Stardate 57178.14 (March 6, 2380) is a day that will live in infamy in the hearts and minds of every member, and non member, of the United Federation of Planets.

A mixed group of politicians, military officers, and civilians from hundreds of worlds across the Alpha and Beta quadrants have banded together to form an anti-United Federation of Planets organization. They call themselves the Jia'Mal Liberation Movement. The Jia'Mal LM walked in during an event in the ceremony stadium on stardate 57178.14. They took the crowd hostage using a high yield Tricobalt device.

The LM were angry about the UFP constantly being attacked by agressors and their populations having to suffer for it. During the Dominion War, Betazed and several other worlds fell under Dominion rule because a Federation war. During the Federation-Klingon war, several Bajoran and Cardassian colonies were attacked and many killed. During the Shinzon, Sona, and Borg attacks many Starfleet officers died. The high death toll was too much, but the governments of each UFP world did not care. The hostage situation last for nearly the entire day and everyone watched on the Federation News Service with bated breath.

Each UFP government decided to stay with the UFP and would not meet their demands. The Federation would not be demanded. The LM members decided to send a message to the UFP through a tricobalt device they snuck into the building....

Thousands of people were killed and the newly rebuilt San Franciso had been destroyed once again. The hostages and hostage takers had been killed in the detonation. The UFP was left in a state of shock. The Federation council convened and tried to decide what to do.

Romulus and Qo'noS were in no state to handle another war so soon. The Federation would not be able to handle a split if the governments agreed to the demands of this faction. This faction was much more underground and had little support. An all out strike against them could lead to more support. The council decided that a group of assasins would deal with it, but they did not want any ties to these assasins. Again, more support could go to the Jia'Mal LM. So they've picked various individuals to do this. People with pasts that no one would want and a future that only they would take...

Name: James Parker[Played by: Founder]
Position: Team Leader
Age: 48
Species: Human
Former Rank: Commander
Crime: Defected to the Dominion during the war. Was sent to Earth by them to steal secrets in an effort to "end the war faster". He was caught during the act.
Punishment: 30 years in a Federation prison. Known as the "Federation traitor" to all in the UFP.
Offer: If he decides to this mission, he will be freed from prison. His "title" will be washed away with medals and letters from Admirals. He will be able to reunite with his wife and daughter.

Name: Toren Rendar[Played by: Republican_Man]
Position: Intelligence and Operations
Age: 36
Species: Human
Former Rank: Lieutenent
Crime: Participated in illegal activities prior to and during the beginning of the Dominion War, selling Federation items and secrets, using his engineering position and abilities to hack into the security systems, to underworld people and organizations, such as the Orion Syndicate.
Punishment: None. One day, after sending a transmission to a client, Rendar was alerted to the fact that Captain Picard of the USS Enterprise was alerted to a communication that did not follow proper protocols. He knew the call would be traced to him in only a matter of time, and so he stole a shuttle and left for the Outrider Smuggling Syndicate, a rag-tag group of 6 smugglers (making it 7) in their smuggling operations for the Orion Syndicate and other underworld organizations (after a brief firefight between the shuttle [with its shields up] and ship).
Offer: If he decides to leave his smuggling position and sign on to this mission (for his underworld contacts), he will receive a highly valuable Starfleet torpedo--a phased torpedo--with sufficient market value to buy him a small moon, as well as will be relieved of his crimes.

Name: Aleiya Terrel[Played by: Exalya]
Position: Medic
Age: 26
Species: Human
Former Rank: Lieutenant J.G.

Punishment: 25 years in prison, prohibition from ever obtaining a medical lisence again.
Offer: If she would join the mission, Aleiya would be allowed to return to the medical field as a researcher, and possibly regain her status as an M.D.

Name: Tony "The Hot Head" Fredricks[Played by: Micteth-Son of Udas]
Position: Demolistionist
Age: 40
Species: Human
Former Rank: Enisgn
Crime: Defected to the maquis after only a few months from getting out of the academy. Was sentenced to life in prison. While locked up he escaped using his favorite toys, explosives.
Punishment: Charged with treason and sentenced to life in prision
Offer: If mission is accepted and doesnt die with his little toys, the charges will be droped, he will be set free, and he gets a shipment of federation explosives.

Name: Jack Mercer[Played by: Lord Borg]
Rank: Weapons Specialist
Age: 32
Species: Human
Former Rank: Lieutenant Commander
Crime: In a battle during the Dominion war, Jack was tactical officer on a ship protecting a diplomatic envoy of a possible member to the Federation. Due to the damage to the ship, Jack had to manually aim weapons. He fired several torpedoes at a Dominion warship, and missed. The result was one of the diplomatic ships were destroyed. Starfleet knew it was an accident, but the government that lost the ship did not want to hear it. They threatened to cut off relations with the federation. In desperate need of anyone they can get to help, it was made to look like he did it purposely. The federation was not completely heartless in this matter; they made the alien government agree to one thing: Jacks punishment is to be carried out in federation territory.
Punishment: Life in prison with out the possibility of parole, due to the numbers of the people that died.
Offer: If Jack accepts the mission, he will be released, and the record cleared with the truth revealed that the diplomatic ships destruction was an accident.

Name: Jos "Theo" Thodore[Played by: Valathous]
Rank: Scout/Sniper
Age: 28
Species: Human
Former Rank: Lieutenant
Crime: During an important Federation meeting Jos managed to sneak in armed. What the meeting was about, the media was never told. He had snuck into an upper level VIP area that overhung the main conference room. His intent was for good positioning to remove his target. The VIP room he had entered was supposed to be empty but the he soon found out why. It was occupied by 2 Federation marksmen who also were there for the aerial view but for the intent of protecting the meeting rather than assassinating someone. Once he entered they turned to face him. He shot them both, setting off an alarm for detecting weapons. Rather than running away at the first sound of the Klaxon, Jos withdrew pieces to a rifle he had in a bag with him and quickly snapped the 3 pieces in place and slammed a cartridge in (He used an old projectile weapon for his assassinations). He took aim and found his mark amongst the fray of people being ushered out the door. He fired and his aim was true; the man dropped dead. Jos turned around to head out only to be stunned by several security officers. During the court hearing it was found the he was the cause of several other deaths amongst the Federation for high ranking officials to civilians. This was discovered because he always killed his victims the same way; 1 shot to the head and 2 to the torso.
Punishment: Life sentence working at a dilithium mine with no chance of parole.
Offer: A new identity and a chance to enter Starfleet once more under a zero tolerance level and high watch until it was deemed he was safe once more.

Name: Aika Kurisawa
Position: Assasin
Age: 35
Species: Human
Former Rank: Lieutenant Commander
Crime: Defected to the Maquis, she was sent in as an assassin for two high up UFP leaders. After being discovered, her mission turned into more like a kamikaze fiasco, although Starfleet managed to get hold of her before she took her life along with the lives of about 50 other persons in the room.
Punishment: Currently listed to be terminated.
Offer: If she decides to participate in the mission and the mission is successful, she will serve only five more years in prison before she is released, without Starfleet rank. Depending on her performance during the mission, she may or may not get monetary rewards.

Name: Sotol[Played by: NPC]
Rank: Linguist(Translator)
Age: 133
Species: Vulcan
Former Rank: Ambassador
Crime: During the Dominion War, the Federation sought as many allies as possible, including the Romulans. Sotol was sent to represent the Federation in peace talks for the war. He was a skilled diplomat and was famous for being able to speak over 100 alien languages, a skill most no longer cared for since the creation of the Universal Translator. Unknown to the Federation and most people, Sotol had a deep hatred for the Romulans that was buried beneath the surface. They had killed all of his children during an attack on a Vulcan ship, which had entered Romulan space. Sotol had buried the feelings deeply through meditation but it surfaced when he had redevoused with a Romulan ship. Sotol tried to attack the Romulan ambassador and nearly succeeded in killing him. The Federation diplomats and officers there stopped him before he could finish. The result? The Romulans became even more alienated during the war.
Punishment: He was stripped of his rank and sent back to Vulcan. There he served on a monstery, never being allowed to leave it again.
Offer: If he accepts the mission, he will be allowed to leave Vulcan and could possibly regain his old rank as ambassador, something he misses dearly.

Name: Saria Emeel[Played by: NPC]
Rank: Field Technician
Age: 29
Species: Trill(Unjoined)
Former Rank: Lieutenant
Crime: Wanted to become Chief Engineer of an Intrepid class vessel. She was deeply interested in science and hoped to have that position, almost obsessive. Saria was known to have emotional outbursts and had to be reprimanded many times. She missed the mark barely and someone else was chosen over her to be Chief Engineer. Bitter, she rigged the warp core to have a minor malfunction. One that she would be able to easily stop and "save the day" through. Once the malfunction hit, she and the Chief Engineer was unable to stop it. An immediate warp core ejection was needed. The warp core exploded harmlessly in space as the ship fled. The Intrepid ship was hit by the shockwave, but managed to survive with minor injury. Saria came forward immediatly, overwhelmed with guilt, and admitted what she had done.
Punishment: She was immediatly cashered out of Starfleet. Saria went to Trill and worked as generator maintance officer for a small city. She would never be an engineer again, as no one wanted her.
Offer: She would be allowed to return to Starfleet and given the immediate position of Chief Engineer on any Intrepid ship of her choice.

The Odium is the special shuttle class vessel the team is given. The name means "to be hated" in Latin. It is a heavily upgraded version of the Delta Flyer class shuttle. Due to the Klingons being unable to help, they offered an archaic cloaking device. It is also fitted with a holo device. The ship is armed to the teeth and made for speed. It is definitly not a ship built to...explore new worlds and seek out new life.

-Federation Prison, Lunar Colony-

"I can still remember when I made the choice. I was onboard the USS Braves mess hall, eating a blueberry muffin for breakfast. I sat alone in the corner, not wanting company. As I looked around I saw that every crewman had a sad and quiet look on their face. The normal loud room filled with laughter and excited chatter was as silent as a tomb. The Dominion War had been going poorly for the Federation. The casulty lists were staggering and painful to read. People that I studied with at the academy kept appearing. It got to a point where I didn't even see faces with the names. Just a blur of names attached to dead people. Then when I went to the mess hall to read more names, I saw every name turn into the names of my wife and daughter. Killed in action. I remember every tiny moment. From the tiny details of a nebula in the distance seen through the viewport to me taking a sip of my mango juice. It was at that moment that the sweet taste from the fruit juice became very bitter. Gasps of horror and moans of distress were all I heard. I looked back to see the crew crowded around an LCARS system. It was then that I stood up and pushed my way through the crowd. I didn't know what to expect, but I could tell it was deeper than the standard depression of a casulty list. Something new and bad was happening. The Federation News Service was reporting something about Earth and the Breen. A horrifying image was seen on the screen. It was San Francisco, completely destroyed. It had an eerie parallel to the Xindi attack. The city was laid to waste be the Breen, apparently, the newest members of the Dominion. If morale had been barely existent before, it was non-existent now. First Betazed had fallen to Dominion rule and now this. The crew looked over at me, hoping in desperation that I would have words to uplifts their spirits. That I would have this bravado speech, but I didn't. It wasn't much with words, but that all I could think about it was my family who was on Earth. I shoved my way through the crowd and ran out of the mess hall. Funny enough, I don't remember the exact moment when I made the decision itself. It could have been when I contact my wife, who was hystirecal and wanted her husband home as she clutched my newly born daughter or maybe when I heard my ship was diverted to help hold the lines at a Federation/Dominion border. It meant certain death because not only did the Dominion have more bolstered forces with the Breen, but my ship was not a combat vessel. It was a small Nova class, with limited armament. The Federation became so desperate it sent us to help hold the lines. I know would more than likely never see my family again. Thats all I could think of at that moment. I made a decision I thought every person in the Federation would be grateful to me for. I thought I would make a difference and change history. That I would go down the annals of history alongside Hikaru Sulu, a personal inspiration of mine. I was a fool. Because what I did next would change everything for me..."

James lied on the bed against the wall in his cell. He was sleeping after a long day of rehibilation work. The man had the boring task of keeping the Jeffries Tubes clean on the Lunar Colony. Alongside other prisoners, he kepy busy with menial tasks to be "productive to society". He turned to his side and tried to sleep, but he couldn't. His thoughts once again dwelled on his daughter. She was now five years old. Much to his pain, he did not see her grow up. James had been in prison for five years and had about 25 more years to go. She would be an adult when he finally got out and he hated that he would never be there for a lot of the important events of her life. James turned over, unable to sleep and looked out of the holding cell. He jumped slightly when he a balding rear admiral staring at him. The man had been quiet when entering the room. His silent stare made James feel uneasy. It was almost as if the old man was analyzing him.

"My next hearing is five years," James joked, "You're slightly early..."

The older man did not laugh and folded his arms. He cleared his throat and stepped forward.

"Surprised to get a visitor?" He said, finally speaking, "If I am correct the last time anyone came to see you was what? Two years ago?"

James leaned his head against the wall and did not answer the question. Had it been that long? Two years? Sounded right...

"Do you ever wonder why your wife and daughter stopped coming?" He asked.

Parker tensed at the mention of his wife. She spoke to her reguarly on the comline, but she had not visited in some time.

"I'll answer that for you," The rear admiral continued, "Its because it is hard for her to leave her home. Well....not without being ridiculed and stared at. Because her husband nearly cost the Federation, no, the Alpha Quadrant the Dominion War. If we had, had your way then right now we would be speaking Dominionese wouldn't we?"

It was such a cruel and uncaring statement. Not to mention his voice exuded contempt. James was not knew to it. Many hated him for what he had done. Even some of the other prisoners.

"Is there something I can do for you sir?" James said quickly, wanting to get to the point as soon as possible.

The read admiral, still unnamed, nodded his head and looked behind him. A security officer sat at a console overlooking all of the cells in the room. He motioned for the security officer to lower the forcefield. The invisible field shimmered for a moment and went down. At the same time, the security officer stood up and pulled out his phaser, ready for James to try to flee. The rear admiral stepped inside and walked over to James. The confused prisoner looked up, never standing up. The read admiral bent over and moved close to the side of James' face.

"You want to go back home?" He whispered insidiously, "You want to take that disgusting stain off your family's name? Do you want to see Victoria again?"

James pulled back, only to his head against the wall. Victoria was his daughter's name. Go home? Clear his name? What was this man talking about?

"I'll give you one last chance to change your past," He said, "All you have to do is give up your future..."

A devious smile crossed the man's face.

"If you decide to take on this mission," He continued, "Tell the security officer that you...always wanted to go to Deep Space Nine."

The read admiral stood tall and looked down at James, casting a scowl towards him.

"I look forward to seeing you." He said pleasantly, but with a sarcastice tone.

The old man walked away and motioned for the force field to be raised again, leaving James with a confused look on his face...

Tony sat in his cell, working on a small device, every couple of seconds he would pop his head up, he was working on a new explosive, was going to have fun, escape. He stoped to luagh for a second.

He looked up at the sound of someone coming into the solitary confinment area. The lights outside his forced turned on, him and three other detanies looked out of there respective cells.

Tony quickly stashed his bomb and watched. The man that had entered and a guard approached his cell and deactovated the force feild. The unknown man stepped foward. Tony looked at his uniform, his pips told him it was a rear admiral.

"Let me guess, they found another one of my bombs somewhere important?" Tony said with a luagh.

The rear admiral smiled a little bit. "let me make this short and sweat, you want to get out of here hot head? want your charges droped and a nice little care package of a shipment of explosives that got lost in paperwork? "

Tony got serious. "Whats the catch?"
The admiral shook his head. "you have to agree before you find out anymore then that" Tony luaghed at the remark. the admiral turned and left at the laugh.

"you have two days to decide, stay here for the rest of your life, or freedom." the admiral said and then left, the guard in tow.
The lights in the room went out, leaving only one small light above tonys bed.

Tony grinned to himself and pulled out his bomb and said "free at last." not knowing that the admiral had just made a similar offer to another person, not twenty minutes ago to the federation traitor, some one Hot Head heard alot about.

~Federation Prison, Titan

Jack Mercher sighed. He was staring at a PADD. It was a book on a PADD. Real books were extreadenory rare now. Sure, they were still around, especialy the replicated ones. But Jack had been given a PADD for book reading. This one was set up so any attempt to do anything but read a book, alarms would go off. Jack felt like he was being watched. His eyes glanced up, and sure enough, he was. There was a guard staring at him. Jack looked back. He wasnt to popular with the guards. That's probably because the first six months he was here he tried to escape. He was challanging of thier authority the next six months. Every sense then, no matter what he has done sense then, Guards were on thier watch around him. Jack finaly broke the silence.

"Something I can help you with?"

The guard scowled at Jack as the field was lowerd.

"Stand up"

Jack sighed and put the PADD down, but did not stand up. The Guard spoke again.

"Stand up....now"

Jack stood. He was not at attention when he did, he still defied the guards athourity at times. The guard stood aside.

"Let's go, you have a visitor."

Jack move foward and stoped. Like always, the ran a scaner over him to make sure he wasnt hiding something. When that was done, Jack turned and walked where he was directed to. Jack walked untill the guard reached out and stoped him. The guard pointed into a room. When Jack entered, he saw that there was an admiral sitting at a table.

Here's something you dont see every day.

Jack liked that there was no one around to read his mind, the last thing he had to him self was that. The Admiral stood and cleared his throat.

"Jack Mercer, we meet at last."

Jack had never seen this man before, probably didnt really care, but wondered why after all this time, someone, especialy and Admiral was visiting him. Jack looked the man over.

"Well, you obviusly know who I am."

The Admiral made know effort to give Jack his name. The Admiral did say something eles that cuaght Jack's Attention.

"How would you like to be free?"

Jack looked at the Admiral, his eyes narrowed. The Admiral continued.

"We need someone of your...expertease."

Jack steped closer to the Admiral, the guard wasnt in the room as the admiral had him leave before they spoke.

"Why should I do anything for the Federation?"

The Admiral Replied.

"Do you not understand the part of being free?"

Jack shoot back.

"Do you not understand I have no reason to trust anyone?

The Admiral sighed. He got to the point.

"We need someone of your.. expertease. If you accept, you're record will be cleared, and you will be freed."

Jack nodded.

"Uh huh... freed from what? I mean, I did nothing wrong to get here."

The Admiral replied.

"From here, that is, unless you like it here."

Jack sighed.

"What do I have to do?"

The Admiral spoke.

"Not here, if you accept, tell the guard you've always wanted to go to deep space nine."

The Admiral made a move for the door Jack spoke up.

"You know, I recived word my mother's dying, they dont expect her to last more then the month if that long."

The admiral stared like he didnt care. Jack continued.

"I can tell you right now, that if I get to see her before, you got me."

The Admrial scoffed.

"You don't get anything tell the job's done."

Jack spoke up.

"You dont get me untill I get what i just told you I want."

The Admiral spoke up in a low hushed, but raged voice.

"You listen to me you little Prison Rat, if you think you can push me around, your wrong, I can find someone eles."

Jack replied.

"No, you listen to me I did nothing to get here, this was done in the name of politics, it's the least anyone can do. I also know for one of two possible reason there is no one eles. One: If there was, you wouldn't have visited a 'Prison Rat'. Two: If there is someone eles, it's not possible to get to them."

The Admiral gritted his teeth.

"Fine... you get to see her"

He turned and went for the door. Jack spoke again.

"Thats more then hours admiral, a few days would do the trick."

The admiral looked back, Jack could tell he was angrey. He stormed off and Jack was led back to his cell. When he entered he turned to the guard as the field was turned on.

"You know, I've always wanted to vist Deep Space Nine."

-Federation Prison, Lunar Colony-

James contemplated the offer that rear admiral made to him twenty minutes ago. He didn't think it was a trick or anything, but what could he possibly offer Starfleet? James was a decent command officer, but there were many more better than him. He was a decen helmsman, but again, there were many more better than him. It didn't really make sense. What had the rear admiral said? Change the past but give up the future? What did that mean? There would be only one way to have all these questions answered. He would have to take on this...mission. If he had a chance to help his wife and daughter, he would take it. James slowly rose from the bed, his grey prison uniform stretching out. He took a few tantive steps towards the edge of the force field.

"Um...guard?" He asked timidly.

The young guard, a Bolian, looked up at him in annoyance.

"What is it traitor?" He asked.

James was still surprised at the officer's attitude. He wasn't surprised that he was treated that way perse, but it took a lot of getting used to. At one point in time, he was a respected first officer. Whom ensigns like this would cower in embarrassment and not talk to him so disprespectively.

"I um...always wanted to visit Deep Space Nine." He said trying to remember.

Another prisoner in the cell chuckled when he heard what he had said. It seemed like a prisoner trying to exchange pleasentries with a guard. The Bolian looked around in a paranoid fashion. He tapped something on his console and the force field went down. His blue hand gripped the hilt of the phaser.

"Today is your luck day." He muttered.

He walked over and grabbed James by the arm. With a hard shove, James was pushed out of his cell. He was slowly led down the long line of cells. James couldn't believe it. He was...well...maybe free. His head darted towards one of the cells, about four down from his. A man was sitting inside of it. A man he recognized. He cleaned a jeffries tube with him once. The man kept going on and on about how he could make a bomb out of pretty much anything. James couldn't remember his name...

The two other men in Tony's cell looked at the trator." Hey you, Traitor, where you going pretty boy?" one called out. Tony perked his head up from his bomb, watching the traitor walk by. Tony took his bomb and walked up to the force feild of his cell, about 20 feet from his bed.
"Hey Jimmy" he called out to the guard next to his cell.
"got that bomb ready for me?" The guard replied.
"Yea all done, just make sure it gets to the customer this time." Hot head said.
The guard got up and luaghed.
"o yea Jimmy, that admiral that came here a few minutes ago, did he say anything about me?"

"Yea that if you were to accept something, to bring you to him." the guard said in a almost forgetfull tone

"Well then i accept." Tony said with a smirk. The force feild dropped, tony handed the small bobm to the guard, which was quickly slipped into his pocket.

Tony was led down the hall behind the traitor.

The two other inmates looked at each other in a puzzeled stare. they were use to Fredricks give the guard a bomb everyonce and awhile but being led out of the cell, right after, thats new.

The Bolian officer heard a noise behind him. Another cellmate appeared, being led by a security officer.

"This one is going too." He said simply.

The Bolian nodded and grabbed Tony by the shoulder. He forced him alongside a confused James.

"He was going too?" James thought to himself, "Why?"

His head leaned towards the shorter man. James was somewhat friends with him, but didn't know him that well. He was a little eccentric for James' taste. The Bolian continued to lead them to a space dock.

"Um...hello," James said awkwardly, "Are you going where I'm going?"

"If you mean to a world of freedom, then yes" Tony said with a smirk at James. He was ready to knock out the bolain guard for manhandeling, but he didnt have one of his throught busters. a small bomb that would rupture the victims throught, letting him drown in his own blood.

--Seakal Moon, Orion Syndicate--
It was a dark, starry night on Seakal Moon, an M-class moon controlled by the Orion Syndicate. Toren Rendar, the youngest member of the Outrider Smuggling Syndicate, albeit by two years, exited the relatively small starship Outrider, the primary craft of the smuggling organization of which he was a member and consisted of seven members--including Rendar.

As he walked down the exit ramp he glimpsed a bustling spaceport full of planet citizens all over, and of a variety of different races. Among them were, as expected, Orions, as well as humans. Also included in the spread were a few Tellerites, some Vulcans, several Betazoids, and a few Andorians.

Rendar had done quite a lot of business with the Orion Syndicate, as part of the Outrider Smuggling Syndicate, or OSS, and, as a matter of fact, owned a small home on the Ondyrion moon, in the large moon-capital city of Ondyrion. Well, technically it was a base of operations for the OSS, but he considered it his "home." Now he, yet again, found himself on a Syndicate world, carrying out Syndicate assignments.

His assignment was to make his way for the Citadel Cantina, a bar in which he would meet a Syndicate representative and hand over special, secret information to him. He was, however, alone, his two Orion Disruptor Blasters clipped on his belt, overt to all around him. Then again, almost everyone on Seakal carried a firearm, so it was no shock to any of its citizens to see someone overtly carrying such weapons.

Rendar moved onward, exiting the circular spaceport area, bypassing a Human merchant who asked if he wanted to purchase some supplies, to whom Rendar motioned his disinterest.

He continued forward, walking through a bustling city marketplace, passing inter-building shops and intra-building shops which had Vulcan, Human, Orion, and Andorian shopkeepers. Toren eventually arrived outside the Citadel Cantina.

After arriving there, he entered the bar, walked over to the bartender, purchased a glass of Skagaran whiskey, his favorite drink, and found the appropriate table, taking a seat.

He was rather surprised to notice that, at about three or four different tables, several Romulans sat, drinking Romulan ale and chatting. It wasn't common to find Romulans here, in Orion space--but then again, it wasn't uncommon as well. He shook his head, forcing the thought away. Rendar then proceeded to pull out a PADD and examine it as he waited for his contact to arrive.

Several minutes later an Orion male entered the cantina, looked around, and glimpsed Rendar. Upon ecognizing the man as his contact, the Orion walked over to him. Toren looked up and said, "What do you want?"

"A glimpse of the unknown," the alien responded, in code, taking the seat across from the human. The smuggler then proceeded to, in reply, reach into his right pocket and grab an information disk.

"Here's the disk," he said, simply. "You can have it once you give me the million."

The alien then reached into his pocket, pulled out a card, and handed it to Rendar. "The million, as desired."

Toren then slid the card into his PADD, insuring that it was, in fact, the proper amount owed.

It was.

The human then proceeded to give the desired information disk--a holographic program disk with a host of illegal information on Klingon economic dealings--to the Orion, who looked it over. It had the right markings and everything.

After making the necessary checks the green alien realized that everything was in order. He stood, pocketed the item, and nodded at the human, turning and leaving the bar.

As Rendar took one further sip of his whiskey he, himself, stood. His job was now done.

But as he began to move forward, towards the exit, a figure walked up in front of him. It was a human.

"Mr. Rendar," the figure, who came into full view, spoke. "I am Lieutenent Nova of Starfleet Intelligence. I have a proposition for you, if you have a moment..."

-Federation Prison, Lunar Colony-

The Bolian motioned for them to continue towards a docking door. He pressed a button on a small device he was carrying. The device on their ankles deactivated and fell off.

"Go." He said firmly.

James slowly made his way towards the docking port. He couldn't believe that he was so close to freedom. The Bolian raise his phaser towards them or rather, Tony. He made the security officers nervous. James opened the door to find a young man, not dressed in a Starfleet uniform waiting for them.

"Hurry up." He said impatiently.

James walked through the port and entered a small shuttle.

"Take a seat and shut up." The young man said.

He sat in the cockpit area and activated a forcefield behind him so that they didn't try anything. James looked at his console and saw he was locked out...

-Federation Prison, Shuttle-

The man swiveled around in his seat. An angry look crossed his face. It was obvious he did not want to be here and he wanted to finish this as fast as possible.

"I said shut up," He repeated, "If you don't, I'll fill that force field with sleeping gas. It makes little difference to me."

He turned around and faced his console once more. James smirked at Tony.

"Try not to anger him eh?" He said.

James ran his fingers through his hair and looked up at Tony, still confused as to why he would be here.

"Tony?" He asked, "Did a rear admiral visit you?"

~Federation Prison, Titan~

Jack walked down the corridor with two guards behind him. Jack was shackled, as this was an area that escape would all be but non stopible.

Jack stoped at the door, and his shackles were removed. Inside, there was two people in a compartment. He saw a face re recognized. He had been in the Federation news service and then some. James Parker, traiter to the federation and starfleet. He had defected to the dominion.

"In."

A guard pushed him in, and the door behind him closed. A few days before, he had been out, but not "released" He had visited his mother, then burried her. Afterwards, with a couple days to spare, he was returned to the prison. Jack looked around the cabin.

"What did i do to get such pleasant company?"

-Shuttle, Cockpit-

James nodded his head slowly towards Tony. Apparently he had gotten the same deal, but why? James didn't know why Tony had been imprisoned. No doubt, something to do with explosives. The shuttle had dropped out of warp and stopped at another moon. Once docked, the doors swooshed open to reveal another man walk in. James looked up at him, not recognizing him.

James squinted his eyes. It was something he did when annoyed. The man no doubt was being sarcastic. By the disgusted look on his face, he had recognized James. The man was in Federation prison uniform as well. What was this? The voyage of the imprisoned?

"I don't know," James replied, "Nothing...legal obviously."

Jack scoffed. He should be the one the talk. Jack looked over to the other man.

"I wont"

Jack said matter of factly.

Jack looked to the cockpit, then back to James, and nodded towards the cockpit.

"He with us?"

-Shuttle, Cockpit-

James folded his arms and shook his head.

"No," He said, "Our angry pilot is just a guest amongst this little circle of misfits."

The shuttle jumped to warp and went to another undisclosed location. The pilot grunted in the direction of the prisoners, but said nothing to them. James looked over at the new prisoner.

"Freedom and dropped charges too?" He asked.

Jack, decided to talk to the man, maybe he'll someday learn his reasoning towards defection. He sat as he nodded.

"I can see you got the same offer."

He looked over to the other man.

"Or what? You'll twitch at me?"

Jack turned back to Parker.

"Names Jack Mercer, congratulations, you just got more converstation from me then anyone has in sometime."

James rolles his eyes at Jack. He acted like chatting with him was some damn honor. He came across as arrogant and James did not like it. His back quickly turned to the two men and he pertened to be interested in the locked console. He hoped that whatever the mission was, it did not require them to be there...

Jack scoffed at james. He simply pointed out in a sarcastic maner that in prison, he was not a talkitive man. Jack looked over to the man who seemd obsessed with blowing things up.

"Oh Is that a fact? You seem obsessed with blowing things up, It's not healthy."

Jack looked at a console. It was dark, so he couldnt use it.

To bad, I could have taken over the shuttle.

Jack shook his head and scoffed. The man seemed so sure of him self. No wonder he was in prison. Jack stood and went to a replicator and got some coffee, no one said they couldnt use it. Jack took in the aroma and went backto his seat with it. He stared at a blank screen, taking care to angle him self to watch what was going on behind him by the reflective srufaces, but made it look like he wasnt, so anyone looking at him, didnt know he could see them.
