Rules are pretty simple :

~All entries must be your own work

~Please put down clearly what catagories you'd like to enter (So I can possibly extend the deadline for those that need it)

~Do not I beg of you, I really really really really want you all to know not to enter your work late, If its not in this topic by the set date I cannot accept you.

~Naturally the STV ART forums rules must be observed

~I will only add work that you have PMed me and specifically asked to have entered, By all means post your work in this topic but it won't be entered unless you ask for it to be.

I have tried to include catagories that anyone can participate in and that there will be more than one entrant in, I hope I have suceeded if not I apologise and please inform me for next time.

*All rules are subject to change or additions to the rules may and will be added if necessary without notification of entrants.

Requirements

~An image created by yourself

~Image must preferably be hosted by your photobucket or imageshack, I can host some images for people though

Thats it as far as I can see for the moment. lol.

Judges

Judge number 1 : Harrykim234 - Average member who has his own unique tastes

Judge number 2 : Captain. Dan V2 - Well I like alot of work in this forum although I don't post in most of them, Also its my topic.

Judge number 3 : Preferable a site administrator or Moderator - They have their own tastes also they represent the STV sites operators.

Well I'll start making some preparations and get it started again.
Patrick did you really win in all fields last time ?
I thought you only won 2D art....
Meh maybe I am wrong.
I'll start finding judges and I'll get this all done.

Here are what the entry requirements will be.
Requirements for entry to the competition

The picture must be your own
Please host your own pictures in photobucket or imageshack or something because my photobucket is stretched. If you can't host your own just tell me and I'll clear out some of my photobucket.

Is this going to be for any type of ST artwork? ie pencil, ink, paint, digital etc... just wondering because although I'm not too bad with a pencil either, I'm hopeless with computer generated stuff.

Well congradulations, I have to admit I still have a copy of whirlwind somewhere, Its still really good in my opinion.

Yes pencil, Paint or crayon I'll accept as long as you've got a picture lol. Best in show can be anything.

Here is my entry for 3D Art:

She is not a single layer picture, she is two layers of one with a black light on and one with a blue light. I then sliced them together to make the final thing. all in all took about 3 hours to make of sliceing, post processing, lighting, and final production effects.

(PS: Warning, a few days ago something happen on another design site. So i will only say this once, you Rip off my work(IE: editing it and saying you made it.) i will sue till you have nothing left. Thats when you REALLY have to worry about gettin ripped off!!
Its already happened to me twice!

they created an ENTIRE website off of my ship without permission..
To be honest.. That I don't mind. but it reeeeeally frost my cookies when they didn't even put my name in their credits or mention me anywhere on thier websites..
At least everyone here has asked me straight up..
I really appeciated that..

Uh..
I just wanted to point something out for your 3d section..
Its pretty much easier to download a ship and create a nice background to it in photoshop than actually using a ship you created from scratch and making a background for an intense picture..

I'm not saying making Photoshop pictures are easy..
But its not fair to enter a 3d contest and get beat by someone who used someone elses 3d work?
