This is the insignia class starship, USS Cathexis, this is also my first attemp at actually doing 3D models,

Not trying to be mean but none of your images have copyright info on them, Now did you builted that insignia class ship or did you DL the mesh from some where? Cause if you DL it you have to put credit to the orginal Author of the mesh on the pic, Something liek Insignia by John Doe.
By the way what program are you using? Truespace, 3DS Max, Blender, Lightwave, What?

Uh still not trying to be mean but you have to put "Insignia by Mark Kingsnorth" on the pic, "Mesh by: www.startrekaustralia.com" well only lead to one thing you possible being sued for Mesh Fraud and Theft. I know these people and they take their work VERY sersouily and they require Credit where Credit is due. But it is a good start.

I am not trying to be mean i just don't like seeing good people get in trouble for things that can so easly be avoided. I know most of the makers of the meshs on Star Trek Australia, i have first hand knowledge on this, i myself have been sued for not suplying the proper Copyright/Credit info, trust it is not a fun thing to go threw.

Oh, no worries! I appreciate your advice!  As I said, we're either not going to use the images from Star Trek Australia, or give the proper credit to those who made them.

O.k.. I've been getting on allota folks nerves lately so I want Cathexis to know that I'm only speaking up because I consider her/him to be a friend of mine..
But uh...
Those black and white pictures with Mr. Kingsnorth Insignia class could get you in trouble also..

I'm just giving you a warning from one friend to another..
If Mark Kingsnorth sees those black and white pictures on your website without any credit to him he might go nuts..
Please trust me on this!
These guys are VERY protective of their art.. And sometimes folks forget that those ships are personal property when folks display anything with a distinct likeness its copy right infringement.. and things get crazy..
So I guess I'm pretty much showing the same concern Cappy Pat mentioned..
Mr. Kingsnorth is NOTORIOUS for getting pist and actually contacting website providers informing them of Copyright infringement!!
They even had special websites for these aritist where scores of trouble like harrassing emails from all of them threatning to take civil actions and blah, blah, blah..
I, jus like Pat have seen it happen first hand..
So beeeee careful

Wait, what are you talking about??? I created the black and white images of the Insignia Class....do you mean for me to give credit to Mr. Kingsnorth for meshing the Insigna Class starship??? Or for the images, which I myself created and saturated black and white? Because I have a copy of each of these images stating he created the original Insignia Class designs.
If this is true, I will definitely put them up in place of the non-accredited ones..
I also just e-mailed Mr. Kingsnorth asking for permission to use his meshes and asked for some clarifications etc. No worries!

He means that Mr. Kingsnorth created the Insignia design, much like how AUDI created the Angelfire and his other ships.
