Toren looked at Theo. "So, what do you say, Snipe?" he asked. He hoped Theo would be behind it. He would be key...

On the planet Sigza XI, Evadin was angry, Not just angry. Angry, and Wet, Soaked to the bone. He hated the rain,And it always rains on Sigza XI. He Didn't know why and he didn't care. On one Hand, he was glad to be given this chance by the milatary. However, Rain was of the few things he hated most. Next to cowards.. "Damn that Celo!" He muttered under his breath while looking for a place to stop and get dry. Some men found him in prison, they looked important, wearing fancy clothing and everything. And no matter how hard he tried,he couldn't remember their faces.. They offerd him this chance, and he tooks it. And With a plan that other prisoners came up with, and then haveing it backfire, Evadin took his time to carefuly plan his way out. And even then, It was a long and tireing process. In short, he was late for most of the mission. However, Celo sent him here on a transport that looked like it had been from the Federation-Romulan war. I t was old, it's was slow, and it smelled funny. Evadin found a small alley where he checked his weapons, then his Marine issued watch he had managed to keep through the last year or so in prision. Funny how things work sometimes. He then proceded to find a place where he could get dry, and maybe some food too..

~ Odium, Cockpit ~
Theo sighed. They had found out. This news wasn't good at all. Theo's memories flashed back to all the things he had done in the past to people, people much like himself, now. Theo clunched his teeth, the muscles from his jaw pertruded slightly as they flexed from the strain. He turned and faced Toren.
"I say if you keep calling me that I'll force feed you your own heart," he threatened, not feeling at all in a pleasent mood.
Theo walked up to Toren and looked him straight in the eyes.
"They're already dead, and if we go to try and save them on some false hope that they're still alive we'll be dead, too," Theo stated and began to walk away, "None of you realize what the Federation is capable of. None of you."
Theo left the cockpit and headed into the back of the Odium.

--Odium, Cockpit--
"And that bastard," Toren said to the others as he watched Theo leave, "doesn't realize what the Outrider and her crew are capable of. They can't survivie on their own, which is why we need to save them, but they can last out long enough for us to help them. I'm damn sure of it."
Fact is, the Outrider was one of--if not the--fastest ships in all of Orion space and the underworld. They were lucky to have won it from a certain scoundrel...
The ship could last a helluva long time, but only so long.

Aika shifted in her seat, rubbing her shoulder The pain was begining to disappate. She rotated her shoulder quickly and smiled as she continued down the hallway to the crew cabins.
Once inside her cabin, she sat down on a nearby chair and remained motionless, letting her mind wander.

Jack began to look at the 'menu' that was on a PADD for the replicator

"Want some company?"

Aika shrugged.
"Shoulder is a little numb, but I'm not in pain, so that's good."
She put some food on another plate and pushed it towards Jack.
"Eat.. it's good."

Jack smiled and took a bite.
"It is good. I have a sore shoulder suddenly to actually, I was a younger, foolish man then. I exchanged words with somone, didn't know when I should back down. Long story short, a 8" blade ended up in my shoulder."
Jack nodded almost to the memory, then moved his arm slightly to try and shake off the pain.

Aika grimaced and glanced up at Jack.
"Well, everyone makes their own share of mistakes." She smiled lightly. "I'm sure you learned and that is what is important. Learn from your failures."

Jack nodded.
"That they do. I did learn. The hard way, but I learned. How about you? Any lessons that could have been avoided? That is, if you care to discuse it"

Aika smiled.
"Not really. I think all lessons are unavoidable and I take each mistake I make in stride. But I have made very few mistakes so I tend to view myself as rather ignorant to learning."
She sat back and took a sip of tea.
"I'm still alive... that is the biggest lesson I have learned."

"Of course."
Jack to, took a sip of tea.
"I still find it odd to be on a 'mission' like this. where people are targets to be killed"

Aika nodded.
"I don't question. If we can get this done, I guess my life will be a little easier. I won't be dead, that's a plus. Granted, I won't be any better off but at least I'll be alive."
She sighed heavily and leaned back in her seat.
"I need sleep, I don't know about you. Seems like our next mission is going to be crazy as well."
She put the dishes they used away and then headed over to her bunk. Aika sprung quickly up into her bunk and leaned back.
"Get some rest, Jack. You're going to need it."
