Slang.
I can't help but wondering if anyone here finds it as interesting as me ?
I find it wierd that I could say 'I've lost my marbles' or 'Pick and Mix' or anything like that and it be understood in England but not in other countries.
Does anyone here know any local slang that they don't know if anyone else understands ?
(I know this is a really bad one but) If I released wind and said ' I think I can feel the turtles head" Or something similar, How many people would understand that ?
Or if I said 'I'm crackered' would anyone here or in America understand ?
Or if I said I'm going to the Toon . How many people here would understand ?
I know some of the stuff I've said is pretty easy to understand and simple but I can't help but wonder.
