Well i am not gay and i am on it. and i was wondering who esle here does this amazing form of art? I got started in it in high junior by my girlfreind, i still like it and partipace in it, it is a great thing that i would reccommed you get in if you like dance meet band style things.

I used to be in the Winter Percussion Line... which performs at the same competitions as Winterguard.

I was a drum major for my High School marching band.

You were Drum Major, cool. i wanted to be a drum major when i was in band but that did not work out to well, so i just settled with being the male captain in Color/Winter Guard.

That's totally cool! I totally respect the color guard for what they do. I don't have the coordination to spin flags and rifles like that

I'm just a drummer! ^^

Actually its not as hard as one thinks, just need a good since of deep preseion(Spelled Wrong) and hand-eye coordination.

OK, but I don't understand where rifles come into a marching band.

Maybe they can enlighten me?

I was in color guard in high school. We called it Flag corp. The rest of the marching band called us, "flaggets." Silly band geeks. [/i]

Looks like it would kill me, most likely by a blow to the head as I wildly miss the rifle falling....

/me has no depth perception and very poor coordination.

I'm in color guard and pep band. I love being a "flaggie" and being in pep band is alright. I would like pep band better if they'd let me do vibes. I finally have the hang of it (sorta) but I'm doing xylo and I SUCK at xylo.
