I don't agree with these.

One of the worst sequels is The Blair witch II. One of the best is Jurassic Park II and Spiderman II.

I forgot to say this list was composed by Entertainment Weekly. (In case you didn't clue into the EW)

I haven't seen a few of the movies, but I don't disagree with the ones I have seen.

I thought Oceans 12 sucked. I tried watching it twice, and never got to the end.

Whoah! I didn't even know they MADE a sequel to the Blair Witch Project! What a waste of time.

I don't particularly agree with:

1. Blues Brothers 2000
2. Star Wars - The Phantom Menace ((This is because the Star Wars set was SUPPOSED to go back for a prequel, slightly confusing, but that's like saying they shouldn't be making anymore Harry Potter movies...it's a SERIES!))
3. Star Trek V: The Final Frontier

The worst sequel ever is Ginger Snaps 2. It's basically a bunch of flashbacks and drug abuse.

Providing that a sequal is the same thing as a sequel , I haven't seen most of these, but from what I have seen I disagree with the following:

4. Blues Brothers 2000 (Well, haven't seen much at all of this one, but I'd probably disagree)
5. Batman And Robin
12. Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace (Not a sequel--it's a prequel--so that negates it in and of itself, but I do catch your meaning, and I disagree. It may have its faults, but it's a great move. After all, it's SW )
17. Star Trek V: the Final Frontier

I wouldn't say that that was a bad sequel... Afterall, you can't get much worse than the first. Being the fine piece of cinematic art that it was...

Dude, you should so like, email Entertainment Weekly for not knowing how to spell. Or something.

Anyway, they explained why Episode 1 could be counted. It was rather blah, IMESHO.

I should, shouldn't I? lol
Bah. I can determine their reasons without reading anything, and though I agree with some of them, it doesn't make it a bad, um, prequel.

Matrix Reloaded was the WORST sequel I have seen. It was so bad, the Wachowski brothers admitted they just made it to set up Revolutions. Which was almost as bad as Reloaded.

Every SW movie prequel should be on there. Phantom menace was the best one. Attack of the Clones was just....*ugghhg* Revenge of the Sith was just a little better. Still junk.

But to the stupid people at Entertainment Weekly it's a sequel. Actually, excuse me. It's a sequal, with an 'a'.

Both Matrix Sequals sucked majorly. They turned it into a freaking glorified chick flick with them only focusing in on the relationship between the lead character and the broad whatever her name was.

I totaly agree with Friday the 13th part 8 they strayed way too far from the premise of the movie franchise.

Episode 1-3 was more tailored (SP) to little kids when they used all the CGI Muppets.

I think the Matrix Reloaded and Revolutions are one of the best movies i have ever seen. Same thing with Star Wars Episode I, II and III. III being the best.

For once...I agree with you 100%.

I like how the anti-Matrix sequel fans contribute nothing. They don't give real reasons to why it was "bad".

I've only seen the first of them, so I can't speak of them. But when I do, I'll let you know what I think, for sure.

Even, Episode III is on number 2 of my best movies ever seen. And Revolutions on 4.

I didn't care for Star Wars II, mainly because I thought the love scenes with Anakin and Amadala were rather poorly acted, which distracted from what was actually a pretty good plot. Finally the two of them grew up for Episode III and were actually believable.

Star Wars I was ok, though it kind of ruined the mystery of the force to say that it resulted from having little creatures in the blood. And Amadala looked very uncomfortable in her outfits (like they were going to fall off or break if she moved her head independently from her body).
