Sun Jan 29, 2006 11:30 pm Any Ideas? |
|
Hello all. For school this year, I have to do art as a elective. And so for my art book I need a title page. So I was wondering if any of you guys had any ideas on what I could do for it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'd do something in calligraphy with a nice border. The style from there depends on the content of the book. I'd either do a very modern, geometric, 1920s-ish design with block-y lettering, or I'd do a very floaty, traditional garden-esque type thing.

I would do a Gothic Era based border and writing make the title page dark and add a hint of mysteries to the title page. But that is just me, i like thing dark and gothic based.

Sounds cool, You could go for a natural look, I personally wouldn't use it but you could to like leaves around the outside for a border and draw a picture of a tree or a forest or something then draw like a bull dozer destroying it, I personally would have done the gothic thing but I suck at art and as such dropped it in year 9.

Hiya Nadia,
I love this hobby and have already done a few albums, so hows about a Scrapbooking theme with a collection of photos or cut-outs, and then embelish it with fibres and matted metal lettering for your name or title etc? Could be any genre or colour or size you choose.
I'm not sure where you're from, but when we were touring the States, there were loads of shops that sold Scrapbooking items. It's getting more popular in England, and I have a few addys if this is where you're based.
Best of luck with it. Hope this helps. Shout if you need anything else.

Hi Nadia,
Just wondering if you've decided on what you're going to do, and if you've got your title page started yet?

Hope you all had a lovely time working together.
