I have one and I would like to play Halo games but getting a hard drive in the North East of England is like drawing blood from a turnip. Not easily done.

Not a fan of the 360 and my opinion of it isnt really suitable to be put on a family friendly board so i'll stick to my DS and wait for the PS3 and the Nintendo Revolution to OWN the 360!

I wish I had the money, *jaw drops* ... Didn't they make a seat that vibrates when you're playing?

So agreed, very much so. I myself am just waiting for the release of the PS3 and shall keep my X-Box opinions to myself.

Well there is no doubt that the PS3 will blow the XBOX360 out of the water, But it isn't out yet, When it is I'll either get it straight away or wait until my Birthday (Whichever my mam agrees to).
But the XBOX360 is still a great comment.

Oh, it was clearly implied, I suggest you continue the conversation of XBox, or whatever, and move on, or just not post in this topic again.

In my opinion they are both rubbish and I would not waste my money on either one. The only handheld gaming systems I ever bought were the old Gameboy's (B&W, Color, SP) and SP is the last I had, and still have. Other than that, I'll stick with wasting my money on the big game systems and not waste it on either of the new handheld ones.

Erm... try Computer Orbit, Old Durham Road, Gateshead. I get most of my computer stuff there.

www.computerorbit.co.uk

Knowing me, I'll probably get a PS3 about a year before the PS4 comes out.

The PS2 (bought late last year ) is wonderful for me now- Sammie likes the dance mat

I'm not getting an X Box on the principle of not buying anything from Microsoft- I've even found Linux for the PS2

Ah, so you deny yourself the wonders and horrors of Windows XP, MSN, Office, Flight Simulator and ActiveX(among other things)?

the Xbox is theo nly thing i got from Microsoft that has worked for 3 years without crashing once. Well, except when playing Morronwind, but thats the fault of the game.

I only hope my Xbox 360 will not crash on me.

Apart from at college, yes (I have no choice there).
I have Ubuntu on my home PC, use Open Office, GAIM and aMSN (need something for support for my customers), never have used Active X, and never was any good at Flight Simulators

I bought a XBox 360 about a month ago (with the hard-drive).
I guess it is okay. I don't have a regular Xbox, and having the 360 lets me play some of the old ones (but I have to order a "special disk" from Microsoft. What is up with that?!?). Plus, my PC is...not the best, so I can't play all of the good PC games. With the 360, many of those PC games are going to be ported to the 360 (F.E.A.R./LOTR Battle for Middle Earth II). Awesome!

But, besides that, the games out now aren't the best out there. I own Perfect Dark Zero (everything is shiny...too shiny!), and I guess that is okay. The single-player is a little short, but the multi-player Kill-Count is prettty fun. I have played Call of Duty 2 and that is pretty neat, much better than the last console Call of Duty. Dead or Alive 4 is pretty fun, too, although there appeared to be some A.I. problems (opponents could counter whenever they needed it most, the character ALPHA 152, or something like that, is extremely hard and can pull of moves that can defeat you in one hit!). Those are the only games I've played.

I am looking forward to many games, including the ported Final Fantasy XI and Blue Dragon.

On the subject of the DS and PSP? The DS is the superior system. Yes, the graphics aren't as good as the PSP, but the games are better, by far. The PSP games are primarily ports of bad sports games. The DS has many quirky, interesting, and fun games. Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow, Resident Evil DS, Nintendogs, Feel the Magic/Rub Rabbits, Advance Wars Dual Strike, Animal Crossing WW...all great games. It would be great if the DS could watch movies, though (its coming soon in Japan). The PSP? Name four good games for it....good games.

Well, those are my thoughts...

See ya!

The Aplha 152 is the end "Boss" and can do things you can only dream of doing. But its just like the old DOA games, its unfair but you can beat it. I already did it with Kasumi, Jann Lee and Brad Wong.

Im really surprised that everybody wants to buy all those games for the 360, they are very expensive. it cost me 65 euro's for DOA4, i'm only going too buy TESIV: Oblivion when it comes out for 70 euro's and thats it, i'm done with spending money then. Xbox live costs a lot too.

How much money do you all want to spend on games i wonder?

Elder Scrolls IV!!!

I forgot about that one! I definately want to get that one! Y'know, Patrick Stewart does a voice-over in the game...as a King or something.

Well, I've beaten Alpha 152...with everyone!!! Yeah, I've beaten Story Mode with all the characters...Trust me, it is hardest with Ayane!

About prices? I buy 'em used...saves me a bundle, eh?

I wouldn't mind an XBOX 360, currently right now I only have the original xbox with Morrowind. Elder Scrolls IV would be the only reason I would get 360 over the PS3... well that and Halo 3.
