Yeah ... and with the new movie coming out and all ... all that should give them reason to find as many ways to promote it as possible ... and thus releasing the DVD's ...

Oh. Where does it say that?

"Last Crusade," psh.

Consider what the movie was about--the Crusades! The Last Crusade, whether or not it's the final movie, is the perfect title for it.

But anyways, as I've said before, because of his age it's been announced that the movie's taking place in the 1950s, so Indy will be older to compensate for Harrisson's age difference. And the enemy won't be the Nazis this time.

The Nazi's are always the enemies!!! ... LOL ... Yeah, I just can't wait to see how it turns out ... insteading of trying to make assumptions and criticisms way before the movie hits theaters, ahem ... ;P

Just try and enter the movie world on it's own terms. I try not to analyze anything, and just enjoy. Harrison Ford as Indy, with Spielberg and Lucas producing, is enough for me.

By the way, I wonder if they'll do an Ultimate Indy boxset when the fourth movie comes out, much like the Ultimate Back To The Future boxset.

The 50s? He'll still be too old looking. If the previous ones took place in the 40s, then it should only be like 10 years later. He definitely looks more than 10 years older in comparison to when the last films were made.

The Last Crusade was about the Holy Grail, not the crusades....

I understand that. But do you not recall the Holy Grail stuff being related to the Crusades in the movie It was a few months ago last I watched it, but I have the DVD box set pretty much right to my left.

Holy Grail? Crusades? That's pretty tacky if they did compare/relate them. I suppose fiction is fiction....

Don't you remember? The Knight that was guarding the Grail was a Knight from the Crusades. That's exactly why they chose The Last Crusade and not something like, say, "Adventure."
But anyways, this topic, of course, is about the 4th movie, not the others, so...
Even with the age difference, I'm sure he'll still do well in the role and it'll be a good movie.

Well, I suppose if you want to ignore the "last" part, then the whole Crusade thing would make plenty of sense.

It seems now as if he's just using the title to make a comeback. His last few movies have been flops, not to mention that the last one came out 17 years ago...

Nah. I think all three of them wanted to make it. Maybe that was/is a slight aspect in it, but I don't really think so. I think they all just wanna make another Indiana Jones movie.

Actually, this isn't that recent an idea. They started taking looks at it back in '03, I believe, but came up with the idea for another movie in 2000 or something like that, but because of SWII and SWIII, and, more recently, Spielberg and Ford movies, it was put on the backburner. Now, as Harrison Ford said, it's "on the frontburner."

There's only one person who can play Indy and it's Ford, no matter what age he is.

I'm looking forward to this film. I hope it's going to be full of adventure, fun, action and special effects!

I'm sure I read something about a proposed Indy IV in the mid-90s. I'm not sure if there were plans back then, but if there were, I guess The Phantom Menace got in the way.

[quote="Superman"]I like Ford too. His best role of the last decade, in my opinion, was his role as the US President in Air Force One.

I loved that movie! I like Harrison Ford and I like Indiana Jones but and I'm kind of looking forward to the movie, it's just he's old now so I'll have to see how the movie does.

I think Harrison Ford has gotten to be a bit of a ham lately. Some of his earlier movies were ok, but the more recent ones like K-19, really show him sort of stealing the spotlight from others who would have done a better job.

Just my opinion.

Hey, look at Firewall. That is a FANTASTIC movie and he acted VERY well in it--best acting of him I've ever seen.
