I was working on a pic for John Connors new RPG and lets just say i go side tracked, and i came up with this:
Well what do you think of her?
Note: I did not make the chick, it is a screenshot from a show or some thing like that.

Hmm. I take it by the lack of interest that no one likes anime here.

I didn't see this thread yesterday...must have overlooked it.
It's very nice, but I think it would have been more impressive had you actually drew the girl, especially since she is the central focus. But the composition is well done

It just takes practice
There are also a lot of good tutorials out there on how to do graphic design (specifically figures/people) From my point of view (and I've never actually done digital art yet, I'm just doing lots of pencil and paper) the folds would be the only really difficult part of that drawing. Her hands are in a simple pose, and her face is direct, not turned or tilted. Hair isn't as difficult as it seems, you've just gotta relax and not over-control it.
And practice. Lots and lots of practice
Although somehow it feels really strange to give you advice like that, since you always seem to be a better artist than me...

Post some of your stuff. I'd be willing to bet you're better than me at it...Besides I'd love to be able to digital art like that. Someday hopefully (I've got a friend who's going to give me some stuff that she doesn't use anymore - graphics tablet and photoshop - when she remembers to actually bring it over )

Oooh...We should all switch medium at some point. You, me, Pat, and z-i-p-p-y (haven't seen her around for a while though). That would be fun
