|
(I know i made this topic in Fan Fiction early today, but hardly anyone really goes in their and i need advice on this now, as i plan on giving it to as a early present tommorow. So i am sorry for double topicing.)
Hi everybody...
My girlfreinds brithday is coming up on the 13th and i wrote something for a card i am designing and i want to know what you all think about it:
Front Cover:
For my Girl Friend,
Words alone
can not express
just how special
you are.
Inside Text:
Knowing you is the nicest thing
that ever happened to me...
Knowing you has made the world
a happy place to be...
Happy BirthDay
To a Wonderful Freind
Added Second Page:
I want to wish
you a happy
Birthday from the
deepest area of my heart. I
know this is not much and if i could
i would get you a
laptop, but my fund's are limited at the moment,
So i hope that you accept this
small token of my Affection(The Card) and Care(The Inclosed Money) for you.
Patrick
Pen Added Text:
Every time i see
you it brighten's my
day, so i want to wish
you a happy
birthday and
here's to many more.
Love Patrick...
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The () area's are not on the card i just added that to help get my point threw. She will get what it all means, the reason i want to buy her a laptop is cause she is not all that well off and can't afford one so i let her use mine when i can, and i truly do want to get her one but like i said... So what does all of you think of it?

Awww...That's really sweet (<--My immediate reaction)
It does seem like there's a good bit of text though. (<--brief second opinion)
But it really works nicely, especially considering the content of said text
Are you going to draw/design any images on the card? Calligraphy could be really nice if you knew how to do it. And I doubt it would be difficult to do some simple stuff for you if you didn't know. That's the nice thing about those pens, all you have to do is write neatly and consistantly and it looks great.
