Yeah it is from my hometown... I am in total shock... Nothing hardly goes down in Laurens. But I hope they put that woman away for a long long time...

This sort of thing just....boggles my mind...how anyone can be so off the dodge when it comes to morals and ethics...it makes me want to vomit.
Not only does this violate the law...it really shows a sense of carelessness and desperation on this woman's part......and it makes teachers in general look really bad.......

I know. It is a mad world. Truth be told, the world is not going to get any better unless we make a change.
I home school my kids thank goodness. A teacher abused my daughter so I took my kids out of public school... Can't trust teachers anymore these days. My daughter wasn't molested by a teacher but she was screamed and yelled at. I went to the school and stood outside the door just see why Anna was being scared to go to school. I heard her teacher alright. I went into the room..

As if she was surprise. I told her don't Mrs. Whitsel me. I told Anna go straight to the office and wait for me. And teacher and me had words outside in the hall.
I went to the Principal too. He blewed it off. So I told I am taking my kids out of public school. I teach them myself.
I wasn't going to try to put Anna in another class cause I wouldn't know how the other teacher would do...
I can't trust teachers... Now I know not all teachers are bad..... Just certain ones.
I definetly won't move back to my home town... I am afraid someone might get a hold to my kids. Or any town matter of fact. This world is crazy.....
I hope that woman who had sex with that 11 year old boy, rotts in prison.... It just makes me so angry....

My thoughts exactly. She's a woman... surely there must have been some person as sick as her she could have slept with instead of that little boy?

it really happens everywhere. in my hometown a girl in my age (and i knew her) was abused, and then killed with 30 knifestabs....horrible story, and it was all over the news, and the best friend of her was in my class....she was so down after that...understandable...
but i don t think it s only teachers who are so bad, the students too, they provocade a lot, for example there are a LOT of girls from my class who have a crush on that sports teacher from our school, because for a teacher he is pretty young
so don t get me wrong, there is no excuse for a teacher to have sex with an 11-year-old, but still, some people just provocade it

I personally think the story is over-exaggerated. All these types of stories are made to sound ten times worse than what happened. At most i'm assuming it was flirting. I hear cases like these where both teacher and student would mutally fool around together after school and when the news leaks out the teacher ends up loosing her (or his) job and the student would get told by parents to over-exaggerate the story and the confused student goes along.
Some cases after the student turns 18 and then starts a proper relationship with the ex teacher after the ordeal but you don't hear those stories because the media hides them.
OTOH 11 is very young and not quite dismissable. I also have a hard time (no pun intended, heh) picturing a woman teacher raping a 11 yo boy

bull bolgny... I got to go get the link but she did admit to it. and no, it wasn't over-exaggerated.. There was more to the story than the link above. I will have my sister email me the news link from my hometown first thing Monday.
