Ziona nodded quickly and moved over to the tactical station. She hit a few buttons, calibrating the systems and getting ready. After a moment, she glanced down at her hands and noticed that some blood still spotted them from working on Ian's knee. She brushed her hands quickly against her pants, trying to rid herself of the crimson stains.

"Systems ready, sir." Ziona announced.

For some reason, Ziona was suddenly aware that she was sans her jacket, standing on bridge with just a grey tanktop. She suddenly felt exposed and shifted her eyes quickly from Ian to the other people on bridge.

--Elerra Prime, Temple Exterior--
The doors to what now appeared to be a subterranean temple opened magically and Fito, sensing the powerful presence down there, began to slowly walk down the steps, closer and closer to the presence, cloaked...

Outside the Nautolian Compound--
Phaser and disruptor blasts ricocheted back and forth outside the back entrance. Finally, with no casualties to Ion Team, all the Cardassians were gone. Killed. Dead. On the ground.
However, the Nautolian remained.
"Attack pattern Ceron," Lieutenent Tantor ordered. This order declared that all team members were to converge on the Nautolian in a game of cat and mouse...
The team did as ordered, including Major Katran, and within a few moments time, after a tough fight, the Nautolian was dead with only one team injury--minor.
"Begin door breach procedure!" Katran ordered, indiscriminately.
All but one officer--Johnson, the tech of the team--spread out to provide cover. Johnson ran up to the entrance and attempted to open the door. It didn't work, and so he reached in and grabbed a device which would open the door by sending an electromagnetic surge through it.
He placed the device on the center of the door and moved back. Several seconds later the door sped open and Johnson motioned for the rest of the team to join him, grabbing the device and putting it away.

-Elerra Prime, Temple Interior-

The Titan watched the steps as Fito's tantive foot steps could be heard in the distance. It smiled inwardly, evolution not letting it have the capability to smile outwardly. The Zalbogians kept to the shadows, watching and waiting for the Titan to make the first move. It sat in a throne like chair at the opposite side of the entrance. The large creature didn't both to use hallucinations. Fito's unique evolution allowed it to percieve fact from fiction. Studying it would have been fun. Even teaching it more power than it could imagine. Sadly, Fito declared war on the Federation. A group of people who controlled his world. Getting them to leave was all that mattered....

-Elerra Prime, Romulan Filled City-

A Romulan officer walked into Admiral Donatra's office. She was looking over for future plans. Plans to return to Romulus.

"Yes?" She said to the officer, not looking away from her work.

He held out a PADD.

"Admiral," He said, "I would like to test out weapons that were repaired on DSG."

She looked up at the orders and nodded.

"The weapons have been repaired?" She said, "Already? Thats record time. I'll say one thing for that station, they're effecient."

She took the PADD and approved the request.

"We don't have holodecks here," She said, "Where will you test them?"

The Romulan smiled and pressed a button on the PADD.

"We were given directions to test here," He explained, showing her, "Its out of the way of any wilde life and only a few ruins are there. A good distance from the city."

She rose an eyebrow.

"Are you sure?" She questioned.

The officer quickly nodded.

"Yes Admiral," She said, "I spoke to the chief of security onboard the station. If he can't be trusted, who can?"

USS Guardian, Bridge

Juliana and Yelia were relieved to see the Captain and the rest of the crew, again. Yelia followed the Captain's orders and headed over to the OPS position. Captain Xavier was right. Yelia was a civilian doctor. She had never served aboard a starship. She knew a bit about the way a starship runs by being aboard Deep Space Guardian, but, Yelia didn't know if she was capable of doing the job.

Yelia shrugged and sat in the OPS chair. However nervous she was, the Captain was right. The ship was understaffed.

"I'll just have to try my best..." Yelia thought, as she eyed the different buttons and panels in front of her. She sighed. "This might be harder than I thought..."

Meanwhile, Juliana approached the Captain.

"At last!" Juliana exclaimed. "I thought that everyone had died!" Juliana then noticed the Captain's bloody wound. "How did you get that?" Yelia, overhearing the conversation, got up and approached the Captain.

"That looks pretty bad..." Yelia muttered. "Are you feeling okay?" Juliana shook her head.

"You can answer questions later..." Juliana said, taking the Captain's arm. "You need to get to Sick Bay..." Juliana suddenly remembered that the area in and around Sick Bay had been damaged. The Sick Bay was in a state of ruin.

"The Guardian's Sick Bay would not be a good place to treat a wound as severe as the Captain's." Juliana thought, scratching her head. "I will just have to do it here...I hope I can..."

"The Sick Bay is in ruins. I'll have to treat the wound here, on the Bridge." Juliana stated. She gestured to Yelia. "You are going to help, okay?" Yelia nodded.

"As always, Juliana." Yelia replied, with a weak smile. Juliana nodded.

"Good...now...Captain. I need to see your wound." Juliana looked around for a decent place to inspect it. She noticed the bench near the Captain's chair. "Lay down on that bench." Juliana pointed to the short bench; just long enough for the Captain to lay down on. "Doctor's orders..." Juliana felt funny, being able to order the great Captain Xavier about. She stifled a laugh.

Ian obeyed the doctor, reluctantly of course. He layed out on the bench and stared at Yelia.

"Ensign?" He said, "I need her at the helm. Time is of the essence. You're gonna have to heal me on your own..."

He motioned towards the helm.

"Please," He said, "Prep us for take off."

Juliana nodded, reluctantly. She would feel better with someone else assisting, but, what the Captain says, goes. Juliana turned and nodded to Yelia.

"Go!" Juliana commanded. Yelia nodded, hesitantly, and rushed off towards the helm.

Once, again, Yelia was back in the chair. She looked at all of the computer panels and buttons. She was perplexed.

"Start it up? How do I do that!?" Yelia thought, her worried eye's examining the multiple buttons and whatnot. She had no clue of what to do.

Yelia turned around and faced the Captain, her cheeks bright red.

"Uh..." Yelia muttered, scratching her Bajoran nose. "What do I do?" Yelia put on a weak smile. Juliana shook her head.

"Figure it out!" Juliana snapped. Yelia nodded and took a deep breath. Juliana turned back to the Captain. In her left hand, she held her tri-corder.

"Now...Let's see what is wrong with you..." Juliana smiled and began to look over the man's body with the tri-corder. The tri-corder beeped every few seconds during the examination. From what the tri-corder said, it appeared that Captain Xavier's leg was fractured and one of his arteries, luckily a minor one, had been damaged. However, this meant surgery. "I'm gonna have to operate." Juliana stated, looking at the Captain sympathetically.

--Elerra Prime, Temple Interior--
Fito nearly completed his entrance into the subterranean temple when the presence was far stronger.
He arrived at the end and noticed many strange beings of great power, one of them in particular. The Titan, no doubt.
Obsidian removed his hood which covered even his several headtails in a remarkable way, and walked forward. I am Obsidian, Imperator of the Nautolian Empire, he stated powerfully, in greeting. He was ready for anything.

--Akiama, Nautolian Compound Interior--
Ion Team, the group of DSG-regiment Special Operations officers on the planet, had successfully entered the compound--what was once a factory--through a Door Breach procedure.
The door suddenly shut behind them, sealing them off.
Looks like were locked out, boys, the 52 year old team commander said loudly. Lets keep moving, but keep your eyes openIt looks like theyve found us out.

Ian nodded to the young doctor and sighed. He looked up at the confused Yelia.

"There is a large green button," He said, "Press it twice. Then there are three seperate red circles. Tap the two furthest to the left. The ship will lift off. To your far right are blue controls. It controls the direction. Up button is up, down button is down, so on and so on..."

-Akiama, Facitlity-

Abazar was standing and waiting for Fito, when a Koinian approached him.

"Sir," He said, "We've trapped some Federation officers breaking into the building."

He sighed and nodded.

"Good..." He said, "Deal with them."

-Elerra Prime, Temple-

The large creatue rose and stood on its two weak feet.

"DO YOU REMEMBER ME CREATURE?" It asked.

It send vivid images of their first meeting a year ago. When Fito had just joined.

Ziona glanced hesitantly at Yelia as she stood near helm. It wasn't a great omen when your temporary helms officer didn't know what she was doing.

She shut her eyes quickly, said a half prayer to whatever god was watching over them, if any, and went back to monitoring her systems.

"Got it!" Yelia replied, after the Captain explained what to do. She still wasn't sure of some of the directions that the Captain had given her. To reassure herself, she spoke aloud, reciting what the Captain had said, before.

"Green button...press it twice." Yelia did so, tapping the big green button twice. Suddenly, the ship rumbled. Then, she could hear the sound of the engines. "All right...I think I've started it...now..." Yelia tried to remember what the Captain had said. "Oh! Right! The red circles!" She looked down at the computer console. There were three glowing red circles, on the far right of the console.

"Which one was it, again?" Yelia thought, scratching her head. After a moment's thought, her eye's widened.

"Oh! That's right! The two furthest to the left..." Yelia tapped both of them. Now, she could feel the ship lift off. It was hovering above the rocky ground. She was very nervous now. If she screwed up, it meant the lives of many, including herself. "Okay...it's off the ground...now...the blue directional buttons. I think I know what to do now!" Yelia sighed, a breath of relief. She managed to take the ship out of the cave, succesfully. Everyone on the Bridge seemed relieved. The feeling of tension was gone...for now. There still was a bigger task at hand.

Juliana was hard at work on Captain Xavier's leg. She had to rip part of his pant leg off, to be able to get at the wound. Using the tri-corder, she had sedated the Captain, to prevent him from feeling any pain. She then used the tri-corder to fuse the bones back together. Luckily, the bone was just fractured, not broken, which made the whole operation easier and faster. After the bone was mended, Juliana had to fix the artery. Using the tri-corder, she found the exact location of the burst artery. She pinched the area, to be sure. When she did this, the Captain's body seemed to jump. That was definately the spot. Juliana, using the tri-corder, tried to fix the artery from the outside. Because it was just a minor artery, the artery re-attached well. The surgery was complete. However, before she awoke the Captain, she did another full-body scan. He was fine.

"All right, Captain..." Juliana muttered, putting a hand on the Captain's head. "You should be fine, now..." Juliana used the tri-corder to wake the Captain up. "You are going to be a bit sore..."

Ian felt woozy, but better. His leg was healed, but his uniform ruined. He hobbled to his seat and sat.

"Thank you doctor," He said, "You would have made Dr. Shoran proud. Please, take OPS doctor."

He groaned and looked back at the helm. The Bajoran was doing good.

"Plot a course to 235 mark 56," He said, "The crew should be there."

He looked at the doctor.

"Beam them onboard." He ordered.

Obsidian was suddenly flashed with visions of his past encounter with the Titan being as he was told by it, "DO YOU REMEMBER ME, LITTLE CREATURE?"
Little, did he say? Fito thought. He was one of the most powerful beings in the galaxy and this being was calling him little, belittling his powers and abilities? Who did he think he was?
The Nautolian, however, just smiled, darkly. "Of course I remember you, you fool," he said. "What, do you think I'm some sort of incompotent idiot, having to show me those images like that? I remember you. I forced you away from the station, if I recall correctly." He smirked. Yes, he recalled correctly. The Titan could deny it all he wanted, but that was the case.
"Now..." he continued. "What is it that you want?"

Juliana was relieved to see the Captain well, again. Juliana also found it amusing that Yelia was at the Helm. Yelia was a totally unexperienced woman; a civilian doctor; yet she learned, quickly. She had already become accustomed to the helm. She might be an even better pilot than Juliana was...possibly...

"Beam them up..." the Captain had ordered. Juliana nodded.

"Right away, sir." Juliana replied. She looked down at the OPS console and pressed the glowing yellow button. "Done, sir. The transfer was succesful. The crew is onboard." Juliana sighed, relieved to have the rest of the crew back aboard.

Ian nodded to Julianna.

"Good work," He said, "We'll make bridge officers out of you yet."

He smiled, seeing things go right for once.

"Plot a course to the down Oath," He ordered, "And lock onto the lifesigns on the hull of the ship."

Juliana and Yelia felt confident at their abilities at their "temporary" positions.

"All right, Captain Xavier...We are on our way to the Oath." Yelia piped up. Juliana looked over to her and smiled. A few moments later, Yelia spoke, again. "We're above the Oath." Yelia said, turning back to face the Captain.

Juliana looked down at the console. She locked the transporters on the life forms on the ship's hull. Juliana turned to face the Captain.

"Should I beam them up?" Juliana asked.

"It should be two Humans and one Cardassian," He said, "Beam them up."

His eyes darted towards the nervous Bajoran.

"Hold position here," He said, "Bright blue button, dead center..."

Yelia nodded.

"Blue button, dead center...I got it." Yelia confirmed. Juliana was relieved. Yelia was really getting the hang of it.

Juliana looked down at her console. Her readings pointed out the two humans and the Cardassian.

"I have them locked. Beaming them up now, sir." Juliana reported. A moment later, the readings indicated that the transfer was succesful. She turned to the Captain, with a smile on her face. "There onboard..." Juliana said. Things were looking up.

Ian sighed in relief and wondered where to next. Suddenly the ship rocked hard from a hit from a phaser canon.

"Doctor!" He said, "Where did that come from?"

He looked at Yelia.

"Evasive manuavers!" He ordered.

Juliana and Yelia were both suprised by the mystery blast. Nothing was on the radar before.

"Doctor! Where did that come from?" Captain Xavier asked, worried.

Juliana tried to check with the scanners, but, they weren't working. The phaser blast must have knocked them offline.

"The scanners aren't working, Captain." Juliana reported. She turned to face the Captain. "I don't know where that came from."

Meanwhile, Yelia looked nervous.

"What do I do?!?" Yelia shouted, in fear.

"Evasive maneuvers!" the Captain barked at her. Yelia nodded, hesitantly.

"Evasive maneuvers?" Yelia thought, worried. "What do I do?" Yelia just followed her instinct and swerved to the right, away from where the phaser blast had come from.

Ian knew the phaser fire must have been from the Imperials on the surface. He just didn't know where. If Ziona fired downwards at the scouting party, she risked killing the prisoners still down there.

"Don't fire Ziona." He ordered.

The ship rocked roughly as it scraped along the hull of the Oath.

"Pull up Yelia!" He ordered.

Ziona nodded quickly to Ian.

"Holding fire, sir."

She watched as Yelia struggled with helm, though she had to admit the woman was doing a relatively good job. She would do even better if she didn't panic so much.

"You're doing fine, Yelia. Calm down... Just relax."

--Akiama, Nautolian Compound Interior--
There was little more than a wide path to a door, with posts up above for people to fire weapons at them. So far it didnt look to good as the team moved in the direction of the following entrance. Suddenly, however, there was a collapse that appeared intentional which blocked their entry.
Were outgunned! Katran shouted. Go for the door! We can get out!
No go, boss, the weapons officer said. Its a trap.
Suddenly a number of Cardassians and Koinians, disruptors blazing, appeared on the surrounding platform(s?) above.
Take cover! Katran proclaimed, and moved over to the side, taking some cover.
Theres a maintenance door to the left! tech officer Johnson proclaimed. It doesnt look like a traditional Door Breachll work, so lets blow it out!
Alright! First Lieutenant Brenn Tantor shouted. Well cover you, Johnson! Tantor then took up a position to cover the tech. Soon, he expected, they would come across a console that would lead them to the location of the ambassador.
Two members of Ion Team were grouped together at a point, firing their phaser rifles at the enemy from above. They provided principal cover for the tech officer as he began to fiddle with a device that would blow their way in. It would take some time for it to be fully armed and operational, so Ion Team would have to fight their way through.

From his position Major Kyle Katran fired his rifle at a Koinian, who collapsed to the floor, dead. There were too many of them
One thing this event taught Kyle was that they needed to work on the element of surprise. First thing they would do when they got back to the station--if they got back to the station--[/i] he would design a holosuite program just for that, to get that much-needed practice in.
How much longer? the major asked the tech officer, loudly.
I dont know, sir, Johnson replied. But we need all the time you can give us
Kyle was about to nod when he saw Corporal Miguel Hernandez collapse onto the ground.
Looks like we cant give you much time, Johnson! Kyle proclaimed. Officer down! Officer down!
Luckily Miguel was by another, one of the two providing cover for Johnson, so Kyle could just yell for a report.
Miguel--are you alright?! he shouted.
The guy next to him looked over to the Major. Hes gonna die if I cant give him the any medical assistance, he replied. This man was a Bajoran who happened to be especially keen on saving the ambassador. He was, as it happened, the medical officer on the team.

Katran pondered for a second the question as to whether or not they could heal the fallen officer and protect Johnson enough to get the explosive charge ready to blow.
Then he decided. They needed all the team members they could have.
You dont have long, he began, but do what you can. Well cover you.
The Bajoran nodded and bent down, reaching into his pocket to grab a hypospray.
He used it on the fallen human and then took a look at his wounds. Tantor ran over to the two, providing cover for them as the medical operations occurred.

From the other end Katran stood, firing his phaser rifle non-stop at a group of Koinians and Cardassians firing in his direction.
He shot one dead, causing him to fall on the platform. A Koinian jumped over him to get a better view of Katran, who had grabbed a smaller hand phaser with his left hand and suddenly fired it at the Koinian, taking up a secure position which should protect him for the time being as he fired.
If only Johnson could speed up that charge

There were two Johnson members of Guardian Special Ops--Josh Johnson, who remained on the Hawk, and Brian Johnson, one of the two Brians in Guardian Special Ops, the other residing on the ship at this time.
The Johnson here, however, was the official tech officer of the team, dealing in technical aspects of missions and whatnot.
He stood at the maintenance door, prepping a charge device to explode. He occasionally had to stop and fire his hand phaser at or dodge a blast from an enemy, but the cover provided for him did well enough.
Something like this, though, couldnt be done so well in the future, he figured. This was just luck. He needed to develop some sort of portable hologram to help him with these kinds of situations in the future
He suddenly digressed in thought when the charger lit green. Shes gonna blow! he shouted, grabbing his phaser rifle from the floor and running in the opposite direction.
Tantor side-stepped to get out of view, and with a loud bang the charge exploded, causing the door to thrust a large whole that they could merely walk through.
Alright, move in! the 2nd officer, Tantor, proclaimed, motioning for the team to follow. Ill cover you all!
The teams 1st officer, Kyle Katran, ran to join the group. He looked over at Miguel, who had risen and shouted, Can you make it!?
I think so, sir, Hernandez replied.
The Bajoran medical officer then added, Agreed. Hes well enough to keep going, sir, but well need to take a closer look at him when we get back!
Alright! Kyle, who was in a position which required him to fire at a Cardassian up above, proclaimed. Then shut the hell up and lets get moving!
A minute after that proclamation all the team members, except for Tantor, had entered through the entrance into a maintenance hallway. Tantor, from the other end, fired one more phaser blast with his rifle at a Cardassian and then jumped through the blown hatch, joining the group, which had already begun moving down the hallway.
Brenn. Since our weapons officer, he said, referring to Miguel, is hurt I want you to keep looking back and providing cover for us if one of those scumheads comes through the hatch behind us.
Aye, sir, Tantor replied, looking back every so often. He figured it was only a matter of time before they would be attacked again.
Lets speed it up, boys! Katran, who was remarkably physically fit for his age, ordered, beginning to jog ahead. There should be a room with a usable computer console up ahead soon

The Titan gave a very raspy laugh at Fito's response.

"INCOMPOTENT IDIOT WOULD BE AN UNDERSTATMENT FOR WHAT I THINK OF YOU," It said, "I WANT MY HOMEWORLD TO RETURN TO IT'S RIGHTFUL HEIR: THE ZALBOGIANS. TO GET THAT...MEANS YOUR DEATH."

The Titan took a stantive step forward and fire enveloped the sides of the temple.

"I KNEW YOU WOULD COME HERE," It coaxed, "YOU WOULD EITHER COME HERE OUT OF ARROGANCE OR STUPIDITY. IT DOESN'T MATTER WHY, BUT THE FACT IS...YOU WILL DIE..."

The long arm of the creature lifted up and several small Zalbogians crawled down from the pillars and rushed Fito...

-USS Guardian, Bridge-

Yelia continued to pilot the ship, while scratching the hull of the Oath. He was slightly annoyed with the situation.

"Pull up!" He yelled angrily, "I said!!!"

~Guardian, Transporter room~

Reed had his hands on Cruz and was surprised to see they were in a transporter room. He rocognized it as belonging to the Guridan. While holding Cruz still, he ran for the bridge...

Area where Archer is captured

Archer grunted again as pain soared though his body. The Cardassians were letting him know of thier displeasure of his escape attempt still. His eyes rolled up in his head as things began to darken...

-USS Guardian-

Consoles exploded in engineering as the ship scraped against the Oath. Alarms of all sorts went off around Grey, and he winced as he groped his way across engineering to the power transfer controls.

"Engineering to the bridge! What are you doing up there, trying to light a match with the hull?! Well whatever it is, we can't take much more of it. Structural integrity is at 53%!"

He boosted power to the inertial dampeners but knew it wouldn't be enough. If they didn't get out of the atmosphere soon, they'd sink rather than swim.
