Umm...again with the punctuation! It's hard to read what you write because there's no breaks in your sentences!

Anyway, Data...Just because he's part of Star Trek...

But realistically...hmm...ya, probably Data...Now, if it were the Terminator from the 2nd or 3rd movie...the bad guy...I'd have to say them...

Well, I don't see what's wrong with my second sentence...

When I typed the word "write" instead of "wrote," it's because I am referring to ALL of this person's posts...not just this one...and yes, looking at it now, I should have put "there are" instead of "there's." But other than that...at least you can read what I write...

And your grammar is something to brag about? If you take that second sentence literally, it doesn't make any sense. I'd suggest you get over yourself and not critique other people's posts.

Sorry about that accidental deletion.

I can read what the topic starter wrote, too. And apparently so can you, if you managed to respond.

How did you get your post behind mine? I responded to your post and then it was gone, and now it's back again, but behind my post...

Want you try to help the person instead of putting the person down Voyager2004. Pm him/her instead airing it out in public.

Data would win of course.

Depends on which Terminator. If it was the first one, Data would win. Second, Data's chances are less. Third, Data dies. (She has Nano-weapons!)

he said terminator, not Terminatrix.

The T-1000 and the Terminatrix would whipe the floor with data. But dtata would probably whipe the floor with Arnold.

It still counts. She was still a "terminator." She was after all sent to "terminate" John Connor.

Ya, Data would SO wipe the floor with Arnold. That is just a simple answer...the other two would wipe the floor with Data...and that's with Data taking them on individually, not 2 on 1...

But Data might be able to take out the second one...I guess it's the T-1000? I don't know their numbers and stuff...but he might be able to outsmart that one...and probably outSMART the third one, but as for anything else...nope...Data's toast...

the T-1000 is Liguid metal, how do you outsmart that? Unless you can find Lava.

i tihnk T-1000's Steel pins go straight through Data.

Outsmarting is also scenarion based of ocurse, depends on the location and situation.

I have a twist for you.

Data has an Off Button,

through a fight, if the first terminator Arnie was to get his hands on that then there wouldnt be much of a fight.

but in a pure fist fight it would be a hard choice, really

Data just knows how to fight.

He isnt built for the sole purpose of killing what ever indeded targot is.

remember the first terminator in all 3 movies,

put up a hell of a fight it still took a lot to kill arnie.

I think it would be a close fight
simply with the data on off switch
the fact that the first terminator's sole role was to kill where data is to learn and try and better himself and to work as a unit to help other's.

So I think it would be a close fight with the first terminator.
as for the 2nd movie with the liquid metal, it would depend on if Data had his fasor handy as a phaser would do a lot of damage to a liquid metal terminator.

As for the 3rd movie with the female terminator then it would be a prity easy fight where data probably would lose.

but not due to her nana tech more like her big gun, that would put a prity good hole in data,
but even if she didnt use any of her weapons then she'd still kick data's but cas shes more flexible and a better skilled fighting unit than data.

well there's my 2 sense as they say.

The Terminator aka Arnold can pickup things as heavy has a 16 wheeler. He can also crush a truck with one hand. Seeing as how Data is a mere andriod with a smarter brain...The Terminator surely has the greatest advantage because he doesn't need that much brain power to destroy someone.

Now if Data fights the Liquid T-1000 he has obviously no chance because all of his punches would go through the body and reforms back to shape.

If Data fights the Female Terminator aka Kristiana Loken. He also has no chance since she can make almost any weapon with her hands. Giving her the added advantage.

So.................Data will not win against any of these guys.

She can't make any weapon with her hands. She only has a EMP blast, a Flamethrower and Nanites.

But data is pretty indesctructable too. I remember in First Contact that that Woman shot at him and he didn't even react, i don't think the bullets even made a scratch.

ok...bullets versus being burned totally to bits...

bullets versus her emp blast...wouldn't that stop Data in his tracks...? I think it would.

I personal beleave your aka the last people to post are missing a point.

data has an ON/OFF button.

The only way the first terminator could turn himself of is if somebody else killed him,
or if he attacked something to he delibratly overloaded.

You are also missing the point
of terminators are built for 1 thing and that only.

To Kill.

data is programed to kill yes but not the same way a terminator is.

I am exluding the first or 2nd terminators in this 1 post,

Both data and terminator have roughly about the same strength.
But whilst data on the very first sight of terminator is still trying to work out how he got there and who he is and what he is,
terminator would have walked up snaped data's head and hit the OFF button.

I can't believe topics like this are thriving, but when I make a topic that forces people to think, its postless. Unbeliavable. It shows how downhill this site has gotten.

What is the basis of comparison for data and the terminator? What? Because they are two androids? They aren't much more similiar than that.

At least it would be better if it was within the Star Trek realm. Like a Soveriegn vs Defiant or something. But this? I mean at least Star Trek vs. Star Wars makes more sense, because both are arguably the most popular sci-fi shows/movies. But this?

We might as well make a topic of Seven of Nine vs. Pamela Anderson. Both are hott chicks, but nothing else really connects them. Same with this topic. Terminator has no real comparison to Data. Data was not built to kill. He was built just to be...Human. Or at least grow past his programing. The terminator...well....terminates things.

I don't understand why topics have been reduced to such mindless dribble.

You don't have to get the humor in the topic Founder, but you don't have to call it mindless dribble either. Its just a funny way of testing people's loyalties towards Star Trek. A real die hard Star Trek fan would say Data would win. Don't you see that?

Oh, and Seven of Nine would soooo win from Pamela

Yes. but so many "humor" topics have been made. There hasn't been a REAL discussion about Star Trek on this site for so long. I understand that the person probably just wanted everyone to say "Data!!!" but, there are more...thought provoking discussions like that. If its a one sided answer to test our "loyalty", then what is the point? Wouldn't it be more interesting to ask "Who had lesser rights? Data or the Doctor(EMH)?" I mean both are artificial. Both are considered less than Human. Both have gone through "rights and sentience" issues. Seems much more...worthwhile of a discussion. Wouldn't you say?

Oh, and Seven of Nine would soooo win from Pamela

This I will agree.
