I just saw Star Trek 4, but ihave a question

does anyone know what Scotty and McCoy we're talking about in the Sheet factory?
i mean when there in the guy's office Scotty offers information, to make his glass sheet stronger, but what does he say when he talked to McCoy privatly

i am sorry if i am making no sense

I think ur referring to where he need something for the whales and scotty and mccoy talked about that he might of been the one who inveted the thing on the computer my guess.

What scotty whispered to mcoy was "How do we know he didn't invent the bloody thing?"

Because Mcoy mentioned to scotty he was tampering with the timeline

You could tell the TOS crew are different from the TNG/DS9/VOY crews. Those three crew NEVER would have done something like that...

That would have been the when the scene when Scotty gave the man the formula to transparent aluminum (??? Maybe thats not it..., it was something) which we see as the "windows" on starships.
