Question: Is this a discussion solely about you, or about treating people with respect in general?

If it's the latter, I agree. Remember the golden rule? Treat people the way you want to be treated. All people should be treated with the respect and dignity they deserve.
Now, sometimes there are certain people who are real jerks who, IMO, don't deserve respect and whatnot, and sometimes there are instances where one feels incredibly angry or impassioned and therefore is prone to not doing the right thing, but to some regular shmoe on the street or whatever? You should treat them kindly, no matter what the background (unless it's evil, of course, but even then you shouldn't be too off).
But yeah. By chance could you you try to post in complete sentences next time so that it's not too confusing to understand what you're trying to say? It took a bit to figure it out.

I agree with some of what you are saying, that some of the people in power here, do at times act like jerks. But not all of them. And so basicly what RM said.

Well that's nice to know
I'm one of those people who sometimes gets angry and impassioned and says things that I shouldn't, but I always do try to be nice to people, and sometimes I'm not...but that's not intentional. Like I said, if someone's in a lower status than I am, so to speak, I don't look down on them and think, "Hey, you're a whatever" because of their status, position in life, etc. That's not right.
I remember once last year a friend told me that the reason a lot of people (off STV) don't like me was because I was too nice. And I was and often still am, if there is such thing as "too nice." Whenever I do something or say something to someone that's not nice (well, with the exception of my siblings, but that's a whole 'nother ballgame ) and whatnot, or I do something wrong, I usually apologize at some point. If you're just mean out of the blue and don't apologize for it, that's just not right.
People of all status and backgrounds deserve the right treatment and same level of respect, and when people are simply mean to people they don't like--and don't like for the wrong reasons, too--not only does that hurt the person's feelings, but it's just plain mean also. I can say that from years of personal experience.

I don't see anyone not liking you. Just because people don't post in your topics, it means nothing. You make topics about people fighting and stuff. Not good strong discussions. How about "What are the ramifications of the Dominion War on the Alpha Quadrant?" "Did Starfleet keep or scrap the future technology VOY brought back with it?" If you're going to make a vs topic, make it have sense. You put random ships there. Make it interesting. Something like "If a Fleet of Federation ships or Klingon ships or Romulan ships or Dominion ships had to fight a Borg cube, which empire would do the best?" Your topics have been done to death.

I don't think that any of his stuff here has anything to do with people at STV liking him or anything, epecially this topic. This topic, I would say, is about people treating other people with respect and stuff--what you do and what I do and what people should and shouldn't do to one another.
I, for one, think this is a fine topic. I see people being idiots every day and not treating people how they should be treated. Personally, I find that just dispicable. I don't get why we can't just, when there's no real reason to dislike someone, get along. Why do people have to make fun of others all the time, simply because they, say, use big words or are smart or like something? Why does one have to take out their dissatisfaction with themselves on others, simply because they don't like that person?
I, for one, am absolutely hated by this one guy at school. Why? No reason. Literally, no reason. He just hates me, and he's one of the biggest jerks I know, whenever I'm forced to talk with him or say something to him (which, thank God, has only happened once or twice this whole year). That's an example of something that's simply appauling to me. I don't get why people have to be that way. Can't we get beyond semantics or whatever the right word is and down to the true core of the human being?
Anyways, that's just another response to the topic.

Oh. Heh, again, confusing at the lack of punctuation, grammar, etc
Well, what I guess the topic turned into--a resonable topic--thanks to me is a good topic, then, lol. Point taken.
So, I guess this topic should continue to be about the thing I made it, then? lol, a topic about treating people with respect and stuff--the way you want to be treated?
