuff.

[edit] D'oh! I just realized I forgot the shading under her hair (on her forehead). I was wondering why that looked off

I just scanned in another piece I did, I know I haven't posted anything in a while. I figured I'd just continue posting it here, even if it isn't strictly Trek fanart (more Alphonse Mucha fanart )

And an edit I did of it:

The text is a bit destracting, but I still like it ^-^

Yeah, the site kind of killed the size. Maybe I'll get a better copy up.

wow! I really like the colours you've used on the weather witch!
The other one really reminds me of those vintage bags I've seen about

Thank you!

That was the first drawing I did this school year that I was really happy with.
