Where were you born/are you from?

Alright. I have a question. What city, province, and country were you born in?
And another question. If your family migrated to your country within the last 100 years, please share the country they migrated from. And please share the year (or year range) as well.

Either my great- or great-great grandfather migrated to America from Germany in the very early 1900s, or so I think (I'm not sure).
However, I was born in Albany, Albany, New York.

I'm born in a town called Alphen a/d Rijn, wich is about 10km from my hometown; Boskoop. That's in the west of the Netherlands. My family is just from Holland. I believe my great-great-greatgrandmother or something was from Portugal, but I'm not sure. My family didn't migrate in the last 100 years.

I was born in Shotley Bridge Hospital I live in chopwell then my mam left the chip pan on and nearly left me there when she had to collect my pest of a sick sister from school,

and cas I was zonked out she was tempted to leave me cas I was such a lovely child (NOT)

so the local athority (housing company) moved us down into a small village called High Spen.

its so not well known that you go to the nearest town and ask how many have heard of here about half of them would and the other half wouldnt know how to find London if it was painted on there face.

So I am styill in High Spen with Seven of Nine (the mod one) and Samantha with my parents just 12 blummin doors up the road.

I was born in Bailey Clinton Hospital in South Carolina. I lived in Gray Court SC til I was one years old then my parents moved to Laurens South Carolina.

Parts of my mom's family is in North Carolina and Ireland. My dad is part Native American. His mom was white but dad was Cherokee Indian.

I, myself was born in Newberry, South Carolina. I moved to Clintion SC when I was a teenager to live with my dad and stepmom. My last name is part German/Irish. So that makes Deb's last name too lol.

Parts of my family are spread out to Georgia, North Carolina, Germany , and Ireland. My cousin lives in Ireland.

My family has been living in the netherlands for longer then 100 years. I was born and raised in IJmuiden.

But long ago my ancestros came from somewhere close to denmark or Norway. I'm a viking Or maybe Saxon.

I was born in Liverpool Maternity Hospital, Oxford Street, Liverpool (England).

Moved around Liverpool a lot, then when I was 16 moved up north to Wallsend, North Tyneside, England (where the end of Hadrien's Wall is). Moved to High Spen 1st December 2002. Moved in this house July 2003.

My grandad (dad's side) came over from Germany during the second world war- he was shot down over Russia and was a prisoner of war here. He decided to stay.

Sammie was born in the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Gateshead. She's only lived in this house

On my mum's side someone came over from Ireland, and down from Scotland, but I'm unsure of the links.

My family has been in the States since about the 1600's. Multiple times great grandfather came over shortly after the Mayflower. They've always stayed in the East as far as I know.
Personally, I was born in Bangor, Maine. And I now live just outside of Bangor. Had a breif lapse of sanity and moved to Ohio, that didn't last long.
Heritage would be Native American (Passamaquoddy), Irish, Scottish, French and Anglo.

My mother's side came to the US during the 1600s, and my father's side arrived during the early 1900s (before 1920). I was born in Albany, New York. Still here, unfortunately.


My father's side is all Italian. My mother's is American Indian, German, Irish, and French.

Don't remember when or where my moms family came from, but my dad's family moved to Ohio in the 1800's from Germany.

I was born in Duluth, Minnesota whilst my parents were on vacation up at our cabin. Have been living in the twin cities every since then.


On my dad's side, my great, great, great grandfather came over on a boat from Aachen, Germany/(Frace) -- at that time the boader was switching back and forth between France and Germany -- currently today Aachen is in Germany.

On my mom's side, my great, great grandparents came over from Ireland (100% Irish they were)!

Anyway, so I am Irish, French, German, and English (UK- English that is)

My surname, Raynor, belonged to a noble family living on the East coast in the 1300s, so I guess I have noble blood in me.

However, it is unlikely that I am 100% Briton. I do have very fair skin, but I have amber/brown/green eyes and ginger/brown/black hair, so there could be some Norman/Viking/Roman blood in there. We got invaded a lot back then.

Grand Parents on my dads side well his dad was born in Scottland..Aberdeen to be exact and his mother was born in Berlin Germany.
