Now that I have your attention, I need some help,

There was this book that I had read in High School, about a guy who's very... dumb. He had a very low IQ. Then he started recieving treatments, his IQ more than doubled, or something. And he started thinking of ways to save the company he worked for money, but he also was losing his friends, so in the end, he decided to stop the treatments, and became... dumb again.
I think there is a flower in the title? I am totally going nuts because I can't remember this,

that's what i'm here for! Great book btw! I too read it when I was in highschool. It is one i would like to read again when i get a moment of free time.
