I'm thinking of, as my first venture into attempting to handle an RPG, starting a World of Warcraft based RPG with at least eight playable races and eight classes. This would be a, theoretically, large undertaking and would take a month or so to plan before I could fully release the information and give enough background to give the members a good enough basis to fully understand their characters.
The basic story is this:
The Horde, a large contingent of beings based mostly in Kalmidor (the western continent of Azeroth), have four basic races on their side: Orcs, Tauren, Undead(Mortsvivants), and Trolls. Their main city, Ogrimmar, is located in Kalmidor in the territory of Durotar. Other main cities include the Tauren city of Thunderbluff and the Undead city of Undercity.
The Alliance, a large contingent of beings based mostly in the Eastern Kingdom, have four basic races as well: Humans, Night Elves, Gnomes, and Dwarves. Their main city, Ironforge, is located in the Eastern Kingdom in the territory of Dun Morogh. Other main cities include the Night Elf capital of Darnassus and the Human capital of Stormwind.
The Horde and Alliance are, generally speaking, on opposing sides and, for the most part, cannot undertsand one another when speaking. However, for the sake of this RPG, I will allow certain races to be able to learn the language of Common, in order to further communication. Likewise, the Horde and Alliance, though on tense grounds, will not be in full-out, kill-on-site terms with each other. Although Horde players will be unable to enter Alliance cities and Alliance players will be unable to enter Horde cities, there are Contested Territories where both factions may find refuge and any violence towards the other faction will result in you being terminated by the guards in the Contested cities.
You as the character will be able to choose your faction, race, and class, along with personal characteristics and specialities of your character! As a member of this RPG, you will be able to decide if the Horde and Alliance stay on neutral ground or if the Horde and Alliance will go to war.
The members of this RPG will be presented with specific problems that they, as a faction or as a race, must solve through enlisting the help of other races and people. The ultimate ending, however, will be determined by the members of each Faction and race.
The fight for Azeroth begins with races starting at their home cities, all maxed out level wize and equipped with equally specced gear and weapons. It is the decision of the members as to where they go, who they kill and where the balance of Azeroth goes.

I played all the games. I love Warcraft. Great story, albeit a complicated one.

Ya... I might be able to arrange this but it's going to take a very long time and it's going to be very complicated. But I might be able to do it with enough time and assistance

Yeah, as said before, I have attempted this, but if the RPG mods would unarchive the old one, you could look at the first post and see if you like it. But yeah, I'd join it if you made one.

I've taken a look, thanks tomparis. I should start compiling information later this week when I get back to my college campus and should have more information up shortly.
